Rant #1

You. I Do My Own .

Idiots Who Comment

Like any other kpop fan, I keep tabs all the time for new news and stories about my favourite idol. But what I really hate is when people leave stupid and mean comments. Like how I always say: If you don't have good to say, THEN SHUT THE UP!

Seriously, you're gonna end up pissing off fans like me.

For example, on allkpop, recently, there has been a "tournament" debating which kpop artist is the better rapper. Then one idiot comes along and goes "I love so-and-so but her rapping is bad."

SERIOUSLY?

Many people adore her rapping skills. Fans love every aspect of them but then you come along and say that you dislike their rapping skills?! THE PEOPLE ASKED YOU TO COMMENT YOU'RE FAVOURITE RAPPER NOT GIVE YOUR ING OPINION ABOUT A CERTAIN ARTIST! You should be lucky that that person's fans aren't coming over to your house to beat you to a pulp.

I've seen these also a lot on Facebook which most of us have and are on. People would post a picture and then they will be comments from s ing off about how bad that person is. WHO THE CARES ABOUT YOU'RE ING OPINION?! YOU DISLIKE THIS ONE IDOL? SO WHAT? WHAT WAS SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU NEEDED TO PUT A NASTY COMMENT THERE FOR OTHERS TO SEE?! That's a mother er move right there.

Then there's YouTube.

Since Red Velvet has come out, the group has recieved nothing but hate comments from f(x) fans once the group debuts.

First of all, their debut was PLANNED WELL AHEAD OF TIME. They were SUPPOSED to debut ANYWAYS whether f(x)'s promotions have been cancelled or not.

Second of all, IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT THAT RED LIGHT PROMOTIONS ENDED EARLY. They're a rookie group. They're just as excited to debut as the fans are waiting for them. But then suddenly, f(x)'s promotions end early but Red Velvet's debut continues, fans decide to blame it on them for no ing reason at all. Tbh, they probably have no idea what's going on. They're just doing what SM is telling them to do. But then the f(ans) come around and blame it on the group but the group has NOTHING to do with f(x)'s promo cut off. Blame the company if you ing will! They're the ones who decided to stop the promos not Red Velvet. THEY'RE INNOCENT.

Third of all, WHY THE HATE? Imagine yourself, in a group with several other people that you're starting to become friends with, trained long and hard for the past year together, all eager to step on stage for the first time but when your MV comes out, you recieve nothing but hate. How does that make you feel? Not only are you not liked, but you're HATED for no ing reason. It's those commenters who bring down the groups spirit as well as hopes and dreams for their future career. It's honestly not fair to them. But it's those idiots who don't learn to think before they act, resulting in unnecessary arguments online.

Then there are the no brainer comments. People who comment bull on the internet that have no logical explanation to back up your statement.

For example, when f(x)'s Red Light teaser medley came out, PEOPLE ARE ALREADY HATING ON THEY'RE SONGS. ARE YOU ING RETARDED?! You've only heard a sample of each song, you've only seen the teaser MV, you've only seen their teaser photos, BUT YOU'RE ALREADY HATING THE ALBUM BEFORE IT COMES OUT?! I saw these comments like a week before the album came out and half of the comments on YouTube were about how much people hated the album. Why do you hate the song? Did you see the full MV yet? Did f(x) do anything to you? The answer has mostly been: I don't know. No. And no. Which means you people have no ing clue what you guys are talking about yet you posted retarded comments online just to get ing attention. These are who I like to call: attention . I don't care if you're a guy or a girl, straight or gay. You do stuff to purposely get attention, you're an attention .

Therefore, my conclusion is, if you don't have anything good to say, learn to SHUT THE UP because no one wants to hear you, see you, or acknowledge any opinions of yours because they're all just plain bull with no logical explanation or reasoning behind them. So if you want to save your sorry asses, KEEP YO ING OPINIONS TO YO ING SELF.

Chapter 12: I guess some people just don't know when to open their minds to the truth and broaden their perspectives. I guess this is why I like Kpop. The people are super friendly, although there are some who seem crazy and problematic (to the point that even I feel worried, even though I'm miles away), and super accepting of one another. Sure, there are some who act immaturely but most are pretty nice. It's nice. They don't judge 'cause we're all in the same boat. :-)
Yeah, I can totally relate with that. During one of my many heated conversations with my best friend about Kpop, an acquaintance of mind butted in, saying, “Yuck. Those people are Kpop-panget.” (Kpop-panget in English basically means, “Kpop-hideous.” It's a rough translation but it's alright.) And still, even as she judged their clothes, their appearances, their language and their entire BEING, we never reprimanded her for it. We told her she was entitled to her own opinion but some words are better kept to herself. She shrugged. (I saw her whispering to her other friends and distinctly heard a few words about Kpop. It makes me sad that people are so quick to judge when they find it annoying or bothersome when they are judged themselves for something.)

You may not care about what I think or what I may have to say, but I support you and all your views in these specific situations. Thank you for (figuratively) help me stay sane after this year of hate in the kpop fandom. It's nice to know there are at least some considerate people around here. Please continue this rant series.

Chapter 1: I don't know if I should comment since there's nothing more to say when you said everything that needed to be said. I totally agree.
I don't comment much on YouTube or allkpop (I stopped going to this site) because all I see when it comes to K-Pop are either bashers, haters, or fans. Even though I'm a fan of the group, when I read the comments (I know... Dumb of me to do that, right?), I feel a bit disappointed that other people don't consider the idols themselves. I know they must've trained years and worked hard so they could debut but they get hate when they actually do. I know they probably don't like the group for some reason but they could at least keep their thoughts to themselves. I know it might be hard for others to do that but still, it would be much more peaceful in the comments if people do. The lesson you stated here is another variation of,"If you have nothing important to say, don't say anything at all."
When I actually do comment, I put a lot of thought to it because sometimes people can misinterpret what I'm trying to say and then start an argument about it.

Sorry for ranting... I just wanted to share my opinion. This really connects to me and I hope to read more of your posts. ^_^ Thank you for sharing!
