Part 1:

"Appa! One more time!" The kids said.

"Aigoo… I've already told three stories tonight! We'll continue tomorrow." Kris Wu Yifan said to his son and daughter. 

"One more time! One last time for tonight pleaseeeeee!" They whined.

Wu Yifan didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry at his children's' actions. They loved bedtime stories so much that they could forgo their sleeping time.

"Alright alright, pinky promise?" Wu Yifan lifted his pinky finger.

"Pinky promise!" The children giggled. They knew appa wouldn't be so cruel.

"So? Thumbelina?" Wu Yifan browsed through the books at the bookshelf.

"Read before!" They replied.

"Cinderella? Peter Pan? Alice in Wonderland?" He continued.

"Done! Done! Done!" They replied as their appa continued listing every book he could find in the bookshelf.

"Oh dear… I guess we ran out of books. Let's call it a night and buy new books tomorrow shall we?" Yifan persuaded his kids.

"But you promised!!!" They got themselves out of their blanket and sat straight up as a sign of protest.

"You lil punks." He said as he ruffled their hair. "So what do you want to hear?" Yifan asked. He knew his kids inside out, they would stay awake for the entire night if he refused to tell them a story.

"Umm… How were we born!"  Lynn, the eldest daughter, suggested.

Darius, the younger son, nodded his head enthusiastically. 

"You were born when me and your omma decided to have a baby. The end, good night kids!" Yifan said as he kissed their forehead and attempted to leave.

"Appa! Not that! The whole story! How did you guys get married!?" Lynn protested.

Yifan led out a helpless sigh, "Alright alright!"

He sat back down  and the children were all ears.

"It was winter - the entire Seoul was covered in snow, the roads was filled with endless honks. There was a petite figure cutting across all the passer-bys under the white clear snow.

That girl had a very urgent expression, she never stopped running, "Excuse me, please let me through, I will be very grateful."

The entire floor was covered with a thin layer of ice, one carelessness was enough to make her slip and she slipped very far.

She struggled to climb up and when she succeeded, she didn't bother to remove the snow water on her body and continued running forward.

"Omma, wait for me. You have to wait for me."

"Omma, Appa!" She shouted as she opened the ward's door.

"Shh." An old man placed his finger on his lips, "She just fell asleep."

The girl closed the door softly, took out her scarf and pulled the man's collar, "Appa, come out for a while."
