“Jam wake up!”

               “What time is it?”

               “9:30 Jam”

               “Too early, give me five minutes.”

               “No!  You promised yesterday, Jam.”

               “What promise?”

               “Shopping?  There are so many shopping malls here, I don’t want to miss one of the shopping malls here.”

               “Yeah right.  Wait, you came her to Phuket is to shop only?”  Jam asked.

               “Of course not but today is the day.”

               “Okay, wait.  Relax.”

               Jam stood up and went to shower while Pie enjoyed the viewing the beach at the window.

               They went to the restaurant first inside the mall for breakfast.

               “How’s your date last night, Jam?” Pie asked.

               “That was the most boring date ever!”  Jam answered.

               “Why?”  Pie asked.

               “I want to dance, he said he can’t.  I want to talk, he just want to drink.” Jam answered.

               “That’s all?” Pie asked.

               “But I like his friend. She’s cute.”

               “She?”

               “Yes she, so handsome.”

               “You mean, a lesbian?”

               “Yes, I really like her personality.  We both had a date so we can’t talk long.”

               “How about her date?  A girl?” Pie asked.

               Jam nodded.  “You’re more cutie, Pie.”

               Pie laughed.

               “Speaking of the devil, there she is!”  Jam pointed the girl she talked about, riding on the escalator.

                Jam left the bill on the table and grabbed Pie.  “Let’s go Pie!”

               They ran to the escalator and followed the girl’s directions.

               “Do you know her name?”  Pie asked.

               “No, I didn’t get her name when my date introduced me to her.  It was so noisy in the club.”

               “What do you expect in the club?”

               “Hey!” Jam was calling her girl. “Remember me at the club?”

               “It’s you!  What’s your name again?”

               “Jam and this is my friend Pie.”

               Pie nodded. “Hi.”

               “I’m Kim.”

               “What are you doing here Kim?”  Jam asked.

               “Just roaming around.  How about you?”

               “Shopping.  Do you like shopping?”

               “Actually, no.”  Kim answered but looking at Pie.

               Jam looked at Kim then at Pie.  “Pie?”

               Pie was looking at Kim’s eyes. “Yes?”

               Jam felt irritated.  “What’s our task for today?”

               Pie and Kim was still looking at each other. “Shopping.”

               “Shall we?”  Jam asked.

               Pie nodded.

               Kim’s phone rang.  “I have to take this, see you around.”

               They waved goodbye.

               Pie and Jam went to the boutique.  Pie was just staring at the shoe display.

               “Hey, do you want to take that?”  Jam asked.

               “What?”

               “Someone’s not on herself today.  I want to know why?”

               “Who?  What?”

               “I knew it! It’s Kim.”

               “Kim? No!”

               “I saw you two.  You were looking at each other’s eyes.  Don’t deny.”

               “Please stop it Jam.”

               “I saw her first Pie.”

               Pie nodded. “Let’s go to another store.”

               They were about to another store; they saw Kim again with four men with matching uniforms.  Pie pulled Jam to turn away so that Kim will not notice them.

               “Wait, I want to ask her number Pie.” Jam said.

               “Look Jam, she’s with men.  Is that her bodyguards?”

               “Hey Kim!” Jam called.

               Kim only waved at them and left.

               “Look Jam, she’s not just an ordinary person.  Let’s go okay.”

               After their whole day shopping, they went back to their hotel.  As they enter to the lobby, the manager approached and handed an envelope to them.

               “Excuse me ma’am, someone ask me to give this to you.”

               “From who?”  Jam opened the envelope. “It’s from Kim.  She said sorry.”

               The food cart came to them.  “Ma’am this is her peace offering,” The manager opened the stainless food cover, a big-sized mouth-watering lobster inside.

               “Bring that to our room.”  Jam commanded.

The manager nodded. “And ma’am before I forget, the boat will sail on 7:30.  You must be in at the port twenty minutes before and the car will wait for you at 7:00.”

“To where? Another peace offering?”  Jam asked.

“No ma’am, this is our gift for you.”  The manager answered.

“Gift for what?”  Pie asked.

“Just a gift.  See you tomorrow; you seem tired from your shopping.  Good night.”

               After they ate the lobster, Jam lied down on bed her belly while Pie standing by the window eyeing at the lights on the sea.

               “Pie, I want to go to the club again.  I want to see Kim.” Jam said.

               “Are you not tired Jam?” Pie asked.

               “Yes, I’m tired but if I see Kim’s face again, everything will be okay.” Jam answered.

               “Are you sure Kim will be there?” Pie imagining Kim’s eyes on their first met at the mall.

               “I’m not sure, Pie.  I really want to see her again.  I hope I can see her again tomorrow, I think the boat that we are going to is from Kim’s.  What do you think Pie?”  Jam asked.

               Pie smiled still thinking of Kim’s eyes.

               Jam stood up and walked to Pie, “Hey, what are you smiling at?”

               “Nothing.” Pie answered.

               “Smiling at nothing?” Jam looking at the window. “There is nothing there, what are you thinking about Pie?”

               “I just amazed at the lights.”  Pie answered.

               “Amazed at the lights? Okay.”  Jam went back to bed.

               “We have to wake up early tomorrow.”  Pie said.

               “So go to your bed now.”  Jam commanded.

               Pie nodded and went to her bed smiling.
