Myungsoo was due for his overseas concert in two days. His mind was in mess because of Se Na and Jinhee – Se Na was seriously not accepting him and Jinhee’s walls were up again. It was tough to focus on practices but he had to pull through. There was still no reply from Jinhee and he was already considering just giving up and letting things be, but a nagging feeling always crept up when he chose to ignore.

And what box was Jinhee talking about?

“How’s Jinhee doing dear?” His mom asked as she peeled apples.

“Good I guess. Molla”

“Wae? Did you guys have a fight?”

“Aniyo. She’s just being…. Difficult”

“In what way?”

“Jinhee says she has feelings for me. I mean, I like her too but not in that way. She’s like a sister… I can’t… I mean I don’t… I don’t know eomeoni. I like Se Na” Myungsoo sighed as he fiddled with his phone.

“Hmmm….”

“She’s always there for me, she makes me happy. Makes me laugh. Gives me motivation to do better. Even when everyone has their back against me I know I can count on her. When she’s not around I feel completely lost…”

“Who dear…?”

“Yoon Se Na…”

“Jinjja? I thought you were talking about Jinhee. It sounds like you were talking about Jinhee…” His mom replied and walked to the kitchen.

Myungsoo frowned and pondered over what his mom said. Was he talking about Jinhee? Or Se Na?

“Myungsoo ah the box in your room do you want me to clear that?” His mom asked.

“Box? What box?”

“The one that’s been lying by your bed...”

He stood up and thought was this the box Jinhee was talking about. True enough, he completely forgotten about that – it was sent by his fans and somehow ended up with her, but she didn’t want it. Why?

Myungsoo sat on the floor and placed the box in front of him. Taking a deep breath, not knowing what to expect, he opened it. Right at the top was a couple tees with a drawing of Jinhee and him. He cringed then chuckled, Jinhee wouldn’t mind wearing this. There were more fan arts of them together and it dawned on him there were people who wished they were a couple.

Then there was an album, chucked right at the corner – it was more of a scrapbook actually. One of his fansite noona had photos of them walking in the park, eating pancakes at Sinchon. It was creepy to know someone actually followed them around but then he could see for himself how happy he was with Jinhee by his side.

“Omo… Your fans sent those?” His mom asked as she caught sight of all the presents.

“N… Ne….”

“How nice of them. Did Jinhee see this?”

“Yeah, she returned it to me. Said she didn’t want to keep it. Told me to do whatever I wanted with it…”

“I see. Well, what are you going to do about it..?”

“Keep it”

M: I’m going to keep the box
J: It’s yours anyway
M: It’s half yours chubs…
J: Where’s the first stop?
M: Hong Kong
J: You’ll do great. I’m sure of it
M: I miss you chubs

Myungsoo just finished his last song and was backstage when the fans started chanting again. Not wanting to disappoint them, the producer agreed on three more songs before calling it a night. He agreed and asked for 5 minutes to catch his breath.

The whole fandom was chaotic right now, Jinhee’s post went viral. They knew she was around here somewhere! Myungsoo asked the producer what the fans were chanting about and got a huge shock when the producer asked if he knew anything about Baek Jinhee.

“Hyung, Jinhee is here?!” Myungsoo asked his manager.

“I… I think so… Wait. I’ll check her IG” His manager checked on his phone and gave Myungsoo a thumbs up. “She’s here. Somewhere in the front row I guess?”

“Find her hyung. Please” Myungsoo pleaded as he took the mike and stepped onto the stage again.

The crowd cheered and clapped loudly when he came on stage again, making him blush a little. It was heartwarming to know he still had fans supporting him even after all the scandal he caused and not being in Infinite Power anymore.

“I want to thank you all for coming. I really appreciate it, this means so much to me. I know a certain someone is present here. Do you guys know who?”

“BAEK JINHEE!” The crowd cheered.

“Who???”

“BAEK JINHEE!!!!”

“Should we invite her up on stage?” Myungsoo grinned while trying to scan the crowds, it was dark and he was afraid he couldn’t find her.

“YESSS!!!”

“Jinhee ah…. Odisseooo……..”

The fans started looking around, each and every one looking to their right and left to make sure if it was Jinhee or not. Myungsoo could see his manager and a few staffs walking around the VIP area to search as well.

Suddenly a light shone somewhere towards the back of the moshpit and people made space, Myungsoo could see her clearly. Jinhee covered her eyes from the glaring light but he could tell she was blushing mad as well. He felt a sudden urge to run up to her at that instant and hug her tight.

“Hi Jinhee” Myungsoo said, his voice loud and clear thanks to the microphone. “Could someone bring her up on stage please?”

“WoooOooOoOoOooOoooOOo~~”

One of the security guards came forward and escorted Jinhee right up to the stage area. She was still blushing like mad and cursing at Myungsoo for making her the center of attraction when this was his concert. Another staff handed a microphone and she took it, still feeling overwhelmed from all this.

“Hello everyone….” Jinhee kind of squeaked into the microphone and earned some giggles from the crowd. “Hi Myungsoo” She then said while looking directly at him. Half of her wanted to smack his face and the other half wanted to hug him tight and forgive him, as always.

“Everyone, this is chubs. My best friend in the whole wide world.”
