♥ Tea for Two ♥

 The sheer white curtains floated into the room, dancing on the light autumn breeze.
The sunlight filtered in through the trees painting shadows upon the floor that moved along with the silent song of the wind.

Jaejoong sighed as he awoke to the smell of something sweet in the air. It was so cloying, but he tasted lemon and vanilla on his tongue as he breathed in deeper. A sound from behind him had him lifting up to peek over the back of the white sofa.

He smiled as he watched the love of his life moving around in the open kitchen, a recipe book lay on the counter as she checked it again and again before picking up the items needed.

He nearly giggled when she picked up the sifter and wiped a hand upon her cheek leaving behind a streak of flour. She was just so cute in her white frilly apron.

Im Yul-Min, her name sounded in his head once again for the hundredth time that day; just like all the other days before, since he met you. It was so important, because it was hers.

She smiled as she patted the side of the canister, sprinkling the flour in a red mixing bowl. He could hear her humming lightly as she spun around to grab a spoon from the counter behind her. When she turned back to the island counter, she felt arms embrace her from behind and a smile bloomed upon her face.

“You’re up.”
 

“Mm” came the reply, “What are you making?”
 

“Just a little something...” She said shyly.
 

Jae looked over, outside on the veranda of their apartment was a white iron table set for tea. He smiled; it was your innocent whimsy that made him feel so comfortable, so strong, and yet weak at the same time. If he was to lose you… but he wouldn’t think about things like that today.

 He nuzzled the back of Yul-Min’s neck with his nose, her hair tickling him as he breathed her in.

“Is there anything I can do to help?” He asked releasing her and sliding around to stand beside her, his back to the counter top. She grinned at him and shook her head. She looked so cute just then.

Jaejoong leaned over and kissed her cheek, smirking at the blush that started at her ears. He traced the pink shell with his fingertips.  
“I love you.” He whispered and she just nodded her head as she added sugar to the mix.
 

He hoped they would always stay like this.
Their meeting had been such a blessing for him, and he had been so afraid that Yul-Min wouldn’t accept his love when he confessed to her last year, but now he couldn’t think of any other place he would rather be than right there watching her cook for him.

Yul-Min suddenly turned to him and stuck out the tip of her finger, hovering over Jae’s lips. He parted them and took the digit into his mouth with a wicked gleam in his eye. Her blush moved further down and he was in heaven when the flavors of the lemon tart and her met in his mouth as he leaned in to kiss her again.
 

He held her hand in his as they stayed like that for a long moment. When he stepped back Yul-Min had a dreamy look about her and he couldn’t help but do what he did next.

She squealed when he dipped his finger into the mix and dotted her nose with the light yellow cream. Spinning away laughing, he ran around the sofa while Yul-Min cased him in a game of cat and mouse. His laughter was breathy; hers the tinkling of a bell as she lunged for him time and time again, only to be alluded at the last second.  
Finally they came together, embracing each other in front of the billowing curtains, looking out over Seoul in the late afternoon. He leaned in and kissed her once more before pulling her back to his chest and they both delighted in the contentment that flowed around them in that moment.
 

  Okay this was a little shorter than I had hoped but the idea came to me and I didn’t want to clutter it up with too much because I wanted to follow the simplicity of the song. It seemed like a sweet moment in time and I wanted to keep it light (and maybe a little fluffy), lol.  I hope you like it! ~♥
