the suspense as you wrap arms around another entity,
glooms and blooms of rain which melted like salt within water.
i taste the broken pleasure and dug a hole for myself.

without emotions, staring at the you who smiled,
the direction- a reflection of the past.
you crawl onto sides and brushed me by.

as a person, thunder accompanied my breathing
the edges of rushing water
and losing sense of warmth and temperature.

you whispered a word and dragged yourself even further.
i stayed by the dam and broke into breathing.
a reptile who finally climbed her way out of water.

i no longer lived within the water, but now-
the water needs me.

therefore without hesitation- you placed your hands on top of mine
close, yet not touching.
with those painful eyes and half hearted smile

you took her. 

brushing water out of my eyes, nose, lips
i could only stand and stare.

the person whom i have known yesterday
no longer present today

so all i could do was sit and stare
as you danced beneath the moonlight.

while i crawl within shadows.
