In which birds of the same feathers flock together
And to that he and I, we're forever
Darkness, unsweetened, coating not sugar
Red daunting eyes, swept wherever
Sleep available? Perhaps not, it's damper
Cuffs and huffs, it's a miracle in December
Breathing a mystery, save for treasury
Toast in lights of makers and takers
Cries of one whom tears should shed
Lonely, croak a tune of despair
Perform under the tensions of lights
Luxuries and priorities all despised
In which birds of the same feathers flock together
And to that, he and I, what's forever?
