Leo scowled as the song that had been repeating over and over in his head for weeks started up again. It wasn’t even the full song, just a small part of it. He didn’t recall the lyrics either, just the music. It was……beyond frustrating. He could not remember what the blasted song was called, but he knew as soon as he figured it out the song would stop. That’s always how it worked, right? Once you figured out what the song was it stopped playing in your head.

“Hyung?” Hyuk asked, looking up from his book when the older punched the wall beside him, “what’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” Leo muttered, feeling a little embarrassed by his outburst.

“Has to be something,” Hyuk muttered, but went back to his book none the less.

Only ten minutes later, Leo let out a small sigh and turned to Hyuk.

“Hyuk,” he said, “the past couple of days I’ve been thinking of this tune. I can’t place it and it’s….”

“Frustrating?” Hyuk flashed the elder a sympathetic look, “what’s the tune?”

Leo hummed the melody that had been playing in his head the past several days before turning to Hyuk, hoping that the other could figure out what the song was with the little bit of information he had been given.

“Oh!” Hyuk smiled before rushing over to his laptop, “that sounds like….” Hyuk trialed off as he searched for something. A moment later, the song that had been repeating in Leo’s head started to play – this time as a complete song.

“How did you know the song?” Leo questioned, moving to sit beside Hyuk so that he could see the song title himself.

“It’s the newest opening song for One Piece,” Hyuk smiled, “you must have overheard it the last time Ken hyung was watching an episode.”

A/N: the ending is kind of ty, but *shrug* hard theme, no idea what to do, so it’s better than nothing. Don’t you hate it when you’ve got a song playing in your head that you can’t place? Or is it worse when you know the song and you just can’t stop your mental MP3 from playing it. Happened to me during one of my final exams. I could not get Girls Generation’s ‘Mr Mr’ to stop repeating in my head and it wasn’t even the full song.
