Luhan knocked on the door.

“Come in!” A deep voice boomed.

Luhan stepped inside and noticed Chanyeol at his desk, looking slightly stressed out.

“Is everything okay?” Luhan asked, walking over and taking a seat next to Chanyeol.

“Just practicing my lines,” Chanyeol replied.

“Right,” Luhan grinned. "Actor Park!"

Chanyeol grinned back. “Anyways, what’s up?”

Luhan started playing with his hands. “I need to tell you something."

“Shoot,” Chanyeol said, his eyes back on the script in his hands.

Luhan took a deep breath. “I’m leaving.”

Chanyeol looked up quickly, his hands suddenly gripping his script tightly. “When you say you’re leaving…?”

“Meaning I’m leaving the group, yes,” Luhan said quietly.

Chanyeol put his script down and put his head in his hands, massaging his temples.

Luhan continued playing with his hands, the sound of the clock in the room ticking loudly in the background.

After awhile, Chanyeol looked up. “Hyung, can’t you reconsider? You know what happened when-" He took a deep breath. "-when Kris left…”

“I-“ Luhan stopped. He shook his head. “I made up my mind.”

Chanyeol nodded. “I guess I can’t stop you.”

“I’m sorry,” Luhan said quietly.

Chanyeol’s hands shook and he quickly brought his hands to his hair, messing up his bangs.

Luhan stood up. “I’m really sorry about this, Chanyeol,” he said as he headed for the door. "I’m sorry for disappointing you, too."

Chanyeol remained silent. When he heard the door close, he let out the breath he didn’t realize he was holding. He felt his vision blur but quickly blinked away the tears. He tried to smooth the slightly crumpled up script before throwing it onto the floor and letting out a strangled cry.
