The Talk and their Decisions
The Price of LoveAs soon as the redhead entered his room, they both fell silent. The tensions was heavier than it was before. He shouldn't have allowed Mark to leave them alone.
But maybe, it was for the best.
Now that he actually thought about it, Mark did have a point. He was caught in this tug-of-war with Jackson, and it was understandable for the tall redhead to feel frustrated with them.
Jinyoung knew Jackson way too much. Would they really throw their friendship away? Would they fight over someone and would end up destroying their long-term friendship?
"Jackson- Look, man. I'm sorry, really sorry. This was all my fault."
"No, man. I'm sorry. I asked for this, this was all my fault." Jackson responded.
"So, are we good?" He asked, letting his hand out. They shook hands and patted each other's backs.
"Are we really going to do this?" His best friend asked. Were they really?
"I don't know, man." Jinyoung sighed and shrugged in his seat.
"Do you- Do you really like Mark?"
Now, that was a big question to ponder on. Did he really like Mark? In a sense that he wanted to be in an exclusive relationship with the redhead?
"Because honestly, I'm not sure." Jackson said, though that didn't surprise him that much. It was natural for his best friend to have these untouched feelings for Min. Seeing her again probably rekindled some of those feelings.
But wait, was Jinyoung sure himself? He kept telling himself that he wanted to protect Mark, to be always by his side. But, was that it? What if he just wanted to act like an older brother for him? What if he was just infatuated with the redhead's kindness?
This was really frustrating.
He felt so sure before, but now-
He only had eyes for Mark, up to the point that he acted irrational. Were his feelings even true? He had to know.
Mark was too precious to get hurt.
"I'll talk to Min, to clear things up."
"What about Mark?" Jackson pursed his lips together and fell silent. "I'm not so sure myself either."
"What are we going to do?"
"Okay, how about this? You go talk to Min, and I'll confirm my own feelings. That way, we could know what we really feel. Is that okay?" Jackson sighed.
"What about Mark?"
"He musn't know about this. We should focus on ourselves first. Clear our minds from everything."
"What if he misunderstands our actions?"
"That's why he shouldn't see us. That way, he wouldn't suspect a thing." Jackson frowned. "Look, if we really want Mark, we shouldn't be confused right now. We need to know our true feelings as soon as possible."
It seemed that Jackson was finally convinced.
"I guess that's the only way." His best friend said, slouching. "I'll talk to Min tomorrow."
"Okay, I'll do my best tomorrow too. Once we are really sure, we explain everything to Mark." Jackson silently nodded.
Maybe this was for the best. But, as the back of Jinyoung's mind, was a voice. Shouting that this was a bad idea.
I'm sorry, Mark. But please, wait for us. We just need to be sure about ourselves. Please, wait for us.

As what he said yesterday, Jackson invited Min to have lunch together. Maybe Jinyoung was right. They should double check their feelings first.
That was better, right? Better be honest, than fool yourself.
"So, what do you want?" He asked. Min pouted her lips. Tha
