The sun shined through the widow and the alarm buzzing shockingly woke up a tired and confused Jaemi. *6.47* she groaned. Dragging her lazy body towards the bathroom, in hopes she will have enough time to shower.

After coming out with a towel around her she checked the time again, “okay I have a hour, come on Jaemi you can do this!” after opening the closet to find there was in her opinion “no clothes” she realised that she hadn’t yet fully unpacked.

After sighing and complaining to herself she finally went to a box in which she picked out something to wear. “It might be best if I put in effort for my first day off school.” She thought as she slipped into a short floral dress with legging, applied light makeup, grabbed her bag and ran down the stairs,

Jaemi headed to the kitchen to find something to eat due to rush she quickly grabbed apple and informed her mother that she was now leaving, thanking her for the luck she wished.

Walking down the street all I could think about was the reality of the situation, I am actually here in Korea and surprisingly not jet lagged, on my way to school I mean how can I not be nervous, what is a Korean school like, are people nice here? What about the teaching? Gaah the nerves are killing me, but today is a fresh start I will enjoy it,
