"Oh my god! What happened?" Taeyeon blurted out in a panic and dashed towards the motionless body.

Slightly in a loss of what to do, Taeyeon took another look at her surroundings and saw pieces of broken glass next to the man's head. She then carefully kneeled down next to the man and visually inspected the wound. It was a deep gash and Taeyeon could see remnants of the glassware that was obviously the cause of the wound.

Looking up, Taeyeon saw a visibly shaking Tiffany holding onto herself while giving Taeyeon a look of helplessness. It was a heartbreaking sight to see her love so shaken and frightened.

"I... I didn't mean it," Tiffany finally spoke through her sobs, keeping her distance from the man and Taeyeon who was right next to him. "We were shouting and.. and... fighting... and suddenly he just came at me."

Taeyeon nodded her head to encourage Tiffany to go on.

"It was in the heat of the moment... No... No... I was caught surprised... No... I meant I didn't know why I just grabbed the glass and... and..."

Tiffany broke into uncontrollable sobs and Taeyeon could only frown.

Sensing she shouldn't push Tiffany any further to talk about what happened, Taeyeon took a glance at the body next to her.

Hesitantly, she reached out her hand and turned the man around to lie on his back. Taking a deep breath, Taeyeon then placed her fingers under the man's nose to check for his vital signs.
