Halloween: Ravi’s favourite time of year. Well … it used to be his favourite anyway. That was until he got roped into joining his Hakyeon-hyung for a themed costume. He only agreed with the elder because his hyung had been looking sad ever since Taekwoon had an accident at football club and hurt his leg.

Wonshik had wanted to go as a caterpillar; he’d even gone as far as asking his noona to help him cut out lime green splotches to sew onto his dark green sleeping bag. It had been his Jaewhan hyung’s idea and he couldn't wait to show the blonde boy the costume he was proud of. But that wasn’t going to happen.

            “Binnie, stop it!” Hakyeon was already red in the face from shouting at the younger boy and had just about had enough of trying to stop the bean messing up his ruffled skirt.

            “But it’s soooooo puffy,” Hongbin complain as Sanghyuk joined in pulling on the material as well.

            “Are you serious?” An enraged cry left the eldest boy before he rolled his eyes and moved onto his next target; Wonshik. The little boy stood on the spot; petrified as his hyung started to litter his hair with the bows he was tortured with last week.

            “Hyung, don’t you think Wonshikkie would look better in this?” Wonshik couldn’t help but glare at his blonde hyung who was holding a hairband with cat ears on tightly in his grip. Before he could blink, the bows were removed from his hair and the ears attacked causing everyone around, even baby Hyuk, to squeal at his cuteness.

            “Perfect, we all look perfect.”

Taekwoon was happy to be back. Wiggling around in the back of the car and squeezing his favourite lion plushie, Taekwoon hummed to himself; missing his mother’s surprised eyes in the mirror. The short drive seemed to take a lot longer to the baby who was anticipating seeing all his friends again. Taekwoon wouldn’t admit it to their faces, but he loved all his friends, especially his Hakyeon, and couldn’t wait to see them again after he’d missed a week and a half of school.

Even though it was Halloween soon and Luna had said the children could dress up, Mrs Jung hadn’t managed to convince her son to dress up. She’d bought him a lion onesie but the young boy was having nothing of the sort. He went as far, after his sisters had spent the day before plastering his face with make-up, as dressing down – in a grey shirt and black trousers. Mrs Jung couldn’t help but smile to herself how alike he was to her stubborn husband.

Finally, after what seemed like a life-time, the nursery appeared round the corner and Taekwoon let out a squeal much like a noise Jaewhan would produce. Nearly forgetting about his leg, Taekwoon sprung up from his seat whilst his mother hurried to help him out and grab the toddler sized walking sticks to help the footballer walk. Mrs Jung helped Taekwoon to stand before heading towards the nursery, laughing when she saw Hakyeon and all of Taekwoon’s other friends pressed up against the windows with the noses squashed like little piggies.

            “Morning Taekwoon-ah!” Luna exclaimed as she opened the door and helped the little boy shuffle inside. “Why don’t you go ahead and play whilst I talk to your mummy?” With that, Taekwoon nodded and headed off to find the others. He stopped in his tracks though when he was met with his friends, standing in a line in front of him dressed as none other than the ‘Wonder Girls’. A shriek left his lips as he turned and ran, well hobbled, towards the other children dressed as somewhat more … normal Halloween creatures.

            “TAEKKIE!” Taekwoon didn’t need to know it was Hakyeon who was shouting after him. Due to his leg, he didn't make it very far before the others galumphed him and he ended up in a pile on the floor.

            “You’re back,” Jaewhan shouted as he gripped his favourite hyung (not that he was supposed to have a favourite) and pulled him into a hug.

            “Hyung!” Hyukbin smiled until they registered the annoyance on the elders face and took that as a queue to scrambled off of him. Their socked feet slid across the floor as the scuttled to the other side of the nursery and hid under the wings of the ‘exo’ boys.

That left Jaewhan, Wonshik and Hakyeon faffing around Taekwoon; well Wonshik was sitting at the side, jealous of all the love the footballer was getting from his Jaewhan hyung. Having had enough of all the cheek prodding and squishing the other was getting, Wonshik crawled forward, his knees scratching along the floor and against the netting in the skirt, and poked his elbow into Jaewhan’s ribs.

            “Ravi-ah?” Wonshik nodded before taking a hold of Jaewhan’s hand and pulling him away from Neo and outside to play with his favourite digger toy in the sandpit.

            “Taekkie? What do you think?” Hakyeon asked, twirling on the spot and batting his eyelashes. Taekwoon was left rather gobsmacked by his best friend.  “Taekkie?” He could only nod in agreement with a prominent blush on his cheeks as the elder pouted cutely in his face.

            “Cute,” he muttered before placing his hands over his face in embarrassment. Silence met his ears and the football player was about to look up at the elder until he was tackled into a hug that knocked the air out of his lungs in one forceful squeeze. “Can’t breathe!” He wheezed and pounded a fist against Hakyoen’s back in an attempt to get the other off him … and failed.

            “Awwww, I do love you Taekkie,” Hakyeon sighed dreamily before skipping off to find his babies and see if their costumes were still in check. Taekwoon stayed sat still in the chair in a daze; not really understanding what was going on. He stayed there for a few moments, lost in thoughts of colouring and playing football again, with Hakyeon this time, until a shrill squeak of ‘KIM WONSHIK’ came from the playground and said toddler came flying through the doors away from a red-faced, angry Hakyeon following behind brandishing hairpins with sparkly bows attached to the end.

Sorry it took me so long to write another chapter but I've been so busy with college and just been on holiday for a week! Thank you for those who have stayed and are still supporting this fic and all the little baby Vixxs.
