Against It"I like your eyes," he said absentmindedly with an idiotic smile on his lips, but he absolutely did not care, because he loved Seohyun and he couldn't help but act like a fool when he was in front of her. Seohyun giggled and brushed his bangs out of his eyes.
"I like your eyes, too, JungKook," she responded. "They remind me of the night sky."
JungKook frowned. "Because they're so dark, right?"
"Not everything dark is bad. You know, night is when the fun starts and secrets live. Without night, the day wouldn't be so special. The sun only shines as bright as it does because of the contrast of the moon. But I always liked the moon more anyways," Seohyun told him, placing a gentle kiss on his forehead.
"And your eyes have the stars that dance and play in the moonlight, JungKook. Everyone else's eyes may be dark, but yours are the only the only pair that are still bright and twinkle beneath the colour," she added. JungKook smiled brightly up at her, mouthing the words "I love you."
"I can't put words together as prettily as you can. I know I can't, but I don't need to when I can just tell you that I've never loved anyone as much as you, and you're the poetry that lives in my mess of a novel. You can take anything and make it special. I guess that's how you made yourself so special to me," JungKook responded.
Seohyun couldn't help the gigantic goofy smile on her lips. "Aww, JungKookie," she giggled, kissing his forehead again. "So you're not mad about my mom?" she asked hopefully.
"Only if you sneak in my room tonight so we can cuddle. Maybe not even then," JungKook said with a huff.
"It's a risk I'm willing to take," Seohyun declared with a smile.
The next morning was an awkward one. "Have you seen Joo-hyun? She's not in her room," Mr. Seo asked his wife. The woman grumbled and slapped her hand on her forehead before she went back upstairs. She opened the door and found JungKook and Seohyun sleeping together.
"What are you two doing?!" She asked, appalled at the sight. JungKook gasped and fell off the bed with a loud thud. Seohyun laughed at him.
"Oh my god, JungKookie, are you okay?" Seohyun giggled. JungKook groaned and rubbed his elbow.
"Ow, I hit my arm," he stated. Then he looked back and sighed when he noticed Mrs. Seo in the doorway, and it was even better than he was literally only clothed in blue boxer briefs and the hickey on the side of his neck (and he ing told Seohyun it was a bad idea). "Good morning, Mrs. Seo," he greeted the woman. She glanced between Seohyun and JungKook and scowled deeply, smoldering with anger.
"Joo-hyun, get dressed and come down for breakfast," she ordered in a pissed voice, slamming the door. Once she closed the door, Seohyun giggled to herself and got on the floor to straddle JungKook.
"Good morning, JungKookie-ah," she said happily, kissing his cheeks and down his jawline to his neck.
"Are you serious? Your mom - just said - to put - clothes on, mmm, Seohyun! Stop!" JungKook laughed when she met his lips too much for him to talk. Seohyun grinned at him as he sat up on his elbows to gaze into her eyes. "Oh my god, off, Seohyun, get your ing clothes on," he told her, slipping out from under her to stand up. "Get your in the other room, I need to get dressed, too," he ordered cheerfully, pulling her up.
"But, what if I just stayed in here, JungKook?" She teased.
"Then your mom would get pissed. Go get dressed, babe. Maybe tonight, okay?" JungKook suggested, pressing his lips to her temple before she left.
When JungKook showed up at the table before Seohyun, the atmosphere grew increasingly awkward, but he decided to roll with it. "Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Seo. How are you today?" he asked formally, cursing his Satoori for showing up at the worst time.
"Interesting accent," Mrs. Seo mumbled under her breath.
"Jagiya, there is no need for this. It's childish," Mr. Seo sighed quietly. JungKook couldn't help but feel a little less human around Seohyun's parents. At that moment, Seohyun bounded down the stairs and walked into the dining room, pressing a kiss to her mother's hair, hugging her father, and kissing JungKook's lips quickly before sitting down.
"You're affectionate this morning, sweetie," her mother said with a small smile.
"I'm with my three favourite people in the world, why wouldn't I be?" she asked rhetorically. "Eomma, can we go shopping today?" she asked excitedly.
"I could make arrangements. Your father has something to do, so he can't come, but-"
"Then you and JungKook can spend quality time together while I try on dresses and help you pick out cereal! Oh, it's perfect!" Seohyun stated, clapping her hands eagerly. JungKook's heart dropped as he met Mrs. Seo's eyes.
"Seohyun, your mom hates me," JungKook whispered as he sat on the couch with her after breakfast.
"Nonsense. She doesn't mind you any more than she did with any of my other boyfriends. At least you aren't Jung YongHwa. She couldn't even look him in the eyes," Seohyun responded. JungKook raised an eyebrow.
"Who's-"
"Mistake. That's who he is. I dated him in sophomore and junior year of high school and he cheated on me. My mom had a bad feeling about him," she cut him off. JungKook's gaze softened and a sigh escaped his lips.
"Does that mean she doesn't trust me, either?"
"No, shut up, JungKook, it's not that. She doesn't know you, that's all," Seohyun assured him. Soon enough, JungKook was being pulled back out the front door by his girlfriend to he
