The sun was shining up high in the icy blue coldness of winter sky, dryness came, no single snow has graced the day, only the traces of a cold night lingers in the edges of building, corners of the streets, the part where no one could give two s about. Cold breeze lightly hits Taekwoon’s uncovered face and hair, the slightly reddish hue of his cheeks turning into a shade brighter red and he couldn’t look more adorable with his big coat and covered hands. He looked just like a little baby bear wanting a cuddle.

His hands was full though, carrying bags filled with coffees and sweets as he had just gotten home from the coffee shop he owned. The atmosphere was good for cuddles and kisses, he thought to himself, soft smile etching onto his beautiful face as the tought of his lover coming to the front door to greet him.

Stopping by the front door, he shuffled about, trying to press the password in, soft curses escaping his lips as he struggles to do so. Giving up, he finally placed the plastic bags down and now properly presses the code, smiling when the sizzling sound of something cooking and the distinctful smell of his husband’s signature soup filled his warm apartment.

“Hyung?” he called out, receveing a loud ‘here’ as an answer. Chuckling, he shuffled inside with his bags and kicked his shoes off. “Come greet me by the front door or I’ll give you the overly sweet Americano!” he threated, soft voice sounding loud even in his ears but he doesn’t mind. He’ll do anything to have his beloved hyung running down to embrace him in his arms.

True to his expectation, his husband of two years, Seungho, rushes to the front door, dark eyes looking scary and full of murderuous intention but it was full of fondness and it made Taekwoon smile.

Without any second thought, the shorter male embraced his younger husband into his arms, chuckling as the plastic bags create some noisy rustling voice as he tugged his tall dongsaeng’s head down. “Welcome home,” he whispered, plush lips pressing against smaller ones.

“I smell something burning,” was Taekwoon’s answer and he couldn’t help but to laugh out loud on the slight panicked look on his husband’s face before getting a hard hit onto his chest.

Yes, he was home.
