"Hey kid"

"Yes, Mr.scary?"

"Why did those kids bully you?"

They were now on the play ground, because Taekwoon didn't want to go home early today, and he's craving for some ice-cream, so when he asked, the kid, of course, was more than happy to agree. He stopped eating his chocolate ice-cream to think for a second and answered Taekwoon "I guess because I'm dark" he said and continuing to eat. Taekwoon looked at him "Does that even make sense? Why don't you fight back? It's not like you're weak or something."

The kid just shrugged, the "It happened all the time" and "I'm used to it" flew out of his mouth so easily, but Taekwoon could feel the sadness in it clearly, of course, he knew it more than anybody. He's in that state now too. The kid hesitated "Everybody hates me, I get that" he sighed "And I know you do too" and looked down at the ground, let the ice-cream melt on his hand

Taekwoon stopped swinging and looked at him, he frowned " No I don't hate you" he said and the way the kid's face light up made his heart at ease "Really?" he asked and Taekwoon let a small smile appear on his lips "Of course"

This time when they came to the intersection divided the ways to their home, Taekwoon waited for the kid to walk away first and looked until his shadow disappeared in the alley with a smile. For the first time, Taekwoon felt like he wasn't alone in this world. And he realized he still didn't know the kid's name. Well, he could ask him tomorrow, he thought.

Taekwoon rushing to the school gate to find no one standing there, waiting for him. The kid didn't show up today. He's quite disappointed, maybe the kid's busy, he thought to himself. He would see him tomorrow then. But in the following day, he still found no one. This time Taekwoon's worried, was there something wrong with the kid? he thought, he ran to the kid's school. The school is long closed. He ran to the play ground to find nothing either. He wanted to come to the kid's house but he couldn't. He didn't know where. He cursed himself. 

One week passed and he still got no clue where the kid was, he started thinking
