another half (within me)
Course of Lightningyou grace me into heaven
dragged me within the fires of hell
threw me into lava
bleached me white
burnt me alive
this ill feeling should have dissapeared a long time ago
from the laps,
to the slaps,
to a map (your heart).
it flushes the red into the white.
blended my life into the dark.
you crave of me yet do not at the same time.
you wanted,
you despised,
you inhaled (my heart).
pleased with your own impossibly selfless self
you insisted on becoming king.
despite the hollers of the crowd.
the raven peckin at your shoulder-
i've heard it all
the way you swayed
and i prayed
for a possible stall
yet you insisted on becoming king
and i could only subside into air
you, stubborn, held on
i, dying, let go
don't catch a light which doesn't shine,
don't watch a show which cries fine.
you raged me into hell
and pranched with me in the heart of heaven.
