I.M was just doing his homework from his desk,so early in the morning.He glided his pencil across the paper,finishing the math problem he took hours to understand.And just a few moments after,a tap pounded on his window.He looked over in shock and saw his next door neighbor,and also a classmate of his that he much avoided,across the other side still throwing the pebbles at his window despite the fact that she knew she caught his attention at the first pebble.

Once all the pebbles were gone,she sighed in disappointment and looked at I.M with a smirk.She gestured him to open his window after she opened hers.

“Hey,nerd.”She called out making him wince at the nickname.

“I would much prefer to be not called that.”He said.

Her smirk widened,”Oh,looks like the nerd got some bite.”

Regina Yoon.The school’s rebel.The one girl who always gets in trouble countless of times and would literally cut off anyone’s breathing supply if they were caught taking a breath around her.Of course,he never saw that,but rumors.He was always told to avoid her at all costs by many different people just like everyone else does.Yet,here he is acknowledging her.

“Why are you always cooped up inside your house?”Regina asked with an raised eyebrow,”I literally haven't seen you outside anywhere.”

I.M blinked at her two times before responding and hoping he wouldn't get beat up tomorrow,”I don't have anything to do.”

That simple response made her chuckle while I.M,in the other side,was still in shock she even spoke to him or even laugh.At that sight,I.M almost thought she wasn't the person people claimed to be.

“You need to live a little.”Regina said that sounded like a statement.

“CHANGKYUN!”A voice inside his house made him look back at his door and faced back at Ryan who waved her fingers in the air,gesturing that she was waving him goodbye.

I.M stared at her retreating back before walking away from the window.

It was just like another night,I.M was just reading his most recent book he had bought from the bookstore,which was quite old and almost wearing down yet it didn't stop him from buying it.Looking at the clock and realizing it was quite late,I.M stretched out his arms and leaned backwards in his chair before closing the book.He still heard his mother cooking downstairs,just like always despite it being midnight.Thinking about it,he let out a chuckle at how crazy his mother was.

Closing the lamp,I.M made a move to his bed when he heard something hit his window.Tilting his head,I.M made his way towards his window and spread out his curtains to see
