*Happy birthday Lee Minwoo-ssi.*

"This song is rubbish" Eric blurted out heartlessly.

Minwoo frowned but said nothing.
"Let's move to the other one" the leader commanded. 

"I like this song let's listen to it one more time Eric" Minwoo asked the oldest member of the team.

"You say it just because it is your song, but I think it turned out a cheap song, it is just wasting time to listen to it for the second time." He said and turned his gaze to Andy who was nodding his head in agreement with the leader and asked him to play the next track.

Dongwan eyed them and saw the hurt in Minwoo's eyes. "It is a good song, I like it too" He tried to soften the situation. "We have to make the decision together, you should not decide on your own, Eric!" Minwoo send a thankfull glance at Dongwan. 

"... If you want to listen to it, go ahead. I'm out for a smoke" Eric went out annoyed.

"Why is he like that. It isn't like him, I mean he usually cares for our emotions. He knows Minwoo has spent hours for making this song. How can he behave like this?" Dongwan asked while looking at Andy's direction, hoping an answer from the maknae who is so fond of Eric.

"I think he has right. Work is work and friendship is friendship. Don't be offended Minwoo. He wants to make the best out of this album" the youngest member as always took the leader's side.

Minwoo pouted. "I also try my best for this album Andy-yah. You doubt that?" He said.

"Minwoo-yah forget that. Maybe Eric had a hard day. Let's focus on the task in hand and listen to the song again" hyesung told Minwoo.

Ouside the studio, Eric lit a cigarette and tried to relax himself. He sure was so fond of Minwoo. He relied so much on Minwoo's talents. But just today bearing his best friend seemed very hard. Minwoo would always ask Eric's oppinons on whatever he did, the music composition, lyrics, his solo career and even his personal life. But for this damn song he didn't contacted Eric not even once. Eric even offered to help but got politely rejected. 

"So this is the song that Minwoo hid from me for a while, huh, he thinks he can make a good song even without my help, my !" He mumbled under his breath and kicked a rock to an unkown direction out of frustration. He didn't want to admit but he was jealous. He wanted to be a part of this song too. He wanted to be a part of everything Minwoo does to be precised. He didn't want to be ignored by him or stay away from his best friend. Eric was alone and Minwoo was all he had, friend, family, colleague, everything. 

He took the last poke from his cigarette, threw it away and went back to the studio. The guys were having a great time even without him. Minwoo was now laughing hard at some lame joke Dongwan told and Junjin was imitating Hyesung reaction to the joke which caused even more laughters. Eric felt like punching them in their faces. How could they ignore his absence like that?!

Minwoo unkowingly turned his head in Eric's direction while laughing and their eyes met for a second. He stopped laughing and suddenly felt completely uncomfortable. 

Eric sighed. 

"Let's call it off for today. I think I'm not in the mood of music tonight" Junjin said after feeling the tension between the two CEOs. 

"OK. Minwoo, I'm going to your direction. Mom is at her friend's in your neighborhood. Wanna come with me?" Dongwan offered knowing Minwoo probably didn't want to company Eric in the way back home like he usually did. They would comute together most of the time. Either Eric or Minwoo would drive and pick the other up. 

Eric frowned but waited for Minwoo's answer. His heart was tensed knowing Minwoo would most likely accept Dongwan's offer and he would go back alone which he didn't like for sure.

"Thank you. But I will go with Eric, we came together. Is it OK with you?" Minwoo's question left Eric speechless. 

"Yeah sure" he murmured.

"I don't know what's wrong with you today ,Eric, but you are still my favorite" Minwoo said with a serious tone. 

Eric was overwhelmed. "How can you be like this? I mean, I acted like a coward today. I..., I just wanted to help you with this song but you hid it from me. It wasn't like you... I'm... not just ... anybody..Minwoo... I have to know... what you.. do, deal?"

"You were busy filming your drama and I didn't want to bother you, babo." Minwoo said amused at Eric's confession. 

"Deal?" Eric repeated.

"Deal, you idiot" Minwoo Eric's hair and then patted him on his back. "My favorite" he declared.

Eric took his eyes from the street for a second and flashed a satisfied smile toward his best friend.
