Stranger Danger

Jiyong is beyond apoplectic with rage, at the situation, of course. It seems no matter how badly Dara's becoming an everyday er-punch, he can't find the bone to be mad at her. The situation, however, drives him off the road. He should've known better than to go along with his hyung's crazy plan, now he can't even control himself from KISSING her when they haven't even started this whole shenanigan.

He's had his fair share of kissing alright. Thanks to the girls throwing themselves at his feet, modesty aside. But none was like the one he had with Dara, not because he was her first kiss (to which he was immensely overjoyed by the way). He just could not distract his brain from wanting to kiss her again the second his lips left hers. It was implausible.    It never happened before. He couldn't forget how she tasted. She marred his brain to the point where he ultimately had to keep reappearing at her apartment, literally anywhere she's at. There's this mad desire to see her that can't be tamed unless he submit to it.    But being Kwon Jiyong, he couldn't afford to look overeager which only ended up bad for him. She will be pissed with him at every waking moment. If only she knew. Aphrodite frucken darn it.   Take last night as the perfect sample, he can't sleep without seeing her. Without knowing she's got home safe and sound. Without hearing her sweet voice or her bantering. Yes he knew she was sapped out but his curiosity's also piqued by how she'd be after the transformation her friends promised they'd do to her that morning. So he decided to be a moron enough and showed up at her door irregardless.    The sight that unfolded shouldn't have surprised him anymore. He was expecting her to be all dolled-up, like most girls. Yet there she was, hair tied up, sans make up, dressed in tattered pajamas and pouting at him. Disappointing, uh-hmn. It was funny, though, that he was far from being disappointed. If any, he badly wanted to sink his teeth at her plump lips and bury his nose at her unruly tresses.    How's his insanity going along, you dare ask? It's slipping away just fine, he guesses.    He only wanted a few minutes more with her, just to indulge on her beauty. But somehow the situations never seem to take his side, because in less than five minutes since she had let him in, she was already kicking him out.    He didn't mean to about the kiss, it came out and they both got on the wrong foot.  For all his discipline, he believes it would be deviously hard to keep his hands off her. It was a complete disaster.  How could it go so bad with a girl he never dated when he never failed swooning all his past flings? Its like whatever he does, whatever he says will set off her alarm and she'll be spewing off things at him.     This was what hit him early this morning, that he may be falling way too hard and he have a sinking feeling he's bound to get his first heartbreak. Everything he touches breaks and he is not someone who will be able to keep her. He can't have her. She would only get hurt, he wouldn't allow her eyes to go dim and blank. Her heart wouldn't grow ashen and cold.    It would be better if she despises him like this.           "Hey sluggard, come on let's go!"    Dara's head sprang up at the annoyingly cheerful voice of Bomnana. Her friend was beaming down at her.    Lunch time. Nothing excites Bommie more than shopping, AND eating.    "Ya, move your lazy bones now, Darongggg~ I can't wait to feed my hungry tummy. And the girls are waiting."    Dara raised an eyebrow and grabbed her purse.  "Aigoo, Bommie. You're always hungry."    They walked down to Le Bernardin for some seafood delight.   All throughout lunch, she was yawning like a mad cow. She barely slept again. The last time she had a real sleep was when Jiyong was there. And she would rather be caught dead than to admit that to him. The douche's been a no-show since yesterday, not that she cares. Or anything. She sighed.    "I hope it's a guy who's keeping you up late and not this ridiculous monophobia you've had since you were a kid." Chaerin noted.    Dara's heart skipped a beat and she didn't answer. Partly because she was too sleep-deprived that the mere act of chewing her lunch is taking up all her energy. And yes she actually don't know how to tell Chaerinnie twas somewhat both a guy and her monophobia.    "I think it's the latter, unnie. There is no way Dara unnie will waste a single brain cell on a guy, we know that all too well." Mingkki playfully suggested and the girls erupted to fists of laughter. Dara only rolled her eyes.    "I know right? Like how can she miss seeing Kwon Jiyong in Ibiza? Everybody who was there that night has seen him!" Bom gushes.    Ugh, not again.    Another Kwon Jiyong topic, as expected.    "I lost my contacts, too bad for me huh. Big deal." She said sarcastically.    "Why aren't you interested in him?" Chae eyes her.   "Why will I be? You're all so obsessed with him. God, I hear his name in the foyer, in the washroom, and even in Hye-Sun's mouth every single day. It's sickening already. He's still..just a guy."    Mingkki gasped. "Unnie! He's not your regular chaebol! He manages their businesses well. I also heard he's into artworks, he's been making millions on his own modern art exhibits. Yes he's a major girl magnet but you see, he never had a real girlfriend, only strings of flings. He's too careful not to have his name attached to any girl, he's just always single. And he doesn't sleep around, contrary to popular belief. He'll be gone after a few dates. Eom chin a! Isn't he a god?"    Bommie drooled.    Eeek.    "A what?" Dara snorted.    She couldn't contest, really, they know Mingkki's got a reputation for credibility, there's about a hundred percent chance she may be right but she doesn't know a single thing about what a douchebag Kwon is. Unfortunately for Dara, she got a firsthand roll.    "For all we know, he could have a stinking personality. He might be a total jerk and snob." She glances at Mingkki who looks completely mortified at her.   "Yeah." Chaerin nodded. "But that's what makes him more sought-after, his rough edges are usually attractive to girls and his mysterious side pulls off the vibe real well."    Dara pinches the bridge of her nose.    Argh, there's no getting around these girls. They're sporting these heart eyes only for the great Kwon Jiyong. And its not going away no matter what she says. Blech.   Mingkki's eyes suddenly went saucers-wide and Bommie swallowed hard as a group of guys sat a few tables away from them.    "Mwong mi? Daebakkkk!" Bommie whispers.    "Don't look now but it's Kwon Jiyong."    BWO?!?!?!   Dara nearly scalded herself with coffee as she and Chaerin looked at the same time and there he is, looking immaculate in his business suit.    Hun-nammmm. Crap!    MEN BUNG MEN BUNG MEN BUNG!    She looked away quickly.    "I told you to not look!" Bommie hisses.    "Time to go back to the office, girls." She hisses back.    "But unnie we still have about an hour to go, let's stay please." Mingkki pleaded.    She opens to tell Minggki they can't stay but then her phone gave a shrill and she answered it on reflex.    "Ya.."    She almost dropped her phone at the voice. JIYONG?! She put away her phone from her ears and checked the screen, it was him indeed.    Aaaackkk~!    Her eyes darted at his direction as she placed the phone back at her ears while her friends curiously gape at her. She swears she never sweated this much in her whole existence, damn you Kwon!    He was nonchalantly looking outside the restaurant. "Have you gone deaf now?"    "Mwo?!" She screeched and his lips turned into a crooked smile.    "I just wanted to say hi. I know you missed me already. I don't want you to think I'm some snob. I miss you too." He smirked.    At this point, Dara's face has gone beet red. Her friends are exchanging glances and she just wants the table to clobber her up entirely. She was hyperventilating.    "Gwenchana. Bye."    Jiyong only smiled widely. .    Will it be a crime if she goes berserk now?    "Dee?" Bommie interceded.    Oh, you lucky son-of-a-sheep! You almost got your arse burned, Kwon.    "
