I slowly rolled out of bed, slamming my hand against the blazing alarm that had, for once, successfully completed its job. 

Groggily wiping my eyes, I frowned slightly. I had a good 3 hours until I had to be at the library. Peeling away from the bed, I hopped into the shower and changed into a comfortable pair of shorts and a v-neck tee. It felt good to finally wear something besides pyjamas and school uniform. 

I walked over to my vanity and turned up some music as I applied my makeup. I loved wearing makeup. It made me feel so much more ready to tackle the day. 

After dusting on some powder to set it in my place, I jogged down the usually loud corridors. My hand splayed against the wall, trailing me as I walked. This house was much too big for me to be alone. There was 5 bedrooms including mine and 3 bathrooms. One would ask why me and Suzy had such a large house to ourselves but after I made the decision that I was moving to Korea, my father's sole request was that we stayed at our family house so he knew I was in safe hands. I rarely spoke to them since we'd made the move and our only contact was the money he'd deposit into my account every month. 

There was a maid, Mrs Kim, who visited once a week to tidy up the house and stock up on any groceries we were missing but I was stubborn that I didn't want maids attending to my every need. It wasn't that I didn't like the materials or the luxuries of having a wealthy father, rather I was just extremely strict on privacy. 

I sighed as I passed the empty bedrooms and headed downstairs to the kitchen, instantly regretting not asking Mrs Kim to prepare some packed lunches. I was a horrid chef and since Suzy, the only cooking potential in this household, wasn't here I was probably going to drop a few pounds in her absence. 

Chuckling, I headed to the cupboard to pour myself some cereal.

I stared at the clock, realising I still had a solid hour until 9. Decisively, I took out my laptop to see if Suzy happened to be online despite the high unlikelyhood. Still, my shoulders sagged at the lack of notifications. Before I could log off with disappointment, my eyes trained on the glowing symbol at the top of the page. Curiously, I clicked on the button and a new notification popped up.

If eyes could bulge out of their sockets, mine definitely would have. He made an account. I couldn't help but wonder whether it was because of me. Smiling at the thought, I accepted. He must have been online because a message popped up instantly.

LILI [18/09 08:12AM]: You made an account?

DRAGON_YIFAN [18/09 08:13AM]: Told you we'd speak again soon.

LILI [18/09 08:14AM]: Ahahah I guess so.

I found myself telling Yifan more and more about myself. I wasn't one to reveal my secrets to people but the fact that he was in another country made it alot easier to talk to him. I didn't have to worry about it as much. I told him how I was awkward around boys and he didn't find it wierd at all. He had a way of making me feel comfortable. He opened up to me too, telling me the story of how he never wanted to have a girlfriend or be in a serious relationship.

DRAGON_YIFAN [18/09 08:57AM]: I'm never going to have a girlfriend and you're uncomfortable around boys. It'll help you grow more comfortable with talking to boys intimately and I'll have the priviledge of experiencing what it's like to have a girlfriend. 

Now I wasn't sure what to think. The idea sounded so stupid on one end of the spectrum and yet so plausible on the other. Besides, when he explained it like that I couldn't help but want him to know what it was like to have someone worried about him like a girlfriend. I had to admit it was cute to hear him ask me to be his girlfriend so sincerely. Besides, since I didn't believe in online love and he didn't believe in love at all, it seemed like a rather appropriate deal.

LILI [18/09 09:04AM]: Ahah Don't get ahead of yourself. I don't believe in online love.

I shook my head with a 'tsk'. Cocky bastard. He'd told me stories of girls on EXOTIC that would go crazy after him and after he'd sent me screenshots, I couldn't help but laugh at how 'crazy' they honestly were. It kind of made me pity them. They were foolish to think feelings could honestly grow over a computer screen. I mean how much do you really know about someone you've never met? Everything you know about them could be a lie.

My eyes suddenly snagged as they hovered over the time.

. I was late.

KRIS POV.

I frowned as I stared at the screen. I knew I had started it by telling her not to fall in love with me but that was kind of harsh. She didn't believe in online love? Why did that only make me want to prove it was possible?

"You !" I looked upward just in time to catch the handbag that had come hurtling towards me. Resisting the urge to smirk, I arched a questioning brow to the infuriated girl. "How could you just abandon us at the Gucci store! You jerk! Now go pay the taxi driver, he's waiting outside and you owe us."

I shook my head at Suzy's melodramatic act. It wasn't my fault Tao and her were taking one hour to examine bags. Reluctantly I stood to go sort out their taxi fare since it was kind of my fault they had to take a taxi.

It wasn't until lunch did I notice what a fatal mistake that was.

Suzy was the last one to arrive at the table and immediately I noticed something aloof in her expression. She was smirking at me. 

Ignoring it, I moved to serve myself but Suzy didn't seem to be letting up. She knew something.

"So Kris, how's your girlfriend?" She casually asked, playing with her spaghetti. I froze, my eyes wandering around the to the other boys who all looked towards me with wide, disbelieving eyes. She couldn't have known. Lian would never tell Suzy something like this and even if she had, they hadn't even had the chance to speak yet.

"The one made of air or ace?" I asked dryly, with reference to my beautiful alpaca.

"No, you know who I'm talking about dragon Yifan." 

The sound of clattering silenced her before she could go on as I dropped my plate. She saw! 

"Kitchen." I spat, storming off.

She took her time following me but my anger hadn't faded one bit.

"How much did you read?"

"Everything." She giggled unapologetically.

I palmed my face and rubbed my temples. I was the one that had left my computer screen in the open after she threw her purse at me so it was partially my fault.

"Don't worry, I think you guys make a cute couple." She added cheekily, making me grimace.

"Shut up. You know I'll never fall in love."

"I know." 

I looked upwards, suprised by how sombre her expression had become. She always got upset when we talked about this but no matter how much she tried to convince me, I refused to fall in love. I can't risk it.

"Well in any case, I think this will be good for the both of you." Suzy smiled, patting my shoulder.

"Yeah just don't tell her its me when we go back to Korea."

"Huh? She's going to find out-"

"No. She's going to be awkward then. Don't call me Yifan in front of her and tell the others too. It's Kris."

LIAN POV.

As promised, the first thing I spotted was Chanyeol's unruly copper hair bobbing up and down impatiently outside the library. I managed to make it there just 15 minutes late but I still felt horrible for making him wait.

I bowed several times but he just waved it off. I liked that about him. He was really forgiving.

Min and Jia were sitting in the study room with Baekhyun, Sehun and another boy I could not attach a name to. I knew he was one of Chanyeol's friends but I just couldn't place a name on him.

"That's Kai." Chanyeol answered almost telepathically. I flushed and nodded as we walked towards the others. Naturally, I moved to take the seat between Min and Jia but Chanyeol was too quick and tugged me down beside him. I couldn't find my voice to say anything so I quietly took the seat, my gaze cast at my lap.

"Fei?" I murmured.

"Went to go buy snacks." Min answered, giving me an encouraging look.

The study session went rather well but that was because I kept to myself until I came to a problem I needed help with. 

I looked over at Chanyeol through my bangs and he seemed to be completely focused on his work. I didn't want to be a distraction. Taking a deep breath I reminded myself of what Yifan told me. Just think of it as if you're talking to me. As if I'm talking to Yifan. Exhaling, I reached up and tapped Chanyeol.

He seemed suprised at first but a huge smile was quick to show that it was the pleasant kind of suprised.

"Um, do you know how to answer this problem?" I asked, chewing on my lower lip. I wanted to look at his eyes as I spoke to him and somehow, I managed to.

He seemed  rather flustered by the sudden change. I noticed because now he was the one having a hard time looking me in the eyes. It made me giggle.

"Y-yeah. Sure just u-um." 

His stuttering was adorable. I couldn't contain my smile and I found myself growing more confident with my words. 

Chanyeol was a good teacher. He explained the question very thoroughly. It made me wonder why he had to take supplementary classes but when I'd asked, he turned bright pink.

"Chanyeol doesn't need to take them. He purposely decided to because you would be there." Baekhyun yelled despite Chanyeol muffling him with his hand.

I laughed softly, amused by their bickering.

I felt a hand pat my head and looked over to Min and Jia who were wearing proud smiles. It made them look like proud parents who had just seen their daughter take her first steps. I smacked their hands away childishly and stuck my tongue out. My cheeks heated immediately when I noticed the four boys staring at me with open mouths.

"It's so strange seeing Lian like this." Sehun spoke.

"Yeah you're normally so quiet and timid." Baekhyun added, leaning closer to me. I moved back slightly but Chanyeol seemed to understand and shoved Baekhyun's face backward.

"I like it though." He grinned, making me grin back.
