What Would You Do...?
The Many Faces of Love
"What would you do, if I went missing?" Heechul's voice echoed through the room he sat in, petting Heebum. There was no other life in the sparcely furnished living room besides the two figures on the soft red couch. When the cat didn't answer Heechul's question, the man sighed, running a hand through his messy, just passed the shoulder length, black hair and groaned. "Of course, you'd either die of starvation and dehydration, or you'd be smart enough to find another owner."
The man picked the cat up and put it on the floor, making his way to the kitchen. "Too bad humans don't have owners... When the one you love goes missing, you can't just find someone else. And you can't just let yourself die either..." He shook his head and banged his fist on the counter just as someone walked into the door.
"Xi Che, what are you doing?" The man who just entered questioned.
"Hannie!" Heechul's face lit up and he threw his arms around the other man's neck, taking in his scent. "I was worried."
Hankyung chuckled, wrapping his arms around Heechul's waist tightly. "Chullie, I was at work. I told you this morning it would be a late night. You need to stop thinking that I'm not going to come home." He kissed the more feminine male's cheek and sighed.
Heechul stepped back and looked at Hankyung. "I don't like chances." He muttered. "You could leave me for China again."
Hankyung laughed after a moment of silence. "I told you that next time I go to visit my parents, I'll bring you with me." He picked up the lighter man and gently tossed him over his shoulder. "Now, come on it's time for bed."
Heechul faught against the stronger man for a moment and then gave up. When Hankyung carefully 'tossed' Heechul onto the bed, the long-haired man sat up and looked toward Hankyung, glaring and pouting.
Hankyung chuckled and shook his head, changing out of his work clothes and into comfortable sleepwear. When he turned around, his beloved was still pouting and glaring. The Chinese man rolled his eyes and climbed on top of Heechul, causing the thin man to fall onto his back. He kissed Heechul's nose and smiled. "Chullie, what's wrong?"
Heechul's eyes had gotten big as he looked up at Hankyung. His eyes drifted to either side, Hankyung's hands were on either side of Heechul's head. "You know I don't like to be man-handled." His voice had gone from its normal playfullness and become serious.
Hankyung sighed and fell to the side, pulling Heechul close to him. "Chullie, you wouldn't have come to bed otherwise." He mumbled, closing his eyes and snuggling his forehead into the crook of Heechul's neck.
Heechul sighed and looked at the love of his life, biting his lip. "I know. I'm sorry." He turned to where he was facing Hankyung, gently kissing his lips.
Hankyung smiled and nuzzled their noses together before pulling the thin man closer to him. "I'm tired. Sleep now."
Heechul nodded and snuggled into him, both of them forgetting about the blanket being underneath them until Heechul began shivering and Hankyung had to manage to cover both of them up without waking Heechul from his beauty sleep.
