“Your name’s too tricky to say.” Upon hearing the somewhat harsh statement, Jaewhan looked up from where he was making daisy chains to see who he could only call the Hyukbin duo looking down on him. Being relatively new to the daycare centre, Jaewhan still hadn’t learnt all the childrens’ names but some had stuck in his mind. He’d heard the two little boys in front of him being called ‘Hyukbin’ often so he’d have to stick to that for the time being.

            “What?” Jaewhan asked slightly confused.

            “I said your name’s too hard for Hyukkie to say.” The older of the two boys stated grumpily whilst pointing at the younger who was apparently called Hyuk. That must mean the other was named along the lines of Hongbin ... or was it Hongbean?

            “Oh uh ... I’m sorry.”

            “You should be ... look.” Hongbin or bean, whatever, then pointed to the baby next to him. “Show him.”

            “Chaewam!”

            “No Hyukkie, it’s Jaewhan and hyung to you as well!”

            “Chaewam!” The look of concentration and frustration painted on Hyuk’s face was adorable and Jaewhan couldn’t help but laugh as the baby’s eyebrows pulled together.

            “We should change your name.” Jaewhan’s smile dropped as he thought that this Hongbean was rather bossy. He didn’t want to change his name, in fact he quite like it. It had a nice ring to it and it wasn’t too hard to say. Maybe the baby just needed some help?

            “But my mummy gave me this name!”

            “Well tough! Now what to call you? Hyukkie, what do you think?” Pouting, Jaewhan watched the baby as his eyes scanned the room, oblivious to anything Hongbean was saying.

            “Ken!” Hyuk screeched before diving towards Kyungsoo who had a doll in his arms. Hongbean rolled his eyes and sighed before turning to Jaewhan with a dramatic look.

            “It looks like your new name is Ken then. Not what I would’ve chosen but what Hyukkie says goes,” Jaewhan couldn’t help but think Hyukbin sounded like an old married couple.

            “But I’m nothing like that doll,” Jaewhan tried to protest but it didn’t seem to have any effect on the other.

            “Well you have blonde hair and slightly similar noses, in fact you look like my sister's doll .... well even if you don’t, what Hyukkie says goes!” And that was how Jaewhan became Ken.
