It was a warm, sunny and slightly windy morning when I locked that front door for the last time. Throwing the key into the mailbox and then taking a good last look at the house with that apartment that I had called home for the past five years before getting into my old car was all there was left to do. I took my time for it, letting my heart ache for that moment of goodbye because in order to let feelings go you have to allow yourself to feel them fully. 
That's what I had always believed.

Finally sitting in my old station wagon I opened a text message on my phone that I had recieved the day before and I copied the address in it into my navigation app. It wasn't too far from my place, it shouldn't take longer than ten minutes or so. So after one last glance at my old home I left just in time so my eyes couldn't get too wet to drive.

It was still too early in the morning to feel free.

Nothing particular on my mind, I pulled up next to a tall apartment complex a little later, trying to figure out if I had reached my destination. I rolled down my window just as I saw a guy in a checkered shirt exiting the building and putting a large travel bag down infront of him on the sidewalk.

"Excuse me... excuse me? Over here! Hi...could you tell me...am I right here? Is this maybe even from you?“ I held my phone with the text message including the address out of my window.
"Ah... uhm...ah! Are you looking for Yonghwa?“ he replied.
"Uhm...yeah!“ I nodded suprised.
"Well, he's just grabbing the rest of his things... I helped him pack. Uhm, hi, I'm Jonghyun by the way...“ the guy said in a fairly thick Busan accent, flashing a perfectly dimpled smile.

I got out of the car to introduce myself properly to the guy on the sidewalk and we started trying to find space for the huge travel bag in my trunk.
"Ah.. we need to maybe... hm... we still have to fit four guitars in there...“ Jonghyun scratched his head.
"Four?“ I was surprised.
"Yeah... Hyung searched for a ride since he couldn't have taken them all riding the train.“ Jonghyun chuckled a little. He didn't appear to be the naturally comfortable type, seemingly feeling a bit awkward standing on this sidewalk here with me.
"Huh, I see, well we'll find a way“ I smiled. „I have used that uni forum before but that's my first time giving a lift to someone, so maybe I wasn't properly prepared when I simply stuffed my things in there without a system.“
Jonghyun laughed: "Ah...being all too tidy isn't really my thing either.“

Half of my stuff was already out on the sidewalk when I sensed someone looking over my shoulder.

"Nice of you to make space for my things.“

I turned around, looking into a friendly, maybe even playful face, different from the first, slightly shy one I've met. And I wasn't thinking too much as I said "So.. you must be Yonghwa.“ simply introducing myself. 
He was taller than me, flunging his hair out of his face he reveiled his big eyes and an open expression as he held out his hand for me to shake. 

I was relieved.

Hey ^^Anyone out there in need of a ride up to Seoul next weekend? I'm moving so my trunk might be rather full hence I can take either two people with light luggage or one person with a bit more stuff. 
About me: I'm a girl (you might have guessed from my username ^^), in my midtwenties and I gratuated from this university two semesters ago. I have used this board before to get lifts so I thought this might be a good final chance to give back a bit and take someone with me as well – help someone out and help perserving the environment a little, haha. 
So if you're interested, let me know and we'll split the gas bill ^^
