"So Yong Gi, tell me why exactly are you going to be your class' Romeo?" Amber asked the fine young man, who was making himself busy tidying himself as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. Truthfully, he himself doesn’t believe that he was chosen as the class' Romeo since there are many handsome boys in his class that could have done better. He's poor… he's not as handsome as the heartrob, Sehun…. He's a nobody. Jio frowned and said, "I have no idea….". Amber shrugged.

"Who's your partner? You know, back in the days, I AM the Romeo" Amber shared as she playfully plays with Jio's stuffed animals. Strangely, Jio let out a sigh. A sigh that looks like he lost something or he was being burdened by somebody. "It was Sulli" Jio awfully said, which made Amber to burst in laughter.

"So that's why they chose you, because no one had the guts to be stuck with Sulli. No one has the guts to be a Romeo when your Juliette is Sulli!" Amber said, reminiscing the time when she played as the Romeo. Jio nodded at Amber and asked, "Who was your Juliette?"

Amber laughed again and said, "Luhan!". The two bursted out a laugh.

CLASSROOM

"Hey, is it true? You're our class Romeo? YOU?" Sulli said the moment she heard the news. She always looked down on Jio the moment she met him. She thinks that he's an idiot, well, Jio is thinking the same of her. She hates his name and Jio hates her name as well. They hate each other so how can they ever act that they love each other?

Sulli was avoiding his gaze but Jio didn’t notice. He hates her to much to care. She remembered what happened last night. Her dearest friend crying alone in their bed. She couldn’t believe that she is talking with the man who kissed the person she wanted to protect the most. It gave a strange kind of pain… seeing the person whom she believed is the strongest, crying alone in the dark, being hopeless just because of a kiss.

"What's the big deal? Everyone voted for me, do I have a choice?" Jio said, acting so brave in front of Sulli. It's amazing how Sulli's aura gave chills to anyone she talking with.

"You better do well or else…" Sulli threatened, giving Jio a death stare and then it hit her. What he did to her bestfriend is unforgivable. He made the cold girl remember a hateful memory that she sealed deep inside her heart and he just opened up that seal, breaking the cold of girl. Now, Sulli is afraid that her dearest friend might truly break into pieces and she's also afraid that she might not be able to put her back as a whole again.

"Or else what!?" Jio bravely asked.

Sulli let out a grin different from her previous grins. It was dark. No--it was evil. She thought of a perfect plan. A perfect revenge for her friend. A plan that everyone would never ever forget. "You'll know" she said, looking at him intensely.

The two practiced after school for a week but they never got along. Everytime Juliette tells Romeo that she loves him, Sulli would throw up. For Jio, hugging Juliette is the biggest pain of all. He even begged the director to cancel the kissing scene but in the end, he failed. The thought of him kissing Sulli gave him goosebumps. Never in his life is he going to kiss another horrible girl, not after kissing yet another horrible one.

Krystal doesn’t make any progress at school. She doesn’t go to school for a week, saying that her anemia is making her feel weak but Jio knew that it was all just a lie. Since the school can't afford to lose her, they allowed her to have a day off. Jio was planning to say he's sorry so everyday, he goes to the library but Krystal never went to the library. It's like Krystal completely vanished out of the blue. Whenever Jio asks Sulli about Krystal, she would just avoid him, completely ignoring him.

It was the day of the performance. Everyone had gathered, especially boys, since Sulli is very popular in their school. Amber is very supportive towards their little play as she wholeheartedly helped out preparing the set. She also composed a couple of songs for them to sing. But unfortunately for Amber, Sulli is planning for something else. It is something that would wreck everyone's effort just because of a hateful kiss.

"Don’t worry, as long as we're together, no one will ever defy us" Sulli said while looking at her sleeping friend, who cried a lot earlier in the bed. She kissed the cold girl's forehead. "You'll see" she added. She lifted her bag filled with costumes and make up. This is the day she's been waiting for. She went at the backstage.

"Ready for your play, Baby Ssul?" Amber asked while smiling brightly at her. Amber's smiles made Sulli hesitate for a bit, since Amber gave a lot of effort in this play, but she stopped herself. "What must be done, must be done" Sulli thought.

Sulli let out a bright smile and said, "I'm more than ready, hyung!"

"Great! You look very dashing today" Amber said.

Meanwhile… Jio was also preparing at the backstage. He looked rather handsome in his medieval suit. He's like a prince taken out from the fairy tales. His hazelnut hair… his puppy-like pair of eyes and his straight posture that gave him a more dashing look. He heard a loud knock from the door.

"Come in!" Jio shouted. The door swang, revealing Amber, carrying a small box.

"Hey, buddy! Whoa! You look like a prince!" Amber said. Jio smiled and said, "You're not going to ask for anything, right?"

Amber opened the box that she was carrying earlier, revealing Jio's precious pendant. Jio was surprised to see the pendant.

"Why did you bring that here!?" Jio said but he was interrupted when Amber shooshed him.

"Look, you don’t look like a prince without a fancy pendant. You should wear yours, even if it reminds you of her. You know, maybe after this, you'll have the courage to move on. Take it as a stepping stone to" she said. Jio knew that Amber wont leave if she doesn’t win an argument. That girl never fails to lose in an argument; so Jio decided to just wear it. That pendant reminds Jio of someone, and he decided to take the chance to let it go. No, he should let it go. It's been 13 years from now.

Jio wore the pendant. Amber touched his shoulder and said, "Everything's going back to normal, I swear", with a sorry look on her face.

"It's starting… should we go?" Amber said. Jio took her hand and said, "Let's go", giving her the brightest smile that she could ever get from him.

The play started. Every characters are very immersed at acting. Everything is perfect. Everything is magnificent. There are no flaws. Nothing could ever go wrong. Jio was doing alright. He looked dashing, dashing enough to make girls swoon over him. His american feel matches with the story. Sulli, what do expect? She looks heavenly. She's a goddess from heaven, covering her inner demon. Seeing Sulli made everyone stuck in an awe.

She lied down in a coffin-like bed, the room filled with the flower's scent. The candles bringing out a peaceful atmosphere. Juliette drank the potion to get her to a temporary slumber.

"Don’t chicken out, Choi Sulli" she thought as she devilishly looked at the ceiling. That ceiling is the most important part of the plan. She thought of Krystal; she must be crying in her bed again, alone. She knew her since she was a child and Krystal became a part of her everyday so how can she ever forgive the man who made her into this state and the man who reminded her of him?

She closed her eyes. Romeo will see her soon; that is when the plan will start.

As she expected, Jio went to the stage. He looked at her with hurtful eyes. He just saw his lover in her coffin, thinking that she's no longer breathing. How sad Romeo can be? Seeing the woman he loves lying in her death bed. It must be the worst pain of all, and Jio is portraying it very well. He caressed Sulli, touched her cheeks and cried. It was his tears but, trust me, Jio wanted to throw up if he had the chance.

"Juliette, only the Gods can tell how much I love thou" he said in Korean but, as everyone says, he sounds like speaking in English even though he's not.

Since their play is a musical, Romeo has to sing before he kills himself with poison. The music started as he turned around to face the crowd to sing. Amber composed this song and God knows how proud she is to tell everyone that it is her song.

Meanwhile, someone came to see the play. She was dressed casually so she can't help getting everyone's attention. She is so beautiful and her features are very well defined. In this school, she was named as the cold girl or the ice princess, which she took after her sister. Her skin is so fair that it matches well with her black leather jacket. She's wearing a sunglasses to hide her eyes, fortunately, everyone is seeing it as a fashion statement. She is the first Juliette. No, she is the real Juliette. She is the Juliette everyone voted for. It was a good thing that her bestfriend took the bullet for her and she is very thankful for that.

Sulli smiled as she strangely moves her hand, but she was hiding it so no one seems to see. It's like she's signalling something to someone.

It was Jio's chorus. The time when the plan was supposed to start. Jio heard a weird noise coming from above, but he ignored it since he is so immersed in singing. Sulli, who's trying her best to hold her laughter, continues to play dead. "Something's off", Jio sensed but he couldn’t look up since the show must go on. He heard a noise above him. The noise was getting louder and louder so he looked up. It happened very quick. First, he saw a metallic bucket tied on the ceiling. Somebody was pushing the rope from the other side, making the bucket to be in a horizontal position, making its contents to fall to Jio. It all happened very quick that Jio couldn’t avoid the liquidish substance to fall to him. Now, he is covered with a bloodlike liquid.

Laughter filled the whole stadium. Amber stood up out of her surprise, not because Jio couldn’t finish her song, but because her bestfriend is covered with a sluggish substance and that the people present in the play are laughing at him right now. Luna was there too. Like Amber, she stood up out of her surprise. How can her friend be in a situation like this? How can an innocent fine young man be caught up with this situation? Who would do these kinds of play to him? "Sulli and Krystal!" she snapped. Of course, if Amber and Luna was there, Victoria is present too. She didn’t laugh. Heck, she punched all of the guys she knew who laughed at her friend's bestfriend.

The cold girl didn’t laugh as well, but she also doesn’t feel sorry for him. She felt nothing. She remembered Sulli watching "Carrie" and mentioning that she wanted to pull that prank on someone; with pig blood and the bucket. She looked away from the scene. She doesn’t expect any of this but she always expects the unexpected so it doesn’t took her by surprise. She wanted to escape because she doesn’t want to look anymore. She thought that it was amazing how people laugh at someone's embarrassment so harshly. No, she doesn’t want to think anymore. She walked away, only thinking of one place to go when she wanted to forget about something. Now that she thinks of it, it's been a while since she touched her skates.

Jio's sight turned black. He can't see anything because of the embarrassment. He felt something snap out of his neck. It was his pendant, falling from his neck. He reached out for his pendant but someone grabbed him.

"Hey buddy, you've done enough. Let's go back. Don’t worry, we're here for you"

He knew that it was Amber's voice. He is certain of it. That person dragged him. Jio still couldn’t see anything.

This day became his nightmare. This night was supposed to be perfect, but now it turned into this.

Jio's vision is blurry, and his self esteem is now blurry too.
