Of course, before I get to the part where I introduce the crazy people in my life, I should be introducing myself first, right?

Okay, whatever. I don’t need someone’s opinion. Pfft! Okay, here it goes. Prepare to be amazed!

Hi. I’m Kim Taeyeon. And if you’re not stupid enough, I’m Korean. South Korean. Kim is my surname and the rest... well you know it already, I didn’t really need to elaborate. Okay, moving on... I started going to school at age of four. Young, right? You impressed?

Okay, nevermind. Anyways, just so everyone knows, I studied kinder, elementary, and middle school in Seoul Academy International School. Sounds prestigious, huh? Well... not really. And then, eventually, I transferred to another school for the remaining levels---High School---in Seoul National University. Now, this one’s the prestigious one, as in. All the intelligent, wealthy, and other sorts of ‘almighty’ students go here... usually. And that’s where I graduated---High School and College, that is.

And if you’re going to ask what’s my major?

Huh!

LOL I’m not being so full of myself, okay? Just trying to... okay, nevermind. Nobody cares... blah blah blah.

Okay, so my major's Interior Design. Haven’t heard of it? Then, you’re probably a North Korean spy if that’s the case. I’m good at drawing? Tss! Good enough... I guess? I mean, I wouldn’t be able to get this far if I’m not, right? Come on! Agree with me!

So, yeah... I’m an Interior Designer, if you’re going to ask again. I work at SDC---Seo Development Company. Yeah, it’s obviously a company. My best friend’s company, just so you know. My position? Hmmm... Well, basically I’m in the top three. I’m the Managing Director of the company. But not for the reason you think, okay? I didn’t get the position right away, of course. I’ve been through the humanitarian process. Although, I did get into the company because of that best friend of mine. But that’s about it. No special treatment or anything. I requested for it.

Okay, so... about my family...

I’m an orphan. Well, not really an orphan. If I’m still a minor, then, I would most probably would be an orphan. But my parents died when I’m already in my twenties. It was my college graduation day. And I don’t know if I would still be considered an orphan. But anyways... when they passed away, my best friend’s parents---who have treated me like their own child, took care of me since then. And that explains why me and her are living in the same roof for seven years now. Well, not exactly just me and her. Their mansion has maids and drivers and all the other staff you have when you’re EXTREMELY rich. Oh! And we also have her twin with us, of course.

Oh! And if I forgot to mention... well, I think I already did... I have a younger brother, and I’ll introduce him to you later on. Just be patient. I hate impatient people.

Okay, so here goes the first person that’s related to me.

Jessica Jung

No. She’s NOT my girlfriend, if that’s what you have in mind. She’s just a friend. Not really close, but still a friend. We met in college through “some girl”. I’ll introduce you that “some girl” in the latter part of my intro.

Okay, so, back to Jess...

She has a girlfriend. The girl’s name? Nah~ I’ll tell you later. Okay, so, THIS girl used to hate me. Not... bad hate... just... she hated me because she thought I became the hindrance to her relationship with her lover. Pfft! Is it my fault that I’m very good looking, and that, a lot of girls and boys fall for me?

So, yeah... she likes me. But that was seven years ago, when we were still in college. I don’t even know if she still does. But hell! Like I would be affected. No. Never. I don’t like her that way. My heart is reserved for someone else.

And yes, just like us, she’s wealthy too. In fact, she even studied in Paris. “I wanted to learn beyond”---nuff said. And she did. She’s as successful as we are now. She’s a Fashion Designer just like her best friend, and they own a clothing line now.

I’m proud of her. Truthfully, I am. I’m proud of all of us.

Now, the second person...

Sunny Lee

She’s Jessica’s step sister. She’s not really that close to me, though. We rarely even talk to each other. But you know, since we work at the same place, and we have the same profession, and we have one---no, two people in common, then I think it’s safe to say that she’s quite related to me. I guess?

Her father and Jessica’s mother got married when they were still in their senior years in high school, thus, explaining the fact that they were inseparable now.

Jess once told me---no, wait. It was “some girl” who told me---that Jessica used to hate Sunny, the bad hate way. They weren’t in good terms because Jess hated the fact that her mom was marrying another man, and the fact that she would have a new sister. Krys is enough for her, she thought then. But you know, God is good all the time, because somewhere down the road, the two of them eventually got along.

So, yeah, that’s her story.

Now, I’ll introduce to you the third person in my life.

Kim Jongin
AKA: Kai

My pain-in-the- sweet, caring, and loving younger brother that I forgot to mention earlier. He’s sweet---a little bit, he’s caring---sometimes, and he’s loving---nawww... I don’t think so. A real pain-in-the----VERY. Haha! I’m kidding!

Okay, not so much. But yeah... he’s my brother, and no matter how people tell me that he’s a real troublemaker, and that I should kick him out of the family tree, I still love him, of course. We have the same blood running through our veins, duh? And it might sound cheesy, but I know he loves me as much too...

Okay, I think I’m gonna puke! Bleh!

Right. So... he’s REALLY related to me because he’s my brother, like what I just said. He’s one of the reasons why I still have this thing called strength to live on. Biologically, he’s the only family I’ve got left, and I’m not planning on losing this .

Oh, wait. I think I forgot something again...

Oh, right! He’s not here in Korea now, though. He’s still studying in America, Yale University, if you might ask. He’s still getting his master’s degree. He’s gonna be a doctor, so... hah! Can you even imagine it? A former B-Boy getting a master’s degree in medicine AND in a prestigious university? I wanted to faint when he first told me that he wanted to be a doctor, because I thought it was impossible, that he was just fooling around. But then, there’s something in his eyes when he said that---determination. And it was the first time I’ve seen him THAT serious. Seriously. And... well... yeah... he was serious, I mean, look at him now.

I’m so proud of him. Well, I always am.

Oh, wait. There's still one more thing...

He likes my best friend to death! Probably that’s one of his reasons why he wanted to be a doctor---to impress.

Okay, enough with my brother. Let’s go with the fourth person...

Kim Hyoyeon

No. We’re NOT related by blood. It just so happens that we’ve got the same surname, and the similar name. But hey, in Korea, almost all of the people you meet have the same exact names, surnames, similar names, and the likes. Thus, explaining as to why this kid and I have similar ones. I remember back then we were teasing each other about being the other’s long lost sister. LOL

And may I tell you, this kid is a complete choding. It wouldn’t help to have her inside the house for a whole day. It’ll be irritating. Haha!

Well, this lad is related to me because she’s friends with my bff. And bestie’s friends are also my friends, and what’s mine are also hers, so to speak. Although, we’re not really THAT close, but I’d say my relationship with her is a little more better than Jessica’s, since we’ve known each other for quite some time now---high school years to present.

She owns a dance studio, by the way. And while most of us are busy talking about art, she’s just there, doing what she loves the most---dancing. You know, sometimes I wanted to be like her---to be able to express my feelings through bone-cracking moves. Well, it’s not like I don’t express myself, but you get what I mean... do you?

Choi Sooyoung

My best friend’s mortal enemy sort of 'friend'. I don’t know if the word ‘friend’ fits, though. I did tell you that my bff’s friends are also mine, right? And same goes with her enemies... I think...

They weren’t really enemies to the point of pulling each other’s hair, and breaking each other’s necks. No. That’s definitely NOT their thing. They’re just... you know... academically “Rivals”---always competing against each other on who’s better, who’s more intelligent, and many other things. Their rivalry have been going on for like forever. I mean, it started when we were still in first grade. Can you believe it? Even now... they’re still rivals---her being the CEO of Choi Development Corporation wasn’t really a good catch for my bestie.

They’ve been rivals for too long that I start to think they actually like each other romantically. Well... for THIS girl, that is. The way she smiles oh-so-wide whenever she makes my best friend’s blood boil, makes me think that she likes my best friend more than just a rival. I don’t know. I never really got a formal conversation with her, since my baby won’t allow me to talk to her, or meet her.

But I think I’ll be changing that thought from now on. I mean, this girl’s not that bad.

We call him ‘Nikon’. Hahaha! Okay, nevermind my ahjumma laugh. This guy... I don’t really know how to describe this dude. But okay, here’s one thing. He’s the boyfriend of “some girl”. Okay... I think I’m gonna cry now...

Don’t get me wrong, though. He’s a good person. He treats her well, and I’m not denying that fact. Well, because honestly, I told him if he hurts her, he will be digging his own grave. So, he complied.

He’s a Thai national, but he was born and raised here, in Korea. I met him in college too, when we were all in our senior year, through “some girl”. They were already together that time. They’ve been together for almost eight years now. Get it? EIGHT YEARS. Long huh? We kept on wondering why hasn’t he proposed to her yet. Because if he doesn’t, I’ll grab this one chance. Because they’ve been together for so long. I don’t know. Maybe they’re not ready yet. And I don’t want them to be ready.

Enough with this dickhead.

Let’s go with the people that’s ‘more’ close to me. Sort of...

Im Yoona

Another choding friend of mine my baby. That best friend of mine really likes having choding friends. Tsk... tsk... tsk... But anyways, Yoona’s not that bad too. She just likes playing pranks on other people. I remember the times when she always put sliced cucumbers inside Sica’s locker back in college, and also, the time when she tapes fake bugs on “some girl’s” desk. It was utterly hilarious.

She pranks everyone in our circle of friends. Well... except for me and my best friend. Because I told her once that if she tried, I’ll give her a piece of my burning fist. And like a dog, she obeyed. LOL but we all knew I was just kidding her. But then, she still never did.

But all of that crankiness were all back in our teenage years. She’s changed now... I think. She’s a little bit more serious with her life now, and that’s good in my perspective. She’s working in the same company I’m in, and like me, she’s also an Interior Designer. I assigned her as our department’s team leader, since I have trust in her, and I could see that she’s responsible enough. Add the fact that I can’t be the team leader because I’m already the company’s managing director. That’s how everything goes in the world of business.

She didn’t disappoint me, and I know she wouldn’t in the future. Aigoo... I’m really proud of this kid... I feel like crying...

Oh, wait. Did I mention she also likes my baby to death? No? Damn it! I’m getting forgetful these days. STRESS!

Okay, since I’ve mentioned it now, let’s get moving, shall we?

Seo Yuri

My baby’s twin sister I was talking about earlier. Well... truthfully, we haven’t got close right away, because she was so shy around me back then. And honestly speaking, it was her twin who got really close to me in the first place. But then, of course, because she was her twin, and so she became one of my close friends.

She and her twin, of course, had a LOT of similarities, duh? Similarities like being both musically talented---violin, piano, guitar. You name it. They both can dance and sing well. They’re also both smart to the core, trust me. They’re both HEALTH FREAKS. Like, seriously. But their only difference is, she doesn’t smoke.

YES. Her pale-white version twin smokes, as in inhaling and exhaling nicotine. I’ll tell you the details later.

So, yeah... on with Seo Yuri...

She’s Jessica’s girlfriend, as I’ve mentioned earlier. She nearly kicked me on the guts when she found out that her crush likes me, she nearly ran over me with her brand new Maserati when she found out that her girlfriend STILL likes me, and now... well... we’re good now, since Sica doesn’t like me anymore. But hey, to tell you, she never really got mad at me about it, it was just a friendly... “anger” sort of thing. Oh, you get me, right?

She’s an Architect, by the way. She’s the Vice President of SDC. So, technically, she’s my boss. They both are.

She’s everyone’s partner in crime too.

She’s my partner when it comes to fooling around, clubbing, specifically; she’s Yoona’s partner when it comes to pulling off pranks; she’s Hyo and Kai’s partner when it comes to dancing; she’s “some girl’s” partner when it comes to sports; and she’s her own sister’s partner when it comes down to serious business.

Yuri is sort of like me when it comes to my bff’s friends---my bestie’s friends are also hers. We’re NOT possessive, okay? NO. We just like to watch over her---the white version, we like to keep her as close as possible.

And did I forgot the part where their parents own an airline? They do---Seo Internationals.

Seo Joohyun

My loving, caring, sweet, innocent cute, y, and beautiful best friend :))

There’s so many things to describe her, and I don’t wanna say it ALL because I don’t wanna end up bragging again, or else, she’d kick my womanhood.

So basically, she’s the white version of Yuri, whom I happened to mention so many times as I stumble upon each person that has something to do with my life. THIS girl and her twin are like my second family, along with “some girl”, of course. THIS girl and I have been together for God knows how long, and I don’t think we’ll ever be separated from each other... well, in fact, I don’t want to. Never in my life did I think about getting separated from her. I can’t. I won’t. It sounds cheesy, but hey, I’m telling the truth ya’ll!

I love her?

Yes, that’s definitely true. But if you’re gonna ask me if it’s more than as a friend... nah... I don’t think so. It’s not like she’s not likeable. She is likeable, believe me. I mean, come on! She’s a full package, would you even complain? It’s hard to find that kind of person nowadays. But even though that’s the case, I still don’t feel more than THAT... or... at least... I think I don’t.

Anyways... she’s an Engineer just to let you know. And she’s my other boss. She’s the CEO, for crying out loud. And trust me, she’s scary when she’s in ‘boss mode’, I’ve never seen her like that. Sure, she kicks my literally whenever I or piss the out of her, but STILL, I don’t get scared during those times. I only get a little bit scared at work. Ugh! I hate it! I hate it when she bosses me around and I can’t even complain. I think that’s one of the reasons why she does that. That is having fun seeing me tensed and worked up. Tss!

Oh... by the way... don’t ever get us wrong about calling each other... dirty names. It’s kind of... our habit ever since high school years. Hah! I remember the first time I ‘accidentally’ called her ... she slapped me. It’s okay, it was my fault anyways. But after that incident, she apologized and I did the same, and that’s where all the ‘call your best friend with dirty names’ habit started.

The only names that totally pisses her off nowadays is ‘baby’, ‘y’, and her real name---Joohyun. Whenever I call her that... ooh... she’d start chasing me like a mad woman. But I still insisted on calling her those, though.

She’s a great person. She’s almost like an angel who came down to Earth. But sometimes, I’m having a hard time understanding her. You know, the ‘stress-reliever’ issue. We always fight because of that. I mean, have you ever seen a ‘health freak’ who smokes cigarettes? Weird, right? Look, it’s not like she’s addicted, she’s just... whenever she’s stressed or troubled, she would always pull out a stick of cigarette, light it, and put it in like it was some kind of lollipop. I seriously hate her for doing that. But there’s nothing else I could do, is there? I’m tired of lecturing her about it. And that’s one of her problems---she DOESN’T LISTEN.

She’s the one who always say “Fast food accumulates, and eventually, you’ll die”. Pfft! Like cigarette smoking is anything different from it. Golly Gee how adorbs... :P

But you know, no matter what other people say about her, no matter what she does... she’s still my best friend, and I love her more than anyone could ever imagine. No matter what the circumstances are... I’ll stay right here by her side.

Ugh... okay, fine! I’ll tell you about her.

She’s... a REALLY close ‘friend’ of mine, we met in college. She was an exchange student that time, she came from Nyurk---Yuri said. LOL New York, I mean. Okay, so, she came from the US. She was born and raised there, obviously. I still remember the first day of classes, and she introduced herself in front of the class in English---she doesn’t know how to speak Korean at that time. And I don’t know why but it’s really funny how whenever, us, ‘Girls’ Generation’---our group name. Yuck! LOL just kidding XD whenever we talk to each other in Korean, she was always left out because she didn’t understand what we were saying. Jessica was like that too since she lived a couple of years in London. So, whenever that happens, either Seohyun, me, or Yoona would translate the conversation into the English language. Well... leaving out the explicit parts, of course. Nyahahaha!

But that was then. The two ‘foreigners’ of the group could COMPLETELY understand the Korean language now... unfortunately :PP

She’s really a wonderful person inside and out. Beautiful features, personality, body eye-smile, and everything else. Like Joohyun, she’s a full package. That’s most probably why many people like her.

They started building ‘JeTidal’ when they were still studying high school, and the clothing line started running in their college years. Thus, explaining the ten year thing.

Tiffany’s an only child. Her parents have a company in two different countries---her father runs their wine company in Barcelona, Spain, whilst her mother runs a music label in Japan. And thus, this whole situation explains why she’s a traveller.

THIS girl is the one person whom I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, simply putting aside the fact that I wanted to be with Seohyun until the day I die. But yeah... I wanna be with Tiffany ‘romantically’, for the rest of my existence if she would just turn and look at me the same way she looks at Nikon...
