Flu was never fun. Onew hated being sick. He hated breaking out in cold sweat; taking medicine and not being able to perform with the rest of the SHINee members. It was Jonghyun who first contracted H1N1. Then, somehow he was attacked by the virus too.

The rest of the members were instructed to stay away from him so as to prevent the transmission. He lay on the bed, awfully lonely. He missed Jonghyun’s laughter; Minho’s profound words; Taemin calling him “hyung”; and mostly, Key’s earsplitting “Aigoo”.

“AIGOO!” That familiar voice. The medicine was working too well on him. Onew was feeling the drowiness.

“AIGOO!” Again. Was the medicine so strong that it caused hallucination?

“AIGOO!” This time it was loud and clear, and right into his ears. “Why is he sleeping without blanket?!”

Then warmth engulfed him as a thick layer of cloth was placed over his body. Onew couldn’t lift the heavy eyelids and continued drifting to a faraway land. He had a beautiful dream.
