For the past few days Baekhyun could sense the growing closeness between Jongin and Eunji. He knew that Jongin was just a naturally caring guy but the fact that he was caring about Eunji made him shook his head. It was not that he's jealous; there was no freaking way he would be jealous, that was what he always told to his self. He was still suspicious about the girl; he was starting to be okay with her until the fish incident. He kept on thinking on why she would not want to eat fishes and even vomit. If she had allergies, it could be possible, but she had amnesia, how could she know? And besides, she was eating fish for the time she had stayed with them, well she never actually knew because she just ate whatever was served. But actually Eunji didn't tell anything about having allergies or such; in fact she didn't tell anything which made her more suspicious. Also, when she fell the other day, she said that she didn’t know what a hospital is, Baekhyun also noticed that she was acting like a child that was kept from this world. She was too clueless and too innocent.

"Eunji!" Baekhyun called one morning when he saw the girl giggling with Jongin about something.

"Neh?" Eunji immediately went to him

"Why are you not doing your work? Wipe the tables!" He ordered her

"But I'm already done wiping the tables" she reasoned to him but Baekhyun just shook his head

"It's not clean yet" He ran a finger on the table and showed it to her afterwards "Look!"

"But--"

"No buts just do it!" He said and walked away leaving Eunji with mouth open

"Tss, it's already clean. There's no dirt on his fingers. What did I do again to him?" Eunji murmured threw the cloth on the table

"Don't mind him, maybe he's on his period" Chanyeol walked to her and joked to lighten up Eunji's mood after Baekhyun's little sermon, but the girl seemed to be confused

"Period?" she asked

"Yeah you know, monthly period?” He said, she should know right?

"Don't tell me she didn't know that? It's a girl thing right?" Kyungsoo whispered to Jongin, but the younger just shrugged.

"Hyung is just jealous" Sehun said as he joined Eunji and Chanyeol

"And why would he be?" Eunji asked as if it was the most impossible thing

“Because we are all friends now and he’s not. He just wants to befriends you noona, but is just too shy admit it” Sehun explained

“I thought we’re friends already? But if not then I’ll befriend him” Eunji said cutely and smiled showing her cute eyesmile

“Maybe he wants to be more than friends” Chanyeol teased

“Will you please all go back to you work!” Baekhyun yelled, who just showed from nowhere and in they all rushed to their places while laughing.

“Baekhyun your head is hotter than the morning sun, chill” Chorong said as she turned the sign of the café to open.

The day continued for them as ordinary, customers come and go, Jongin was once again surrounded by girls, Sehun busied himself with making bubble tea, Kyungsoo was still inside his beloved kitchen, Eunji and Chanyeol were having a break but they stayed inside the café. They didn’t want to be burn alive under the scorching sun.

“Summer is sure approaching fast” Chanyeol said and fanned himself, the air condition of the café was not enough to cool him.

“It’s so hot” Eunji whined and wiped her sweat

"Look at that couple acting all lovey dovey” Kyungsoo said as he put two bubble tea on the table for Eunji and Chanyeol, talking about two customers who were at the far corner of the café.

 “Thank you Kyungsoo” Eunji said and immediately took a sip of her drink

“Why Kyungsoo? Envy?” Chanyeol asked in a teasing voice as he also took a sip on his own drink

“Nope, just curious how can they stick to each other like that when it’s too hot” Kyungsoo said before walking back to the kitchen, not forgetting to give Chanyeol a sharp glare.

“I wonder if I’ll ever experience that” Sehun said from the counter as he glanced at the couple

“Sehun ah, you don’t have a girlfriend?” Eunji asked

“I don’t. But I want to have one. I want to know the feeling of being in love” The maknae said dreamily, putting his face above his palm and looking up

“It’s okay Sehun, you’re still young you’ll surely find the right girl at the right time” Junmyeon said, who was just listening to them all the time

“Just like how you met Chorong unni?” Eunji asked

“Yeah, you don’t need to rush” Junmyeon said

“But what if you have limited time?” Eunji asked suddenly and made them wonder

“Limited? In what way?” Chanyeol asked, because he got confused with Eunji’s question

“Death” She simply said as she looked down on her drink

“Eunji, you’re creepy you know that?” Chanyeol commented

“But it’s possible. What if you know you’re going to die soon? What if you have a limited time to live, will you still just wait?” Eunji asked them, thinking of her situation, she only had a limited time, too short to just wait.

“Waiting or not, if your love will come it will come” Baekhyun said, he popped out of nowhere again

“Hey guys what are you talking about?” Jongin asked, there’s not much customer so he can join them with their talk

“Love” Sehun, Chanyeol and Junmyeon said in unison

“Ow” Jongin said, his mouth forming an “o” shape

“Jongin, have you ever fallen in love?” Eunji asked, noticing that Jongin didn’t answer, as if he gets awkward by the question.

“I did” he answered

“Woah really? So you have a girlfriend?” Eunji asked, but if he have a girlfriend, that made him out of her list.

“I don’t know” Jongin answered  

“Customers! Get back to places now” Baekhyun said just in time when Eunji was about to ask another question

They all get back to their places; Eunji and Chanyeol’s break were also over. Eunji went to the counter replacing Sehun for the maknae’s break.

“Eunji” Baekhyun went to Eunji after she served the customers

“Yeah?” She asked

“Can I ask for a favor?” Baekhyun asked, and Eunji wondered what it is. He was asking in a nice tone

“What is it?” Eunji asked

“Please don’t ask any more about Jongin’s girlfriend” he said seriously

“Huh? Why?” she wondered

“I also don’t know the whole story. But as I understand, she left him, without any goodbye and proper breakup. That was over a year ago but he loves her too much, and still hasn’t moved on. So please don’t mention anything more about that topic.” He explained

“Is that so… I’m sorry” Eunji said, she even felt guilty for asking Jongin about his girlfriend, though she didn’t know, she should be more sensitive to Jongin’s reaction

“It’s okay. You didn’t know before”

“Thanks for informing me” She said. Baekhyun nodded and went away.

Eunji smiled, she found that it was really nice of Baekhyun that he cared for his dongsaeng. And aside from that, Jongin was officially out of her list.

It's already late and the cafe was already closed. Baekhyun and Eunji just came back from throwing the garbage when they saw Jongin outside the cafe. He was sitting on the marble stairs while holding a picture on his hands.

"Jong---" Eunji was about to call him Baekhyun covered

"Shh, can you please be quiet. Look at him, he's crying" Baekhyun whispered

"Crying?" Eunji asked and looked at Jongin. Baekhyun was right, he was crying. "Why?"

"Maybe he misses her" he said, observing Jongin

"His girlfriend?"

"Right, so just let him be" Baekhyun said. Jongin couldn’t see them since the palm plant was covering them "come on" Baekhyun said and decided to just enter by the back door.

Eunji was about to follow Baekhyun, but then she was surprised when Jongin tore the photo apart. He tore it in pieces and threw it on the ground before stomping away. He looked mad, no, he looked hurt.

"Omo." She went to where Jongin was before and picked up a piece of the torn photo. The piece showed the eyes of a girl, which was actually familiar to her. Eunji then decided to pick up all the pieces before entering the house. She went straight to her room and kept those pieces inside her drawer.

The next day, it rained. Eunji tumbled in her bed, having a bad dream “No please no!” She cried. Hearing the girl’s cry from the other room, Baekhyun rushed to her and woke her up. He held her hand by one hand while the other shook her shoulder

“Eunji! Yah Eunji wake up”

“Ani… please stop! NO!” Eunji was finally awake, she looked around and saw that it was raining hard outside. Her gaze then fall to Baekhyun’s hand on hers. Widening her eyes, she shook it off and immediately back away from Baekhyun while screaming “No! Please don’t hurt me!” she cried from the corner of her bed

“Eunji, it was just a bad dream, it’s me Baekhyun. I won’t hurt you” Baekhyun explained, Eunji was still at the corner, holding her head like a mad woman

“B…Baekhyun?” she said with trembling lips

“Yes, it’s me. Don’t worry”

“What happened to noona?” Jongin asked

“We don’t know. She woke up to a bad dream and then she won’t speak a thing” Junmyeon said, sipping his coffee. It was about time they open up the café and the rain hadn’t stopped yet.

“Baekhyun you’re the one who woke her up right? What happened?” Chanyeol asked

“I don’t know Yeol, I just hear her screaming so I came to her. You must’ve seen her when she saw me, it’s like she’s scared that I’ll hurt her. But then when we asked, she won’t answer”

Sehun then came down from the second floor, he visited Eunji and tried to talk to her since he was pretty close with her now. But the girl didn’t talk to him either.

“What happened?” Kyungsoo asked Sehun

“She won’t talk to me, she only talks to Chorong noona. It’s like she’s afraid of me” Sehun said and sighed

“Conclusion, she only talks to girls and is afraid of guys.” Junmyeon said
