Kyuhyun sat down the on the sofa next to Sungmin, fidgeting nervously, his eyebrows creased with worry.

"Kyu? What's wrong? You look ... unwell," said Sungmin, hesitantly laying down the book he was reading and moving closer to Kyuhyun, not noticing Kyuhyun's flinches.

"I just ... had something to say to you." Kyuhyun mumbled. Sungmin strained closer.

"You'll have to speak louder, Kyu, I can't hear you," Sungmin replied, staring at the younger boy with a mixture of curiousity and fear.

"I like you. Like, really like. And it's not a phase because I spoke to Heechul and he say's thats how he feels about Hankyung-" here Kyuhyun stopped, looking down. Sungmin stayed silent, staring. No emotion's crossed Sungmin's face, except a big sigh that he let out with a heave.

Never a good sign.

"Sungmin? Say something!" On hearing the sigh, Kyuhyun stood up, and grabbed Sungmin by the arm. Sungmin relucatantly stood up and let himself be dragged to the open window, for it was a warm summer's night.

"I'll give you the whole world, Sungmin, if you can just return my love."

And finally Sungmin spoke. "Kyu, this is ridiculous. This isn't love your feeling, it's just ... you're experimenting."

Kyuhyun had gone white. "B-But .. I thought..."

"You thought those nights we spent together mattered? You think I loved you like you loved me?" Sungmin laughed, a horrible, cynical laugh. "You have got to be kidding me," 

Kyuhyun now had tears forming in his eyes. "Please Sungmin, let me prove this love to you. Don't dash it away like it never mattered!"

"But it didn't, did it?" Sungmin replied, still chuckling under his breath. But Sungmin could see the pain in Kyuhyun's eyes, his Kyuhyun, and he wouldn't let that show, no matter what. "And anyway, I'm not - I'm not gay." Sungmin hissed those words like a curse, an insult, and could see how much it hurt Kyuhyun. "You should go." he added coldly, turning away from the window, shutting the curtain as he did so.

And Kyuhyun did nothing, just let Sungmin walk away.

"Aish! Why was I so stupid?" Kyuhyun buried his head in his hands. Three years on, and he still hadn't got over Sungmin, that pink baby rabbit.

Kyuhyun was sitting on a park bench, his hands covering his eyes from the night. Since that night, he'd become a creatue of the night, roaming in and out of clubs, searching for something, anything to love.

Nothing worked, and that was the sole reason why he'd come back to Seoul, trying to find Sungmin and apologize, and just be with him. It'd be enough to be with him, if he couldn't have him for himself.

And he thought those nights had really meant. Looking up from his hands, Kyuhyun scanned the park for any sign of Sungmin - and there he was.

In the worst possible form.

Sungmin was sitting almost directly opposite him.

Kyuhyun let out a strangled cry. "Thats it. I'm going to whatever it takes to get over Sungmin ... if it kills me."
