3:04 am. The vibrant light of the clock blared into Jihee’s eyes making her wince. Cold air had swept through the house, leaving Jihee sleepless in shivering covers. Kyungsoo, on the other hand, slept easily next to her; he did not seem to feel the weather as she did. Jihee laid in the bed, tugging the covers over herself, but the cold still contained her. Another sleepless night to think about all the bad decisions she had made and is going to make. Perfect.

She turned and moved closer to Kyungsoo’s body in an attempt to get warmer. My hands are so cold, she thought to herself. She rested them on Kyungsoo’s bare arms as she lay, staring at the ceiling. Humans are so stupid, she gruffed to herself, I mean being too hot or too cold, and allergies; I swear our bodies are trying to kill us.

Slowly, Kyungsoo shifted next to her. He groaned and opened his eyes.

"Your hands are freezing" he moaned to her. Jihee quickly removed her hands from his arm only for him to pull her closer and wrap his arms around her.

"You can go to sleep now" he whispered as he rested his head in the crook of her neck.
