The simple text message turned into a conversation, and then turned to a phone call and eventually to a date. They met up the week after and the week after that, the two became such good friends that they would often eat lunch together, and even watch a movie. They were totally casual about it but Heechul kept on telling Boa that they’re dating but she’s defensive about it. How she spent her weekends changed from being lazy to lunch dates, movie, going to the beach and even food trips. Yunho changed her from the lazy, non girly-girl to a girl who voluntarily wear a dress even on the weekends and who would re-schedule her plans just to accommodate a guy, namely Yunho. Heechul kept checking up on them, he would call the other one up just to say hi but in reality, he would be listening if the other one is present, to his happiness, he hears the other one’s voice every time. One lunch date, they went to a café where they saw a friend of Yunho’s, they were eating their sandwiches in peace when a guy walked to their table “Yunho?” he said
Yunho turned to face him, he then swallowed the bite that he took and said “Hojun-ah!”
“How are you, man?” Hojun asked
“I’m good, you?” Yunho asked back
“I’m great. I was in the neighbourhood and I saw you from the window so here I am”
“What’s brings you here?”
“I had some things to sign and meetings to go to”
“Ahh…” he said, then he looked at Boa “Oh. By the way, this is Boa”
“Hi” Hojun said to Boa, Boa then replied “Hello”
“Yunho-ah. Why didn’t you tell me the at you were dating.”
“No” Yunho and Boa said in unison “We’re just friends” Boa said
“Oh. I’m sorry” Hojun apologized to Boa and she just smiled. Boa then excused herself to go to the powder room. Hojun then sat and said “Friends?” to Yunho
“Yeah, we’re just friends. Can’t a girl and a guy be just friends?”
“Rare, but it’s possible. Where did you two meet?”
“Friend of ours set us up” Yunho replied
Hojun laughed in shock and asked “What? You were set up on a date and you two are now going on lunch dates?”
“Yes” Yunho simply replied. Hojun was shaking his head and laughing at his friend’s story, finding it real ridiculous “I don’t get you, dude but I do hope you’re happy” Hojun said. Boa then was back and Hojun said his goodbye to the two of them and left, the two also left to return to their work.

They were waiting for the stop light to say go for them to cross, when it did Boa stepped on the pedestrian and didn’t see a car that apparently beat the red light. The car was headed toward Boa, Yunho saw the car approaching and Boa not realizing that she was getting into something. The car was approaching fast and Boa saw the car too late, being the man with fast reflexes, Yunho grabbed Boa’s arm and pulled her to him, securing her in his arms with one of his hand at the back of her head. “Are you okay?” Yunho asked, Boa just nodded at him, in shock. She tried to walk but her knees were too wobbly and Yunho caught her before her knees meet with the concrete “Maybe you should sit down” he said, guiding her to a nearby bench. Yunho then took his phone and called someone to inform them that there has been an emergency and that he’ll be coming back to the office a little late. He then talked to Boa and stayed with her till she’s able to walk and was calm enough to go back to her office and told them what happened to her. They gave her a few days off to rest, Yunho gave her a ride back home and settled her in before leaving. “Call me if you need anything, okay?” he said
“Yep. Thanks for everything, Yunho” she said, touching his arm
“You’re welcome. Stay safe!” he said before vanishing from Boa’s place.

Late Update, I know. So many things went down, including my laptop plus the holidays so I have no excuse. I do hope that you'll like this chapter, no romance here yet but at least we have skinship. :)
