There's Something...

The Many Faces of Love
There was something about the way that Hankyung's fingers traced their way down Heechul's flat stomach that made him melt. There was something about the way that Hankyung smelled that drove Heechul absolutely crazy. There was something about the way Hankyung's lips covered Heechul's when they kissed that left him wanting more. There was something about the tone of voice Hankyung used when in bed that made Heechul's body ached with want, with need. And there was something about the way Hankyung said those three words that made Heechul trust the man with his entire being: his mind, body, soul, and even his heart.

Heechul hadn't always been so loving. Oh no, not by a long shot. He had always been so controlling. He hadn't known what a true friend was, or even what love actually felt like. He was Kim Heechul, what did he need those things for? That's what he used to tell himself until he met the one person who changed his mind, and life, forever.

Hankyung didn't take Heechul's tantrums. He didn't give Heechul the satisfcation of getting into his head. Hankyung let Heechul's rude comments and empty insults just go passed him. He ignored Heechul for the longest time, until the time neither of them could forget.

Heechul may have been quick witted, but nothing prepared him for the kiss Hankyung had planted on his lips the night of their senior prom outside behind where the dance was taking place.

Of course, on the surface, despite the constant ingoring by Hankyung and incessant insults from Heechul, the two seemed to be friends. That's what Heechul's friends were: insult receivers. The two were always together during school hours, mostly because Heechul had become intrigued by how the other male could just ignore him when everyone else ran away crying or tried to attack.

But that kiss.

That kiss.

Neither could forget that kiss.

Oh they tried, of course. They tried their hardest, but it was no use. After senior prom, Heechul's insults became even less effective than before and became soft toward the Chinese man.

And three years later, Heechul just thinks to himself that there's something about Hankyung that he can't live without...

And that something...

Is everything about the man he shares a life with, a house with, shares a room with, shares a bed with...
Heechul realizes this just as Hankyung rolls over and throws an arm around his waist, causing Heechul to laugh slightly at the man he still calls an idiot on a daily basis, just after he says he loves him.

Chapter 7:

The way you use vivid details is something to marvel at. I so easily pictured Heechul and Hangeng crashing through the hallway, Siwon nearly being knocked over. Sometimes you read things and believe it's happening bc that's what the text says is happening. With your work I believe it's happening bc I can so clearly see it all occurring!!

Chapter 6:

this chapter really warmed my heart so much. I can just see Hangeng returning from China and the emotions Heechul would go through. The last line reminded me of the video of Heechul and Hangeng in their dorm, Hangeng packing for China, where Heechul tried to sit in Hangeng's suitcase <3 I miss them together

Chapter 5:

LOL at Heechul nailing Hangeng with a pillow then asking if it hurt!!! lol!!

Heechul rolled his eyes at the dongsaeng in the doorway. "Maybe you should learn to knock." He glared. "You are my least favorite, you know that?"

^ I don't know why I found this part so amusing but I couldn't stop laughing!
