Candy Crush
One Shot Dumping Ground[BTS + GOT7]
Yugyeom stood watching his friend, Kunpimook, bob for apples at the party he had been dragged to. He would rather have stayed home, watching tv and relaxing. He didn’t know many people who would be there, but it was fun to watch his friends play games. Right now, Kunpimook was making a fool of himself, getting his face wet. Yugyeom grinned, relishing in his friend’s irritation. Looking around the room, he spotted a large bowl of candy corn. He walked over and peered into the bowl, inspecting all of the different shapes and sizes.
He felt someone’s presence beside him as he reached in and grabbed a handful of candy. Looking up, he almost choked on the piece of candy he had just placed into his mouth. The young man standing before him was absolutely stunning. Yugyeom finally found his voice, grinning at him. “Want some candy?” He wanted to slap himself for not finding something more intelligent to say.
The young man smiled back at him, his nose wrinkling slightly at the bridge. He was adorable. “I can get my own, but thank you,” he replied.
Yugyeom laughed, offering the candy again. “It’s not like I already touched it with my mouth, so it’s safe.” He hoped that his grin wasn’t coming across as idiotic.
The young man laughed, finally holding out his hand to take the candy. “Okay, if you insist. Thank you.” Yugyeom poured the candy into the gorgeous boy’s hands.
“You’re welcome. My name’s Yugyeom, by the way. I haven’t seen you around here,” he decided to start up a conversation with Jungkook.
The young man smiled, looking a bit awkward. “Jungkook. Nice to meet you, Yugyeom,” he replied, popping two of the pieces of candy into his mouth. “Are you here alone?”
Yugyeom shook his head, still smiling. “No. I’m with a few friends.” He motioned over at Kunpimook, who was still unsuccessfully bobbing for apples. “That’s one of them…”
Jungkook grinned, watching him bob for apples. “I won’t even try that…I’d look like an idiot.”
Yugyeom cocked his head, studying Jungkook. “Well…First of all, I doubt you would look any dumber than Kunpimook. I seriously doubt you could look like an idiot…just saying.”
“I can look stupid. Trust me,” Jungkook turned his head as another young man joined them. The other boy looked tired and grouchy, and Yugyeom frowned, figuring that their conversation was over now.
“Hey, Jungkook, Namjoon wants to talk to you,” the grouchy looking guy glanced at Yugyeom.
“Okay. Thanks, Taehyung,” Jungkook turned back to Yugyeom. “Well, I need to go. It was nice meeting you, Yugyeom. I’ll catch you later, okay?”
Yugyeom smiled at him. “Yeah. It was nice talking to you. I’ll see you at school.”
“Okay. I’ll see you later,” Jungkook smiled at him as he was pulled away by Taehyung, leaving Yugyeom to wander back over to his friends.
The next day at school, Jungkook found a bag of candy corn in his desk. He thought it was strange, but he didn’t mind the candy as he munched on it during class. He pulled himself through all of his classes, wishing that the clock would move more quickly than the snail’s pace it was currently crawling by.
When he was on his way to his last class, Jungkook noticed Yugyeom standing at his locker, exchanging books. Putting his head down, he started to walk past him. Yugyeom’s head snapped up and he grinned at Jungkook. “Hey! I’m glad I could catch you. What did you think of the party yesterday?”
Jungkook smiled back at him, staying polite. “It was fun. Thanks for asking,” he thought for a moment, trying to remember the other boy’s name. “…Yugyeom.”
Yugyeom started to walk, but was bumped by one of the older students and lost his balance. His books fell out of his hands, tumbling to the floor. He glanced after the boy who had just bumped him, shaking his head. “He doesn’t even apologize,” he mumbled, gathering his books.
Jungkook frowned, kneeling down to help him pick up the scattered books and papers. “It’s about typical of people like him. Whatever. I wouldn’t worry about it.” He picked up the last notebook and handed it to Yugyeom.
Yugyeom shook his head again, smiling. “Thank you for helping me,” he said, stuffing the books into his backpack. “At least I already put my tablet in my locker. My parents would kill me if I broke or lost it, you know?”
Jungkook grimaced. “Yeah, no kidding. I’ll catch you later. I’m ab
