"We should go," Taeyeon spoke coldly, trying to hide the hurt she was feeling. It was as if Tiffany never spare a look in her direction.

Tiffany nodded in response, eyes still on the semi-conscious man.

With much effort, they loaded the man to the backseat of Taeyeon's car with Tiffany tending to the man while Taeyeon took the driver's seat.

However, their ordeal wasn't over. The rain was pouring heavily and there were no streetlights in the outskirts. The only source of light was the car's headlights, leaving Taeyeon with visibility close to none yet the urgency of a gaping wound on the head was weighing on Taeyeon's shoulders.

To make matters worse, the dirt roads were turning muddy in the rain and asTaeyeon pushed the accelerator to plough through the mud, the car was jerking left and right roughly.

Keeping her eyes on the road, Taeyeon couldn't care less about what was happening in her backseat but she was in denial. The nudging image of a concerned Tiffany staring at the man with loving eyes were threatening her very sanity on top of her current predicament.

Pushing those thoughts out, Taeyeon tightened her grip on the steering wheel and applied more force on the accelerator. The faster they get to the hospital, the faster Taeyeon could run away to her safe place, away from Tiffany, away from her heartbreak.

Suddenly, Taeyeon heard a cough, a groan and the next thing she knew, curses were flying from the back.

"You , attacked me!"

Everything happened so quickly as the struggle in the backseat hit Taeyeon on her right temple, causing her to momentarily lose control on the steering wheel while her leg was still on the accelerator, thereby sending the car off the road and into the trench.

Saved by the seatbelt she had on, Taeyeon groaned when she realised where the car was in.

Good thing the trench wasn't deep. Taeyeon heaved a sigh of relief at the salvageable state of her car. However, the same couldn't be said for the man who has crashed to the front from the impact.

If Tiffany hadn't kill him earlier, this would have.

With shaking hands, Taeyeon checked his breath only to confirm her suspicion.

He is definitely not breathing now.

Staring right ahead, Taeyeon noticed that they were at the intersection where one route goes to the city and the other into the woods.

Whose is Taeyeon saving right now?

A) Turn right to the city. Go to Chapter 7.

B) Turn left into the woods. Go to Chapter 8.
