"I'm so sorry! I really didn't mean to..." as i picked up his things from the ground, he suddenly held my chin up with his two fingers and simply looked into my eyes with great surprise...

"I, I never thought we would meet again... Rosie..." I suddenly froze in shock and a single tear spilled down my cheek with my heart beating furiously. How could this be Happening? Am I dreaming? Has he really returned like he said he would? 

It has been 2 years since he was gone. He went away for war to fight in Nigeria,  but before he left he told me that he would return. I tried to believe it even though in my heart I doubted it. But he did, he returned to me, he kept his promise...

I've tried forgetting him, but it never seemed to work. I tried to move on but I always had him in my mind, occupying my thoughts whenever I just managed to forget, but he returned, so there's no need for that anymore, he's finally with me, forever, right?
