The next day, Seohyun paced around the room, thinking of what to do about the Chanyeol situation while JungKook sat on the couch of the girls' dorm, icing his eye even if ice didn't help anymore. "Okay, JungKook, I've decided what we're gonna do about this," Seohyun announced. JungKook removed the ice pack and looked up at her.
"Okay, what is it?" he asked expectantly. Seohyun folded her arms over her chest and smirked.
"We're gonna tell the headmaster. We can finally get rid of Chanyeol," she said as if she was the most clever person ever.
JungKook's eyes widened as he shook his head. "No, no, no, I can promise you that's a bad idea. The headmaster hates me. You know she'll find a reason to send me away. Please do not, under any circumstances, tell her," JungKook contradicted.
"But you didn't do anything," she stated.
"But I said things that made him want to hit me. Let it go," he said in a begging voice. Seohyun shook her head.
"We're going to tell her. We can't just let him hurt you and get away with it."
"We can if it doesn't matter," he muttered.
"It does matter. C'mon, let's go," she said, pulling at his arm. He yanked it back.
"No!" he yelled. Seohyun hadn't noticed until now how watery his eyes were. "No, I don't care what the he did to me! He could've beaten me until I couldn't stand! But it doesn't matter, because you're okay, and I'm still alive! Do you really want me to leave?" he asked loudly, scaring Seohyun just a little. Then she remembered that he was in pain and the headmaster didn't like him anyway.
"JungKook, I know you and the headmaster have a bad relationship, but-"
"Pfft, bad? Is that what you call extreme hatred and having the burning desire to rip her apart?"
