Talk to Me
Against ItIt was Monday afternoon, after classes, and JungKook had made numerous attempts to reach out to Seohyun. Seohyun, however, denied each and every one of them. In fact, he made the very stupid mistake of trying to talk to her while she walked away from to her dorm.
"Seohyun, can't we-"
"No."
"Why can't you-"
"Because I won't," she cut him off.
"But that's not fair!" JungKook finally got a full sentence out.
"Life's not fair!" Seohyun responded angrily, walking faster. Unfortunately, JungKook noticed and kept up with her speed.
"Seohyun, you've got to-"
"No! Please go away!" she replied sharply.
"Stop!" he commanded, grabbing her arm. She had no choice but to turn around, adding a very pissed expression just for emphasis.
"What?" Seohyun growled. Then she noticed that JungKook's eyes looked sunken, red, and raw, like he'd spent all of last night trying to wipe away oncoming tears.
"Seo Joo-hyun, I'm sorry. Why can't you believe me?" he asked hopefully. Her expression softened.
"I doubt you're as sorry as you want me to believe, JungKook," she muttered.
"Seohyunnie, I-" Seohyun bit her lip and yanked her arm away before she started walking again.
"Don't call me that!" she said.
"Seohyun, what do you want me to do? I'll never even look at alcohol again if that's what it takes to-"
She halted and whipped around. "If that's what you think this is about, you have no idea what is going on! Go back to your own dorm and maybe try to solve the stupid problem instead of guessing what it is! I'm not going to give you the answer!" Seohyun answered loudly before turning back around and continuing to her dorm.
JungKook stopped following her and took a deep breath before turning around and going back to his dorm. "She doesn't even want me to explain. She just doesn't want to forgive me," he whispered, running his fingers through his hair.
Yuri watched as Seohyun came in and slammed the door, dropping her backpack on the floor. "Anything wrong?" she asked gently. Tears welled up in the youngest girl's eyes and she swiftly wiped them away until she was sobbing
