"This is not good."

"Is... Is he really... dead?" Tiffany asked hesitantly, dreading to know the answer from Taeyeon.

"I am not sure but he isn't breathing." Taeyeon decided to tell the truth.

"What should we do?" Tiffany shrieked in a panic as she collapsed onto the ground, feeling weak in her legs.

"We have to get help," Taeyeon could only suggest the right thing to do. She quickly took out her phone but Tiffany grabbed her by the arm and in Taeyeon's perspective, Tiffany was staring straight into her soul and at that moment, Taeyeon was worried what Tiffany was going to ask of her.

"What is going to happen to me?"

Realising that it was just a logical question coming from Tiffany, Taeyeon covered Tiffany's hands with her own in a comforting way.

"It's okay, you just have to tell them it was an accident. They will understand. If you are afraid, I will take full responsibility."

"So it's going to be fine?"

"Yes." Taeyeon affirmed.

"But he is not breathing!" Tiffany never looked that frightened.

"There's still a chance that he could be saved if we get him to the hospital on time," Taeyeon tried to comfort Tiffany.

Just then, a of lightning flashed across the sky followed by the roar of the thunder and suddenly, the electricity was cut off, leaving them in pitch darkness.

With a shriek, Taeyeon found herself holding Tiffany in her arms.

"It's okay," Taeyeon repeated, both to Tiffany and herself, as she unlocked her phone. "Crap, there's no signal."

Using the light from her phone, Taeyeon made her way to the house phone only to find the line cut off, possibly due to the bad weather.

Sighing out loud, Taeyeon nudged Tiffany and said, "We have to get him to the hospital ourselves. Help me carry him to the car."

Tiffany nodded silently and followed Taeyeon's direction to lift the man's legs while Taeyeon tried to carry the man's upperbody with all her strength.

Braving through the storm, they managed to carry the man without a word and placed him in the backseat. The silence was a sign of unspoken tension and Taeyeon could feel the burden of their actions weighing on her.

As if the heavy atmosphere wasn't enough to push Taeyeon into a chaotic frenzy, just as Taeyeon drove the car into a split road - one leading to the city and the other deeper into the woods, the words that Tiffany spoke next made Taeyeon question where her loyalty lies.

"But no one will know of this except us."
