Xiumin POV

Today is the first time I don't want to go to school... Why? Because I'm gonna see her, Lee Ji eun... I went to class and sat down in my seat. Kai came up to me started talking to me.

"Hey Xiumin!!!" I heard someone shout. I turned my head and saw Ji eun. I ignored her and looked the other way.

"Do you know her Xiumin?" Kai asked looking at her

"Yeah... Kind of..." I said

"Hey Xiumin! Why were you ignoring me?" She asked pouting

"I wasn't... I just didn't hear you..." I lied

"But you saw me..." She said

"Whatever.."

"How do you guys know eachother?" Kai asked

"It's a long story... Kind of..." She told him

"I've got time." he shrugged

"No you don't... Class starts in five minutes." Xiumin said pointing at the clock

"Oh ! Tell me later at lunch ok!" He said and ran off. I get the feeling that todays gonna be a long day... It was third period and it was math. I have the first three classes with Ji eun, how troublesome. I was focusing on the teacher. Until I heard a light snore. I turned my head and saw Ji eun. She was sleeping in class. I can't believe she's asleep right now. I flicked her forehead and she flinched waking up.

"Owww..." She said rubbing her forehead

"Did you hit me?" She asked

"Pay back." I smirked

 

IU POV

Pay back huh? He still remembers that? Well I guess I do deserve that then. After class ended it was finally lunch! YASSSS!!! My favorite class! I saw Suzy and told her that I'm going to sit with Xiumin. I told her to sit with us. I saw Xiumin at a table with a bunch of other boys there too.

"Oh it's you! Come sit here." The boy from earlier said

"Oh thank you." Me and Suzy thanked him

"Ok so tell your story." He said and all the other guys stared at me, even Suzy did

"Can everyone stop staring at me, and introduce theirselves first?" I asked

"Ah, sorry...My name is Kim Jongin, you can call me Kai though." And one by one everyone introduced themselves

"Now you can introduce yourself and your friend." He said

"My name is Bae Suzy, nice to meet all of you." Suzy introduced herself

"And my name is Lee Ji eun. I hope we all get along." I smiled

"So what story are you guys talking about?" Chnayeol asked

"It's a story of how her and Xiumin met." Kai answered

"Xiumin is friends with a girl?!" Sehun asked in a shocked voice

"This is really shocking..." D.O. said with his eyes even bigger than they were before

"Why is this so shocking?" I asked

"Because Xiumin never, and I mean NEVER has had a girl as a friend before, after his grandma-" But chanyeol was cut off by Xiumin slamming his palms on the table.

"I'm going." He said and left the whole entire cafeteria quiet.

"Why'd you mention that?!" Kris scolded chanyeol

"Sorry...I was to caught up with myself..." He apologized

"Well, I guess I'll tell my story now." I cleared my throat

"Yeah!" Kai cheered

"Ok... Promise me you won't tell another living soul about this." I told them. And they all nodded in response

"Ok, well. It all started on the first day of school. After school was over me and Suzy went clubbing at night. It was probably around 10:30, and the thing is, is that I was supposed to be home, and so my mom sent people to take me back home. I decided to hide to I hid behind this rather really tall guy. Actually he was actually exactly Chanyeols height... Wait... Did you guys ever go to a club on the first day of school around that time?" I asked them

"We were actually... Wait... I think I remember! You're that girl that grabbed onto my arm aren't you?!" He asked sounding as if he just solved a huge mystery.

"So that was you guys?! Wow... This is like fate for something." I said

"It really is...Wow... Anyways, what happened next?" Kai asked

"Ok, after that I decided to hide somewhere elso so I went onto the dance floor. But then I saw one of the guys coming towards me and so I ran away and hid behind someone. And that someone happen to be Xiumin. After that, I kicked the guy and took Xiumin's hand and we made a run for it. That was how we met. And after that day, something happened to both of us. It was so suprising ans shocking, that me a Xiumin almost dies from it!" I told them trying to cause suspense, and puased a bit

"So what happened?!" Sehun asked eager to find out what happened next

"Our parents told us that we were getting married to eachother." I told them

"WHATTTTT??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" They all shouted

"SSSSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I shushed them

Everyone in the cafeteria looked at us. And soon went back to their own business

"I told you guys to be quiet! Nobody can know about this!" I scolded all of them

"How can we not say anything?! I mean, you and Xiumin, are, are...OMG I don't know what to say!" Kai was too shcoked to say more. They all started asking me questions.

"Well... Our parents told us that they wanted us to get married so that our companies could kinda be like..Combined?" I told them

"So when is your... Wedding?" Suzy asked me shocked that I never told her

"In about two months." I told them

"Two months?!" They all shouted

"YAH!" I shushed them

"Wow... Xiumin's getting married to you..." Sehun said

"Well he should be happy." Lay said

"Why? I mean who would be?" I asked

"Cause you're really pretty. To be honest I wouldn't mind marrying you." Kai said

"Well I would mind." I said giving him a mehrong

"And I gave you a compliment too." He said

We all got along pretty fast. But I wonder why Xiumin is so cold and has no expression whatsoever. Unless he's mad. He's never happy... School ended and well on the way out of school I bumped into Xiumin.

"Hey." I smiled

"Can we just act like strangers?" He asked

"Why?" I asked

"Well, why don't we just act like we're strangers in school and make is so that only we know about what's going on." He said

"Haha... Well, that's a bit too late.." I said with an akward laugh

"Why?" He asked

"Because I already told your friends..." I told him closing my eyes tightly waiting to see what he would do.

"You what?! why would you tell them?! I don't know why my parents even let me marry someone stupid as you! I would rather marry a rock!" He shouted at me and walked away. Although I have to admit that hurt me... I don't want the conversation to end like this. So I ran up to him and stopped him.

"Wait!" I said stoppingn him from leaving

"What?" He asked looking really irritated

"I know you hate me..." I said trying to hold back my tears,

"But... Even though you do hate me... Can we just try to get along?" I asked with tears now streaming down my face.

"W-Why are you crying?" He asked rather shocked

"Cause you hate me... Right? And you're mad at me." I said

"Just stop crying. I can try. But you shouldn't expect anything." He said and left

"T-Thank you!" I shouted at him

Xiumin... You would really hate me if you knew the real reason of why we're getting married.

 

Flash Back
 

Before I left to go home. Minseok's(Xiumin's) mom pulled me aside.She said she wanted to talk to me about something.

"Ji eun-shii... I have something to tell you." She said

"Uh, yes. What is it?" I asked

"The truth about the marriage of you and Xiumin..." She said

"The truth? What do you mean the truth?" I asked, confused about what she meant my 'the truth'

"You and Xiumin aren't getting married just for business." She told me

"What? I don't get it... Why are we getting married then?" I asked

"Because... Xiumin, his heart. It's as if he doesn't have a heart anymore. It happened ever since his grandma passed away." She said looking down.

"What happened?" I asked

"You see... As parents from a very big company. We were rarely home. So his grandma always watched him in our place. Ever since he was five years old. He was a happy boy back then. Although he was incomfortable with us, he always smiled with his grandmother. Then he turned 10 years old. And he was bullied, but even though he was. He was socialable and easy to  befriends with... So whenever he came back home he would be happy to see his grandma. The first one he always went to was his grandma. But one day when he came back she was no where to be found... He saw her in bed and tried to wake her up. But her eyes wouldn't open. That was when he knew that she had passed away. She left a note for him though. He never showed any of us. Only he knows about it. And ever since then, he's always been cold hearted since.So when we heard about the oppurtunity to become an even better company by working with the Lee company we agreed. Because We've heard rumors about you. The girl that can make friends with anyone. Always smiling, and has fun. And not to mention. Beautiful as well. " She finished her story

"Wow... Ok, that's a lot to take in right now..." I told her

"Please. I'm begging you. Please put some warmth iinto his heart.." She begged

"I...I guess i can try..." I sighed

"Thank you!" She smiled

Y-yeah..." I gave an akward smile

"Does my parents know about this?" I asked

"Yes... Yes they do." She said

 

End Flashback.

Xiumin-shii... That's the real reason behind our marriage. But I can't let you know... Because there's a chance you might hate me. And I can't let that happen...

 

I finally updated!!! Yayyy!!!! I'll update soon! And I decided to change the orginal thought I had in mind.
