Eun Seo’s POV

Taeyong was already getting ready to punch Soonyoung when I interfered between them.

-       “ Please don't hurt him! “. I said as I stretched my arms to protect Soonyoung. “ Hit me instead. Not him “. Since when I was so brave to stand up for someone?

I could see that everyone around me was shocked about my statement. I shouldn’t have said that… but it felt right, it felt… nice.

-       “ Yah Taeyong-ah! “. Someone shouted.

All of us turned toward the owner of the voice. It was the guy I met on my first day! What was his name again? Ah! Sungjoo, that was his name.

He walked toward us along with other four guys.

-       “ Didn’t your parents teach you to not get into fights? “. Sungjoo paused as he looked at me. “ Especially with a girl? “.

-       “ That’s not an excuse to cause a fight “.

-       “ What the hell are you doing here anyways? “. Hansol interfered, kind of annoyed by his presence.

-       “ To save this moron and the pretty girl “. He pointed at Soonyoung and me with his chin. I couldn’t help but to blush by his comment.

-       “ Excuse me? Moron ? “. Soonyoung exaggeratedly asked with a bit of hurt in his voice.

-       “ Anyways, get out of this. We don’t want trouble in school. I’m having a headache and you know how I act when I have a headache “. Sungjoo said with a frown of seriousness.

I saw Taeyong tightening his jaw and his eyes landed on me.

-       “ Fine… “. He said before he started to walk away. Soon, s followed him behind. Hansol glared at all of us before he stormed off.

I took a deep breath as I held onto my chest. I guess I was holding my breath too much.

-       “ Thanks hyung. You saved us “. Soonyoung said.

-       “ Yah you idiot. You own me. I always have to save your , man! “.

-       “ First of all, I’m not an idiot. Second… I will own you with something bigger one day. Just save it. It’s a free coupon “. Soonyoung said as he patted Sungjoo’s shoulder. Sungjoo laughed and patted Soonyoung’s shoulder as well.

-       “ Don’t get any trouble man. I want peace “.

-       “ Yes, sir “. Soonyoung saluted before grabbing my wrist. “ See you later! “. Then both of us walked away.

-       “ Where are you taking me? “.

-       “ Somewhere that people doesn’t know that it exist “. He said with a smile.

Soonyoung’s POV

We arrived at my secret place. It was a place where Ga Yoon and I used to go for our dates or simply skipping classes when we were bored. Another excuse so we can see each other. It was the school’s old garden room, which Ga Yoon and I cleaned and decorated with Ga Yoon’s favorite flowers and I made the benches so we could sit on there. I glanced at Eun Seo and gave her a smile before opening the door, standing at a side so she could enter in. She was hesitating in entering at first, but I encouraged her by slightly pushing her inside. Once we were inside, I closed the door while Eun Seo was slowly walking around the place, admiring the healthy and fresh flowers that I water every Saturday or in the times I want to be alone.

-       “ Wow… “. Eun Seo said as she turned around, looking surprised by the place. “ It’s beautiful “.

-       “ You think? “. I asked. Eun Seo was the second girl and the only person I let in the place. I didn’t let anyone to enter this place, especially my members. But in Eun Seo’s case, it was because I really like her. I saw her nodding while bending down and smelling the daisies, Ga Yoon’s favorites. I couldn’t help but to smile and I sat on the bench while admiring her. “ Do you like flowers? “.

-       “ Hmm “. She nodded as she turned to look at me. I swear that she had the most beautiful eyes in the world, full of pureness and kindness.

-       “ Which ones are your favorites? “. I asked.

-       “ Mm… I like all kinds… But my favorites are roses and the cherry blossoms “.

-       “ I see “. I nodded in understanding.

I saw her standing up and then walking toward me before sitting next to me.

-       “ Can I ask you something? “. She asked.

-       “ Sure “.

-       “ Why are you so nice to me? “.

-       “ What do you meant? “.

-       “ You are always helping, being kind toward me, and also saving me from difficult situations. You are… different from those guys “.

-       “ Really? “. I softened hearing that. Finally someone was seeing my real side.

She nodded and then I chuckled, looking down while playing with my fingers.

-       “ Would it sounds weird if I say that I’m nice to you because I care about you? “.

-       “ Excuse me? “. She blinked in confusion, not understanding what I was saying.

-       “ I care about you, Eun Seo. You are different from other girls and the aura you have is kind of familiar to me. Like I want you safe from danger “.

-       “ Oh… well… thanks for helping me though “. She said with a slight smile. My heart skipped a beat when I saw her smiling. It was the first time I saw her smiling and I was glad that I was able to feel her like that.

-       “ No problem. Besides, I don’t hate you. You can be comfortable with me “.

-       “ Okay then “. Eun Seo nodded.

We talked to know each other. I learned a lot about her. Her likes, hobbies, and the things she didn’t like. She also told me about her life in the US and that terrible accident that caused the death of her parents. I felt pitiful toward her since she was leaving alone in Seoul while suffering from bullying because of Seventeen and SR14B. I felt sorry for not being able to stop my members from mocking her and somehow I was disgust with myself for in such a gang like that. I also told her about what happened to me when I was young, excluding the story between Taeyong and me. I also told her the story of Ga Yoon and how she died. I saw her sad expression. It was like was feeling pity toward me.

-       “ It must have been hard for you “. She said. I slightly chuckled while looking down.

-       “ It was. But not as hard as yours “. I said as I looked at her. “ You’ve been through a lot “.

-       “ Same goes to you “.

I just stared at her and I tried so hard to not take advance toward her. Just staring at her soft pink lips, I had the feeling of wanting to taste them. I cleared my throat and glanced at the time in my wristwatch.

-       “ Maybe I should take you back to class “. I said as I stood up. I held out my hand to help her in standing up. She hesitantly grabbed my hand and we walked out of the place, our hands intertwined.

I couldn’t help but to blush a little by the warmness of her hand. It perfectly fit in mine and I didn’t want to let it go for a second. We were slowly walking on the corridors until we arrived at her locker. She let of my hand and opened her locker. I felt disappointed when the warmness of her hand was gone. As soon she got her backpack, I followed her until we arrived in front of her classroom. I was waiting for her to enter in, but she was just staring at the window.

-       “ What’s wrong? “. I asked in concern.

-       “ I-I don’t want to go in there “.

-       “ Why not? “.

I saw her gulping while staring at the window in fear. Puzzled, I followed her gaze and I understood what she was meaning. There was that boy from SR14B, Mark along with Jaehyun.
