April 18th, 2008 -

"Krystal....why did you leave me here all alone!? Screw your scary sister I'm freakin' lost somewhere in Seoul!!" I said quietly to myself, looking up at the clear blue sky. Not even this beautiful Spring weather could make my frustration lessen. Here I was, lost in the biggest city in South Korea and knowing barely any Korean without having a charged cellphone to call for help. Of course this was happening to me.

 Krystal just had to find it necessary to go help out her sister for her photoshoot even though I was stuck here. I looked over to my side and saw a boy standing at a bus-stop listening to music on his headphones. He looked somewhere around my age, but was at least a foot taller than me. Is he a giant? Well, here it goes...

"Ummm, anyeonghaseyo. Joesonghamnida. Ummm....jeoneun hangugeo jal motamnida. SM Entertainment-e garyeomyeon eotteoke haeya hamnikka? [Ummm, hello. I am sorry. Ummm...I don't know Korean well. Do you know how to get to the SM Entertainment building?]"

"Erm....anyeonghaseyo?" I face-palmed myself, the boy looking at me awkwardly. Who cares if I look crazy, I already look like an idiot as it is.

"Dammit!! Here I thought my pronounciation was getting better...." I quietly mumbled in English.

He chuckled at my silliness and said "You sounded like a Korean in my opinion."

"Thanks, you know I'm new here and....oh my god!" I looked back over at him, my eyes wide in shock. "How did you know what I said?"

"I'm Canadian, so English is easy for me." He grinned at me, causing me to blush a bit from embarrasment.

"Yes! I'm not alone!" I put a fist in the air, feeling accomplished. He laughed at my silliness, raising his fist in the air for a second. "I'm from LA in America so we're like English twins now! You have no idea how great it is to meet someone who can understand me."

He raised an eyebrow, putting a hand underneath his chin, appearing as if he were analyzing me. "You said you were from SM?"

"Yeah, I am a new trainee actually. I got here a month ago."

"That's awesome. I'm a trainee too."

"Oh, I never introduced myself. Here, my name is Amber." I held out my hand as he happily shook it.

"Kris. It's nice to meet you."

"Do you know the way back to the apartments?"

"Sure, follow me. Ladies first." He signalled me to go forward with his hands.

 Before I took a step towards him, I hesitated. "Wait, don't you have to go somewhere?" I didn't want to ruin his plans. He must have been at this bus stop for a reason.

 "No, you're fine. I had no plans really so it's all good."

 "Are you sure?" He nodded, giving me a quick thumbs up. Then, he began walking me back to the apartments.

 This was my first time meeting Kris Wu.

 December 3rd, 2010 -

 "Gege ~~ [Big Brother ~~ *Chinese*] . Are you sure I look alright?"

 "Yes, Tao, you look fine." Kris said, giving me a stern pat on the back. Even with his assurance that my hair was fine, I kept brushing it with my fingers. This would be the first time that I meet everyone in SM Entertainment. Not only would trainees be attending this Christmas party, but all of the SM idols too. Super Junior, TVXQ/DBSK, Girl's Generation, f(x), and many others would be here. I know they are just human beings like me, but I still couldn't help but feel very excited so looking my best would be completely necessary.

 "Alright, let's do this!!" I yelled, walking out of the Men's Bathroom with Kris.

 "Yah ~~ why do you have to yell?" Kris chuckled, putting his hands over his ears.

 "Oh, sorry." I said sheepishly, Kris ruffling my hair. "Not now! Oh no, my hair!" I quickly pulled out my iPhone and used it as a mirror while I fixed my hair. As I did so, Kris couldn't help but laugh at me. Bastard.

 I looked around and saw a tiny tom-boyish girl walking towards us. It wasn't hard to figure out who she was. There was only one idol like her in Korea - Amber Liu.

 "Come on guys! You're gonna miss out on the cake!!" she whined, jumping up and down. I looked over at Kris, whose once cold demeanor quickly vanished from sight. This always would happen when Amber-nim was around.

 "Oh yes! I'm sorry." He put a hand behind his head, looking down at the floor, guilty.

 "No, no! It's fine. It's just that this llama wants cake is all!!" She giggled, taking both of our hands. "Now come on ~~ ." Kris and I couldn't help but blush, she was acting so childish and cute that it was almost heart-warming. Amber began dragging us toward the cake table.

 Most the idols are pretty reserved and quiet, especially with trainees. It is actually even worse if you are Chinese. They never knew if we quite understood them or not, so they just tend to stay away from us. However, Amber was always different. No matter what, she always put effort into meeting the trainees. She was always the center of attention it seemed, as if the spotlight couldn't help but have preference towards her. I couldn't think of one person who disliked her. No matter how hard one might try to avoid her or dislike her, our SM social butterfly would defy your intentions.

 The best example would be Kris and Amber. They've been best friends since way before I came here a few months ago. Whenever Amber was near or on the phone or even when her damn name was mentioned, Kris' attitude would change. It was obvious since day one when I met him he loved her. Once I asked what his name was, Amber came running in and jumped on his back. He was cold and aloof to me at first, but all of a sudden was so warm with Amber that I couldn't recognize him. Whether Amber loved him back or noticed his actions were unknown. Everyone tends to think not since she never acknowledges it and when anyone asks her, she denies it instantly and says they are only good friends.

 Eventually, Kris warmed up to me and I realized he was just awkward with people. It didn't take me long to look up to him. His calm and cool personality I think is what had drawn me towards him. At first, I was terribly jealous of Amber because she took away any attention towards me from Kris. He was always to happiest when he was around her. Amber always came first in his mind, and as Kris was my mentor and closest friend here in Korea, I wanted her to just disappear. Though, once I really met her and began talking with her, I was instantly drawn towards her and wanted her to like me. Any ill thoughts about her immediately left me. I could see why Kris loved her. She became my friend in mere seconds.

 Even though she would take him away from me, I couldn't help but like her.

February 14th, 2011 -

KRIS: Hey, are you still awake?

AMBER: Sadly, damn imsomnia.

KRIS: Are you busy?

AMBER: No, why??

KRIS: Meet me at the bus stop by the ice cream shop, ya know the one where we met.

AMBER: Why now, it's like eleven at night??

KRIS: Just do it....it's very important.

AMBER: Fine, I'll be there in ten.

KRIS: Thanks.

AMBER: You better be, you're lucky you're my best friend.

 I put my phone back in my pocket, happy with our texts. Today, well tonight, was Valentine's Day. I had been planning this for a while now and had asked all of the EXO trainees their views on my idea. Everything was going to be perfect and Amber would finally be mine. It exhausted me the way other male idols would talk to her and flirt with her, especially the way Amber didn't seem to notice. I've been waiting far too long to do this. The girl of my dreams has been by my side for years now and still I hadn't the confidence to ask her the five words I've been dying to say to her; 'Will you be my girlfriend?' . Tonight, that would all change....I hope.

 After a few more minutes, I saw Amber walking towards me, her hands around her arms in an attempt to warm them up. Soon enough, she caught up with me.

 "It better be good, it's pretty cold out here."

 "Why are you only wearing a long sleeve shirt? Do you want to die of frost bite. Here, take my jacket."

 She shook her head no "No, I'm not doing that to you. I'm fine."

 "Take it."

 "No."

 "Please?" I had to plead a bit to get her to accept and stop being so stubborn.

 "Fine."

 "Thank you."

 "No problem. Why am I out here again?"

 "I have something I need to ask you." I took off my coat and put it over Amber's shoulders. As I was much bigger than Amber was, it almost looked like she was wearing a cloak "I've been waiting far too long to ask this."

 "Alright, what is it?" She asked, putting a smile on her face. I blushed a tad bit, her innocence killing me.

 "Amber, will you be my girlfriend?" Her eyes widened in shock, not expecting the words I said just now. I wanted to hide in a hole in fear of her saying no, but I found myself looking into her eyes with sincerity. I couldn't back away, especially now. I wanted....no needed her in my life. She was my life for god's sake. Everything, since the first day I met her, has been about her. I loved her. She had stolen my heart before I had even noticed it.

 "Kris...." I put my hands on her shoulders, preparing myself for what she had to say. "Yes, I will." I saw her tear up a bit, grinning with joy. My face instantly lit up and I felt as if my life was complete. Immediately, I embraced her, feeling unmistakable tears running from my eyes. She hugged me back, giggling a bit.

 "Thank you." I said quietly, ending the embrace to look straight into her eyes. I took a small black box out my jean's pocket and gently picked up a heart shaped diamond necklace. I put it on her carefully, and once it was on her I relished in the fact how perfect it looked on her. "I promise, I will always be there for you, no matter what. I love you, Amber Liu."

 "I love you too, Kris Wu." I couldn't wait anymore, so before the blink of an eye I moved my lips to her soft, irresistable ones. Finally, I could know how they tasted and felt against mine. This was our first kiss that wouldn't end for a few more minutes, as it slowly got more passionate. Once we stopped for desperately needed air, I could see snow beginning to fall.

 My love, Amber Liu, was now mine.

 Recent Day:

 "Amber! Amber!!" I heard banging on my bedroom door, making me toss around in my bed.

 "What!?" I quietly groaned, annoyed someone was taking away my precious sleep. This is what I get for going to bed late last night, I should have figured.

 "Get out here right now!! Quickly!!" I recognized that voice to be Luna's. Taking my sweet time, I got up from my bed and walked out into our dorm's livingroom.

 "What is it?" I asked, yawning. Whatever their reason to be waking me up better be good. I noticed their eyes were glued to the tv. Did they call me out for nothing? I looked over at the show they were watching and saw it was Korean MTV.

 "It has just been confirmed today as the news sprung out this morning....Kris Wu, member of the highly acclaimed SM Entertainment group EXO has departed from the group. The reasons are unclear as of now, so once our news team gets word we'll let you know." This wasn't true, was it? He would have told me and something has to be wrong here. They must be talking about someone else, maybe Tao by mistake because he missed home or Sehun because he couldn't handle the obsessed sasaeng fans. They showed a picture of Kris' face on the tv, making me panic even more.

 "Amber?" Luna looked over at me, Victoria getting up from the couch. I had nothing to say. Hell, I didn't even know what to say. Before they could comfort me, I ran to my room and locked the door. Quickly, I grabbed a pair of skinny jeans and a shirt and put my fingers through my hair to make it look less messy. I could hear them knocking at my door, calling my name, but comfort isn't what I wanted. What I wanted was for this to be a misunderstanding. I heard my phone vibrating and saw Krystal calling me. She must have saw the brodcast too. Though, I didn't pick up for her. I had to find Kris, this couldn't be true. I opened up my door and quickly walked to the front door.

 "I'll be back in a bit, I need to see Kris."

 "Wait, Amber!" I heard Victoria yell, but I closed the door before she could talk to me further.

 I began running to SM's Male dorms. I thought I saw a few people looking at me weirdly and maybe recognizing me, but I didn't care at this point. Kris was the only thing on my mind.

 Once I got to Exo's Dorm, I instantly began banging on their front door in the hallway.

 "Hello? What are you doing up at seven?" Suho greeted at me, running a hand through his hair. I walked past him, not being able to say a word with this painful lump in my throat. "Amber? Are you alright?" His kindness made the hot, burning feeling on the back of my neck and face worse.

 "I need to see Kris." I simply stated.

 "Why now, it is so early? You do realize we don't get sleep as it is with our comeback 'OVERDOSE', right? Is something wrong?"

 "Where is Kris? Is he in his room?" I asked, walking up the stairs and up to his dorm room.

  Alarmed, Suho followed me up the stairs. "Amber! Ya, Amber!!" he yelled.

 I knocked on Kris' bedroom door, not getting an answer. Not wanting to waste more time, I grabbed the doorknob and began twisting it. Dammit, it was locked.

 "Kris!!" I yelled, still not getting a response. Tears began flooding my eyes and drowning my face. I felt like dying right now as the last pieces of my hope for him staying were quickly withering away.

 "Amber, please quiet down. Everyone is sleeping. Tell me, what's going on?" Suho tried to get my attention, but failed at doing so. We heard a yaw behind us so Suho and I both turned around to see who it was. Tao stood their, scratching his head and squinting at Suho.

 "What's going on?" he asked, his voice still groggy. Tao looked over at me and noticed my panicked, intense expression. "Amber? What's wrong?" He instantly walked over to me.

 "Help me." I begged, not knowing what else to say. Tao looked at the door in front of me and pushed me next to him instantly. All of a sudden, Tao raised his leg and kicked Kris door, making a loud noise and opening the door instantly. We all walked in and saw Kris' bed...empty. It was perfectly set and looked as if no one had slept in it. All of his things were gone; posters, books, stuffed toys, etc. I ran over to his drawers and saw nothing was in them. Not even a sock or a hoodie or a damn hat. I looked around the room, desperately trying to find something he left behind.

 Then, my eyes landed on something on his bed. It was a picture frame. I picked it up and saw it was a picture of us, the one we took around the time we first met. I fell to my knees, holding onto the picture as tightly as I could. I could feel Suho and Tao stare at me, confused and shocked.

 Kris....why'd you leave without saying goodbye?

KRIS!?!?!?

 It actually broke my heart writing this chapter, especially the Valentine's Day and Recent ones. I almost started to cry. I usually HATE flashbacks in stories, but this one I found necessary to write and I am so sorry if you had to put up with it. The next chapter will be up soon.
