Tonight she'll get her much needed decorous sleep. This she swears to the gods of olympus.

Smiling to herself, she walks over to her room after a long warm bath. Changing into her nighties quickly, she then dived onto the plushy pink mattress.    She fixes her pillows so as they encircle her and somewhat appears like boulders or walls around her. Yes people, its gonna be a tough battle again tonight. Better be comfortable and prepared.    She switches off her lamp and buries herself back in her pillows.    There ya go, all set for some snooze.    She started counting rabbits and eventually her eyes flutter.    'One tokki jumped over the fence. Two tokkis jumped over the fence....'    This is the moment she has long been dreaming off!   She finally feels sleep slowly drowning her tired soul and body.                Deep breaths.    'Take deep breaths, Dara.'    'God, take ing deep breaths.'   'Relax. Just keep your eyes shut.'   'You're almost there. Almost asleep. Almost.'   Oh freaking mother of pigs!    Is she somewhat cursed?    The music, voices and laughters from her neighbor's flat was all over her place and damn it is way too loud!   Just how many times must she be interrupted today? She's starting to lose count of the rude people you can find here.    God, why?    WAE?!?!         After three weeks of lurking around, this is actually the only time her neighbor decided to co-exist. She never saw him around, not even a glimpse of his shadow. She's even gone scared he could've been murdered inside his apartment or something.    Each night for the past few weeks, she would stay longer in her balcony, painting but also kind of waiting for that neighbor of hers to pop out. She once caught a glimpse of the interior of his flat when the curtain was left drawn apart. The guy has a lavish taste, that she can tell. And it bugs the cells outta her why she even bothers.    But surely she got better things to do, like right now, like CATCHING SOME SLEEP!    Now she wishes she wasn't so curious about him all this time. If he throws in parties like this one whenever he's around, then he's definitely a major douche and she'd rather live next to a monkey!             The amount of times she got stressed over today is just countless and damn she was supposed to finally get a slumber party with her pillows and bed! So must she be thrilled????   Damn. She's furiously pissed!   'Such good timing you have, you jerk.'   'I SO HATE HIM ALREADY!'   'What an inconsiderate mongrel.'    She sighed and went out to the balcony to grab some fresh air. She so want to yell death at her neighbor right now.        Suddenly the music hushed down and the laughter and loud voices were inaudible.   'Bwo???'    Turning around, she noticed a couple of guys ogling at her. Her eyes widen and felt her cheeks heat up.    'Uh-oh. This wasn't a good idea.' She totally forgot her flat's adjacent to his and so was every corners, their balconies, bedrooms and living rooms. Shoot.   She was wearing her nighties but she feels to extremity with the look these guys are throwing her. She groaned.    "Ya! Never seen a girl on a night gown before?! erts!" She wasn't able to help herself but roar at them.     "Not one as cute as you, honey!" A guy, obviously drunk, yelled back at her and whistled.    The bunch erupted to fits of laughter and Dara wants nothing but to strangle them.    She did notice, however, that the drunkards next door were some of the hottest guys she has seen around New York. If only they weren't neanderthals.    Jeesh.    She manages to walk back to her bedroom and glaring at them one last time before closing her door at their faces. The loud music ensues.    Great. Just great.   At this rate, she has no idea how she's not gonna look like a zombie again tomorrow. If she calls her unnie and mom, she's certain they'd be here in no time.    So why is she prolonging this agony?    She can always come back home. They'd put her to sleep and everything will be alright.    Nah. That would just mean going back to square one. And she can't. She won't. She refuses to give up.    'Dara you're a grown up now. You were just about to sleep fine on your own a while ago, neh?'    Yeah. If it weren't for the mongrels next door. Right.                  Deciding she needs more than concentration, she trudges towards the kitchen. Reinforcements.    Tea may help her sleep. Or milk.    For a while back, she fought over people suggesting sleeping pills. Her physician advised of it, too. But she and her mom are just skeptical about it so she never tried. And she still wouldn't, even on times like these.    She reached over the kitchen cabinets and huffed in dismay to find she doesn't have stocks anymore. No milk as well. She looks into the fridge, no luck. Dang.     Ottokae?   She makes a mental note to do some grocery shopping over the weekend. This poor place is literally empty. Tasteful, yet desolated. A kitchen with no food. How did she even survive here?    Oh yeah, lots of food takeaways. And eat outs.    God, she's hopeless.        Convinced only chai latte can loosen her up right now, she's out on a quest for one. There's a cafe and convenience store here in their block, just on the corner of the street, she's sure. She needs to load up on milk and some food for the fridge too. She checks on the clock, a quarter to midnight.    "Well what better time to walk?" Sheesh. Good thing most stores in this part of New York are open 24hours.    Also, she needs to get away from here before she starts shooting daggers across her neighbor's place.   Putting on a trench coat and boots, she makes her way out.    When she reached the store, only a few people were insid
