Donghae got on a break up with his girlfriend, so he decide to go to the beach where they use to go before, it was already dark in that afternoon, from a far he parked his car and when thru the sand and walked there and reminisce the things they used to do, he picked a stone and throw it in the ocean

“why!!!” he shouted

“am I not enough for you???”

“why did you broke up with me...”

“is he better...”he said before he knelt in the sand and sob

Suddenly someone came riding a bike and parked beside him

 “ mister?” she said while parking her bike

“are you alright??? she said while getting something in the basket of her bike

Donghae looked up and he saw the a girl standing beside him

“who are you???” he asked

“neh??? “she said before she smile

“I'm the owner of this beach....”

“mianhe....”

“I didn't know...” he said while standing up

“ani...”

“no problem...”

“so, where is she???” Jessica asked him with all her might

“who???” Donghae said, pretending he didn’t know what she is talking about

“the girl you use to be with when you go here....”

“we broke up....”he said before he cried again

Jessica looked to him and paused a little before she went near to him

“oppa???” she called him so endearingly

He looked at her while she went to him nearer and touch him on the face, they got eye to eye

“it hurts me a lot...” he let his guard down

“am I not eno.....”

But before he can continue she immediately hugged him tight

“it's ok, just cry in my shoulder....I'll be here....” she said as she patted his back

Donghae hugged him also and continue to sobbed

“you know what....”

“I'm just like you 3 years ago...”

“I feel weak and lonely… “she said while still hugging him and while tapping his back

“how did you moved on...???” he said while still sobbing

“it just happened...and I'm glad I did it...”

“you too oppa, I know you can do it...”

“thank you....for listening and taking care of me....even if I just met you...” he said now with a happier expression

Jessica break from the hug and get again the thing she got earlier

“what's your name???” he asked her

Jessica handed him the heart necklace in his hand and rode in her bike

“hey!!!...what's your name....”

“Jessica…. Jung Jessica....by the way nice meeting you....see you around...”she said before she pedal her bike

 “so you are the famous photographer in Seoul???” Ms. Jung, can you stay for a while???” he pleaded

When she heard it she can help but smile to herself and she stopped pedaling, after a while she returned and went back to him

When he saw her approaching back to him, he also can't help but to smile

“what do you want??? “she said when she is in front of him

“can you tour me in your beach....???”he pleaded

“and why??? “she said while trying to go down in her bike

But her skirt got in between the pedals that make her unbalance and heading to bump on the floor but he immediately went to her and catch her. They both fell on the floor, he is at the bottom while she is on top of him and on most top is her bike

“ouch...”he said while groaning in pain

Jessica looked to him and touched him again in his face

“are you ok???”

He looked at her and just nod

“mianhe...because of me... you got hurt.... “she said before a tear fell from her eyes

he felt her sincerity, he can't help but smile

“no, it's ok....” he said while patting her head

“I think we need to go up now or.....you want us to be like this the whole day???

When she realized their position she gulped a little and tend to stand up and when she got up, she give her hand to him in order to help him,he  got it, and he was pulled by her

“so??? are you ok now??? can I go now??? I have a lots of things to do...”

“can you stay a little longer....”he said while looking at the sky

She saw again the sadness in his eyes

“I stay... “she said and then smile to him

“let's go.”

“where???”

“it hurts...your gripped it to tight”

When he looked at her wrist he saw lots of small wounds, he can't help but asked her

“what happened to those???”

she got her arm

“it's nothing....”

“nothing? are you sure? for me it looks like it was shots of injection?”

“how did you say so?” are you a doctor?”

“probably? you are right....”

“mwo? really?” she asked him eagerly

he just nodded

“I see...  and these... “she said while pointing her wounded wrist

“these are nothing... I just broke something in my house and then boom....” she said while making her wounds cover

“it was crashed and when I cleaned it....it cut me...that's why I got those...”

“ok, you said it....by the way, can you go with me?”

“where???”

“just follow me....” He said while pulling her again

“but what about my bike???”

“don't worry my bodyguards will get it”

“but??? but???”

“no buts....”

He opened the door for her and after a while he also got in the car, he put her the seat belt before he starts to drive

“where are we going???”

“this is my way of saying thank you....” he said before she smile at her that made her blushed

They went to a private restaurant where he usually brought her ex-girlfriend before....

"so, we are here...."he said while taking off his seatbelt

When she heard it, she immediately tried to also unbuckle her seat belt but she had a trouble

"yah, just relax...."

"let me do it..."he said while helping her

"there you go..."he said with a smile

"thank you, Donghae..."

he went down the car and opened the door for her

" hope you will be happy in our dinner..." he said before he drag her inside

They went inside a waiter approach them

" table for one, sir?"

"no, table for two...."

" this way sir..."he said before he leads them

they follow him and then they reached in their table

Donghae assist him in her seat and he sit opposite facing to her and then the waiter came to get their order, he took the menu and ask her what she wants

" what do you want?"

"neh? please be the one to order for me... anything will do..."

The waiter looked at them very weird and also the other people there looked at them very weird especially to Donghae

"hhhmmmm.... can I have two chicken pasta alfredo and red wine please..."

" ok, sir...."he said before he exit

"well, tell me about yourself...more...."

"well, I'm 22 years old...you know me as a photographer....and I was...." 

But she was interrupted by the waiter who is pushing a cart where their food is place

"here is your order sir..."he said while putting the plates in front of him

" thank so much..."

"where do i place the other food" thw waiter asked politely

Jessica's face frown a little where she heard the waiter's question, as if he doesn't see her and when he saw her expression, he immediately did an action

" do you want me to call your manager and ask him to fire your manager?

"no sir...."

" you are embarrassing my pretty date here..."

"don't you see her? put the plate there.....and ask sorry to her?"

"but with who?"

Donghae got annoyed

" put the plate in front of her. "he said while pointing in Jessica

"it's ok...don't get mad at him..."

The waiter just followed what he said and asked for an apology towards the direction of Jessica

"I'm so sorry... "the waiter said before he bowed

The waiter immediately exited from hi sight

"you don't have to do that.... "she said in a low voice

"why not? I don't want girls to be embarrassed by others especially people who had a good heart.... so just eat a lot, ok? t's my treat... "he said before he handed her a glass of wine

" but I am not yet hungry..."

" aaaiiissshhhh....."

"don't whine that you are not hungry....here, try this... "he said while trying to feed her some pasta

" ani, I can do it by myself..."she said shyly

"come on" he said sweetly

" araso.... "she said

she ate it and some sauces are into , he noticed it and wipe it with his hanky

she turned into crimson red and looked around, and she saw a bunch of people looking at them

"they are looking at us... feel uneasy...can we just leave now and go to some other places?" she begged

"but where are we going?"

" I can bring you in a place when you can show your real self and at the same time you will enjoy!!!! " she said before she giggled

Donghae can't help to smile when he saw the alluring smile of her

"so what are you waiting for? she said while standing up beside him

" mwo???" he said with a questioning look

" let's go!!! "she said while holding his hands and dragging him towards his car

They drive to the location where Jessica said to go

It was a videoke bar, and when Donghae saw it his jaw dropped

" mwo? you want me to go inside?"

" what's the problem with that?"

"you know that I am also famous just like you....what would the others think if they see me in this kind of place?"

"so? you are not coming? ok, bye!!!" she said before she waved to him goodbye

"I can go home by myself.... don't worry...."

He stayed in his place for a while before he follow her

" wait!!! "he said while running towards to her

" bleh!!!" she said before she run away from him and went inside

" yah!!! " he shouted while chasing her

After a tiring chase game of Donghaer and Jessica, they went into a private videoke room, from then a receptionist came in

"sir?"

"need any snack?" he looked at Jessica, when she saw him looking at her she turned into crimson red

" ice cream will do," she answered shortly

"bring all the delicious flavour here..."

When she heard it she can helped it but to smile at him

'are you that expert?"

" expert?"

"expert in impressing girls." she said that made him chuckled

"well....im not....and if I am an expert why did my girlfriend left me just for another guy?"

she saw again his sad eyes

"this is not the right time to be sad....we are here to enjoy!!! sing your heart out...." she said while inserting the number of her chosen song

She got the microphone

"for my new friend Donghae....this is for you...."

" thank you again for making me happy..." he said before he hugged her and while catching his breath

The two just continue to sing songs until dawn they didn't know that the receptionists are watching them

Receptionists1: weirdo....

Receptionist 2: silly...

After they sing their hearts out, they decided to seat down for a while...

"do i have dirt on my face?"

"oh?"he said while composing his self

"so how do you feel now?"

"i feel better..."

"are you sure? i hope i helped you..."

"of course...you did..."

"really?" she said with a big smile

" yeah, you did..."

"can i ask you something?"

" sure, what is it? "he said before he sipped on his drink

"how was your job? is it hard? saving other people lives?"

"hhhmmm... do you want to know the truth?"

Jessica nodded

"well, it is hard... especially when you didn't make it...to save him/her..."

"how do you see life?"

"i see life now with hope..."

" how..."

"because of people like you..."

" huh???"

" poeple....like you...who gives smiles in sad faces of people...

"that's to much...i'm just being myself..."

"i wish i met you before her..."

"who? your ex?"

"yeah, she just left in just a snapped...poor me.."

" at least you had your chance to find the one who is really meant for y...."she said before the light's got off

"aaahhhh!!!!"she shouted in fear

"don't move...i'll go to you..." he said while trying to find her in the dark

"i'm afraid in the dark? where are you?"

"just wait in there...'am finding my way..."

Suddenly Donghae got to her and sat beside her

" aaaiiisssshhhh......i'm here..."

He heard little sobs beside him

"are you crying?"

He said while fishing his phone on his pocket, then he opened it and flashed the little light on her and he saw her covering her face and crying

"ssshhh...i'm here..."he said while putting her arms in her

"darkness is really my weakness....i can't stand it..."

"ok, we will go now..held me in my hand.." he said while lending his hand on her

Jessica took it

They headed to the door but it's locked

"!!!" he said while turning the knob

"why?"

"the door is locked..."

"help!!!" she shouted while tapping the glass door but no one hears them

"Jessica stop, you might  hurt yourself..."

" but i want to go home..."

" but how? we are stocked here...remember..."

"but Donghae...i'm really afraid..."

"come on...let's go back in our seats..."

They sat beside each other and Donghae felt that Jessica is shivering

"are you ok?"

"no... "she sid in a low voice

Donghae got her head and out it on his shoulder and put his arm around her

"feel better?"

"yes.. Donghae..."

"hmmm?"

"thanks..."

"go to sleep, first... i just wake you up...when the door is open"

"ok..."she said before closing her eyes

"but i hoped it will not be open..."he whispered

"huh? what? did you say something?"

"no.nothing really..just  go back to sleep..."he said while putting her head back into place

Donghae brushed her soft hair with his fingers and looked at her

"why did she come to my life when exactly i feel down...Did you sent her for me? Is she the one for me? I hope she is..."

Suddenly Donghae fell asleep, his head was place on Jessica's head

Meanwhile thru out the night Jessica cannot sleep,she just pretend asleep to him

"I hope this dream has a happy ending..."

She looked at him and touched him on his face

" i think...i am falling for you..."She said before going also to sleep

After two hours of black out, the lights came up

"wake up..."

"hmmmm?" she said while opening her eyes

" i will take you home..."

"okay..."

They went outside and headed to his car, Donghae drive to a house near the  beach

"so this is your house..."

" yes.... "she said before she nod

" so i see you tomorrow?"

"huh? again?"

"i have a surprise for you..."

"eh? for what?"

"secret...tomorrow, wait for me at the beach. 5 am"

"5 am? too early?" she said while scratching her head

" no buts...araso."

:i'll go now...

"bye.... "he said before he waved

"bye..."she said before she also wave to him

Donghae start to drive and went home

When he got home he prepare everything: blankets, basket full of food, balloons and camera

After preparing he went too sleep

While Jessica is still outside their house

Jessica can't sleep thinking what would Donghae will do

It was 5 in the morning and in his surprise Jessica was already there

"wow, too early!!! "he shouted

Jessica turned around and she saw him carrying a basket, blanket and balloons

"what's that?"

"it's for our date..."

"date? and when i said we can date..."

"you don't remember, you said yes last night?"

"oh, me?" she said while pointing herself

"yeah, remember i told you to meet me here at 5...then you said yes..."

"from what i remember i said it's too early..."

"don't be too pushy..."

"me?" pushy?"

" just kidding... "he said while he is laying the blanket in the ground

"come on..." he said  while pulling her towards to him

"what's with the surprise?"

" i want to tell something..." he said while holding both of her hands

"wwwwwhhhhaaattt......." (0_O)

"i know we just met yesterday...but i think i love you..."

"but how did you love me? in that short period of time..."

"well, do you believe in finding the right one for you..."

Jessica nodded

"i see my soul mate from you..."

"but how about your ex - girlfriend?"

"what if she went back to you? what would you do? what if it was just an infatuation?"

"why do I leave the person who made me smile again...and teach me to sing the cute song...carrot song?"

"but I am not worth it... " she said before she turned her back to him

"waeyo?"

When he didn't hear any answer from her, he walked away

Before she answer, she made a big sighed

"it's just... i don't know..."

But when she didn't heard any respond from him, she turned around

She saw Donghae walking away

"Donghae..."she shouted

But he didn't turned around

"I need to do something... I love you too.... "she said to herself

Before Donghae can fully walk away, Jessica ran after him and hugged him from behind

" please...stay... "she said while crying

"I also love you... this is the first time I felt this kind of love..." she said while still hugging him

"me too... I don't know how did it happen but I felt that I love you..."

" I want to live... because of you..."

Donghae turned around and kissed her, Jessica responded from the kiss

After they kissed they went back to the shore

Jessica sat down the sand while Donghae is filling her feet with warm sand, while Jessica is throwing sand to him

"the sand tickles my feet..."she said before she giggled

"wait a minute... "he said before he stood up

"don't move"

"araso..."

Donghae took his camera

"smile!!! "he said before he took her a picture

Jessica smiled warmly and sweetly

Donghae took few snapshot of her

"stop it..." she said while blushing

Donghae pretended that he already keep the camera but from a far he took pictures of her secretly

"she is very beautiful... "he said to his self

"let's go... let's swim... "she called out...

Donghae placed his camera on the basket and ran after her

"catch me..." she said while running into the water

"here I come..."

They run after the waves and Donghae brought Jessica in princess style and he twirled her around and then throw her into the water

" yah!!! that hurts... "she said while making Donghae's head down into the water

"stop..". he said while catching his breath

Jessica giggled when she saw Donghae's face

"what are you laughing at?"

"nothing... merong..."

"really?" he asked before he tickle her

"yah!!! tickles are my weakness..."

"you gave me an idea... here I come... "he said while running after her just to tickle her to death

"stop that..." she said while running

Donghae is chasing her, when suddenly she stop running

"gotcha... "he said while hugging her from behind

"Do...Donghae..."

"you looked so pale? are you okay?"

"Donghae..." she said while catching her breath and putting her hands on her chest

When Jessica cannot hold anymore the pain, she fainted.

"Jessica... Jessica....."

But she didn't wake up

Donghae immediately carried her and went to his car, he opened the door and laid her down beside the driver seat then he went in

As he drive, his right hand was on her hand, holding it firmly

'Jessica,wake up..."

But she didn't woke up, he looked at her and he saw a lifeless face of her, so he drove faster until they reach the hospital

When they arrive a nurse approach him

"Doctor Lee, what happened..."the nurse said in surprise

"please, give me a stretcher!!!"

"araso... " the nurse said before he got one

Donghae opened the door and carry Jessca in princess style

"where is the stretcher..I need to save her.... I need to save her!" he shouted

Everyone in the hospital was looking at him strangely

"here you go sir...where is the patient?"

"ready the ER!"he shouted while placing Jessica in the stretcher

The nurse got confused

"but..." the nurse hesitated

"don't just stand there...help me..."he said while pushing the stretcher

" but doctor...where is the patient?"

"there she is??? "he said before he turned her head to her

But in his surprise, Jessica was not in there

"where did she go?" he asked the nurse

"no one is there doctor...since you came here...you acted strange like you are carrying something but I didn't see someone..."

Donghae eyes widened in shocked

"but...I am with....."

Suddenly his collogue and ex girlfriend is shouting, she was also a doctor

"please rush miss Jung in the E.R." Yoona shouted

When Donghae turned around he saw Jessica in bed with oxygen mask came from a private room

When Donghae saw her his knees felt weak

"doctor, are you okay? you seem saw a ghost?"

"i'm with her...she is the one I just rushed here a while ago...how did she go to the room..."

"huh? doctor Lee, what are you saying? she was admitted here 6 months ago... and she was in coma right now...and just a while ago her heart stop...that's why doctor Im rushed her..."

When he heard it he run to the emergency room

And watched her revived by Yoona from a small window outside the E.R

Suddenly inside the E.R.

"what is he looking at here" she asked the nurse when she saw Donghae from the outside

"I don't know... "she said while injecting something from Jessica

Suddenly the nurse that Donghae talked a while ago went in

"doctor Im...I called already her omma...they will come here as soon as possible..."

"do you know...why Donghae is there?"

"his weird...actually he just suddenly arrived...he said that he went here because he rushed a person?"

" who?"she said while putting her mask on

"her..." the nurse said while pointing to Jessica

" huh?"

"I don't know...just ask him later..."

The surgery begin while Donghae is waiting outside, sitting on a bench

"God, please save her

She is the only one I have now...

I don't know what just happened...

But I know you did it on purpose

So please give her back to me

She is my life now... (he said to his mind while reminiscing their moments together)

And I can't live without her

She is the only person I want to grow old with...." he prayed

Then after his reminiscing and deep thought, tears fell from his eyes and all he can see is Jessica back of his mind

When he got an idea to answer his question

"I need to find some answers in my own questions..."

He hurriedly got up from his seat and run to his car, he headed to their first place where he brought her. In the restaurant

He entered the restaurant and a waiter, who assisted them that day, approached him

"sir, good morning..." the waiter greeted

"table for two???" he asked

 "ani.." he answered

"I want you to do me a favor..." he instructed

"what favor, sir???" the waiter asked

"you have cctv here, right???" he cleared out

 "yes, sir but...." The waiter said

Donghae handed him a cash and whispered

" I just need to look for something..." he said in a cold voice

"araso... "

"this way, sir..." the waiter said as he lead the way

The waiter lead him to a room where the cctv was placed

"here we are, sir..." he said before he closed the door

" wait..."

"do you have your previous tapes like day ago..." Donghae asked

"yes, sir... "

The waiter went to a shelf full of cd's

"oh, here it is... "he said while he handling him the cd

Donghae got it and he sat down on a chair facing in the computer

Before the waiter closed the door

"I hoped I helped you...." He said before he leave

Donghae gulped first before he inserted the cd

After a few minutes it played, he fast forward it, and play again when he reached at the moment he is entering in the restaurant, from then his eyes widened, he saw only himself talking to the waiter and approaching in the table, he saw himself talking but there is no one he talk to, he saw people looking at him weirdly

From then he stopped the cd and burst in crying

"aaahhh....." he shouted and before he punched the table

" why is it happening to me..."

He closed his eyes and saw Jessica's face the first time they met

His tears keep coming as he remember how Jessica make him happy

He fell asleep for a while when the waiter approached him

"sir, wake up...."

" you need to go now..." the waiter said to him

Donghae walked up and exited from the restaurant, he went to his car and headed to his next destination

At the videoke bar where he and Jessica went to after their dinner

He again asked if he can watch the video that the cctv caught that day, from then he only saw himself singing and acting like a fool talking to his self, he again cried and concluded something

"I need to go back to the hospital..." he said to himself

He exited to the videoke bar and headed to the hospital

He saw a women waiting outside the E.R., where he used to wait earlier, she looks elegant and rich

He sat beside her and talked to her

"anyonghaeseyo..." he said before he bowed

"anyonghaeseyo... " the woman replied

"do you know the patient inside the E.R.???" he asked

"yes, she is my daughter..." she answer

"you???" she asked

"I just met her...." Donghae said

 "a day ago...."

The women's eyes widened

"don't make any jokes like that..." the woman warned him

"I'm not joking..." Donghae sincerely answer

The women saw his sincerity in his eyes

"how did it happen..." she said

" I really don't know..." he said in this belief

"all I just remember is...."

He was interrupted when they saw nurses and doctor rushing to the E.R.

They both stood up from their seats and lean on the glass window, there tears fell as they saw how did they wanted to revive her, all of a sudden hardship of reviving her it paid off, her life meter in the machine went back, they all got relief but not with Donghae

After a while Yoona went outside and talked to Donghae

"what is your relationship to her??? " she asked

"it's out of your business..." he replied coldly

"but I still love you..." Yoona shouted

"really???" he asked

"don't play with me, Yoona...I don't love you anymore...I'm in love with someone else..."

Upon hearing him say that, he immediately hugged him from behind

"please..." she pleaded

"when I saw your worried face on her...it made me feel very jealous...I know I made a mistake but please give me another chance..."

" I think that's too much to ask..." he elaborated

"you are the one who leave me...are you not happy with him? maybe you find yours in the right time but it's not me..."he said while untying her hands

He left Yoona from where she is standing and went in to Jessica's room

From there he saw the woman he use to talk to a while ago

"excuse me..." he asked again

"what can I do for you???" she asked while shoving her fingers in her daughters hair

"can I have a spare time with her... alone..." he requested

The Women looked at him and smiled but before she go she tapped him in his shoulder

"whoever you are..." the woman said

"I know that my daughter knew you..."

Donghae smiled to her before she fully get outside the room

He slowly making his stepped near her and looked at her pale face

"hi???" he greeted

But he didn't heard response from her, he was like a retarded talking to someone who he knew cannot answer at this point

He sit in the chair where Jessica's mom sat, he touched her hand and hold it for a long time and started to speak

"I don't know what just happened between the two of us..." he started

"but I make sure I'll do everything to cure you"

"Understand" he instructed as if he was her boyfriend to commanded her like that

"I know there is purpose for us to meet"

"the first thing I will do when you wake up is I will court you immediately"

"I know it is too fast but that's the way I feel right now"

"sa rang he" he said before he kissed her on the lips

He smiled after kissing her

tears run down from jessica's eyes, she was like responding from what she heard from Donghae but

He held her around his arms, hugging her tightly

 

“you are the greatest thing happened in my life…” he said while crying and hugging her cold body
