Angel’s recovery has been good so far, she can move her arms now and is able to eat normally at times as well. She’s under the care of her mom, who took a leave for her until she can do everything on her own.
"Honey, I have to go to the office for the day. They need me for an important meeting. I’ll call Donghae to pitch in for me" her mom said, as soon as she finished her breakfast.
"But mom, I’m fine. I can take care of myself"
"Yeah, says you who can’t even eat properly" her mom said, planting a kiss on her forehead before she left for work.

Few moments later, Donghae showed up and went straight for Angel “Hey Pumpkin!”
“Hey…”
“You don’t look too happy to see me” Donghae said, heading straight to the kitchen and to the fridge
“I don’t understand why mom insists that you be with me, I’m fine on my own” Angel said
“Yeah, says you who can’t eat properly” Donghae remarked
“That’s what she said to me earlier!! Ugh, You’re starting to sound like mom” Angel said, laughing. Donghae prepared food for the two of them, he let Angel drink her medicines and they settled on the couch. “Movie?” Donghae asked
“Can we please do something else? I’ve been watching movies for a few weeks now. Can we at least play a game?”
“You can barely move your arms and you want to play a game?” he said and shook his head, Angel was unable to answer and Donghae looked at her and added “How about I change your bandages? They don’t look too good” before getting up and getting a fresh roll of bandages. He closed the blinds and turned the lights on and got a hold of the hem of her shirt. Angel stiffened up and said “I… I… I think you should let mom do this bit”
“Look, I'm already here. Come on… it’s just me” Donghae said and carefully lift her shirt up. He removed the bandage on her right shoulder first, squeezed Hydrogen Peroxide on a cotton ball and said “This is gonna sting a little” before applying on to her would, Betadine then followed and then a new bandage was taped on. After he did the same thing with her left shoulder, he got a new shirt and put it on her as well. “Does it hurt?” he asked.
“A little…”
“Don’t worry pumpkin, It’s gonna be fine.” He assured her and added “How about that movie? I got new ones…” with a smile
Angel smiled as well and said “Okay”.

Angel’s mom was able to go back to work thanks to Donghae. He has been lending his time to take care of Angel and to accompany her in her therapy session which is torture for him because Angel kept on crying when she’s asked to move her arms and Donghae doesn’t like it when he sees her cry. He was waiting for Angel to finish her therapy session when he felt a tap on his shoulder, it was Yoona “Hi” she said
“Hey, how are you?” he said
“I’m good… you?” she asked, taking the seat beside Donghae
“I’m great… What are you doing here?”
“Visiting a friend… you?”
“I’m waiting for Angel to finish up therapy” he said
“Oh, so are you two?”
“No, I uhm… I filled in for her mom”
“You haven’t told her?”
“Yoona… I… I’m really sorry. I didn’t know…”
“You don’t have to apologize to me for that. It’s not your fault.”
“I did love you…”
“I know… but you just love her more than me and that’s nothing to be sorry about” Yoona said, smiling
“Thanks… ”
“For what?” she asked, giggling “for dumping you and telling you that you love your best friend?” she added and Donghae nodded. Yoona stood up, put her hand on his shoulder and said “I’d be happier if you told her you love her”. Donghae looked at her, he smiled and nodded before she took her leave. He laughed to himself at what his ex told him “That girl… seriously” he whispered to himself.

Angel then appeared and was puzzled “Hae?” she asked
“Oh hey… are you done with therapy?”
“Yeah… are you okay? Why are you talking to yourself?”
“Oh that… I was just thinking out loud”
“Okay…”
“Shall we?” Donghae asked and he assisted Angel to the car. He let her in the back seat while he goes in the driver’s seat “What did your therapist say?” he asked
“She said that I only need one more therapy and then I can go back to being normal me again.”
“That’s great then! Your mom is gonna be ecstatic when she hears this” Donghae said as he was driving.
“Yeah… Sorry you had to wait long”
“It’s okay… I actually saw Yoona”
“Oh yeah… how is that girlfriend of yours?” Angel suddenly remembered
“We’re not together anymore…” Donghae merely said
“What?! Why didn’t you tell me? Since when?”
“She broke up with me when you had your little tile accident. Sorry, I just didn’t want to add to the stitches on your head and shoulders.”
“Are you okay? I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay… I got over it. It’s nothing to get worried about”
“What did she say when you saw her earlier?”
“She was asking me what I was doing and that I should make her breaking up with me worth it”
“And?”
“I told her that I was waiting for you and that I would make our breakup worth it”
“Okay… How?” Angel asked and Donghae was unable to answer. He focused on the road and didn’t speak till they got to Angel’s house.

Once inside, the two were surrounded with silence. It wasn’t awkward but they just didn’t know what to say to each other. Donghae prepared food in silence while Angel set up the table, they sat across each other and ate; Donghae put food on her spoon and Angel put food on his spoon in return as well. Donghae washed the dishes, Angel cleaned the table and they settled on the couch a few minutes later. Angel then broke their silence by saying “You still haven’t answered my question.”
“Yeah… she told me to tell the person I love that I love her”
“Well… have you told her yet?” Angel asked
“Not yet…” Donghae said
“Why?” she asked, looking at him and waiting for an answer
Donghae smiled and said “Her stitches might come off if I do”. Angel smiled and teared up before saying “I think her stitches can handle it”. He then sat a little closer to her and asked “Can she?”
“Yeah” she said, wiping her tears with the back of her hand.

Angel was back to being her normal self again. She can move her arms now and her stitches are far than okay, all that’s left is removing them so that she’ll be bandage free. “Hey Babe” a voice then said by the door.
“Hi! I’ll just get my keys and then I’ll be right out” she said
“Okay, I’ll wait for you in the car.” The voice replied. Angel then got her keys, locked up and went to the car. She sat on the passenger’s seat, closed the door and put on her seatbelt.
“Ready?” the voiced asked
“Not really” she replied
“It’s gonna be fine, it’ll be over before you know it.” He said, held her hand and kissed the back of it
“Okay” she said and the car left for the hospital. Angel’s stitches were removed and it didn’t even hurt one bit. After getting out of the doctor’s clinic, “Angel!” a voice said
“Hi  Yoona!” Angel replied
“Are you okay now? Last time I saw Hae, he was waiting for you to finish therapy”
“I’m all better now, Thanks. You, what brings you here?”
“Yeah, I broke my hand” she said, showing her cast
“Oh no, are you going to be okay?”
“Yup, My doctor said it might take me six months but we’ll see”
“I hope it heals fast.” Angel said
“Thank you… are you with somebody? Would you like to grab a cup of coffee?” Yoona asked
“I actually…” she started but she was cut off by a man shouting “Babe!”
“Yeah… I have him with me” Angel said, smiling and blushing at the same time “Hey… where have you been?” she said to the man
“I just went to the bathroom” he said
“Hi” Yoona said to him
“Yoona! What are you doing here?”
“I broke my hand… I uhm I’m happy to see that you finally told her” Yoona said
“Well I wouldn’t have known if you haven’t told me” he replied
“Hae, you knew. You just wouldn’t believe in yourself.” Yoona said, and added “It’s nice to see you both but I have to go, My ride is here. I’ll see you around!” before leaving. The two looked at Yoona and saw her meet up with a man, they both smiled and Donghae planted a kiss on the side of Angel’s head, wrapped his arms around her and whispered “I love you”. Angel hugged him tighter, she looked at him whispered “I love you” back.
