After that separation we still tend to contact each other as often as we can, we exchange calls and emails but those are just temporary, those leads to sometimes until it landed to end

It’s been 3 years and 7 months since he was away, while I was alone and felt lonely for all this time, sometimes I felt giving up for waiting for him but they say patience is a virtue, and true love can wait, and I can do that with the help of my friends

“Sica, someone send an invitation…” Tiffany, who lives with me since Donghae left, handed it to me

Tears are starting to come out it is because of happiness, he is finally back, and I think he will surprise me

“tiffany!!! Hae is back…” I shouted that made her run to me

“chinja? Oh my god!!!” she squealed

“I know right? AAAHHHH!!!” we both shouted in happiness as we both jump and span around

Then we stop and she hugged me

“I’m so so so so happy for you….” she still squealed and squashes me into a tighter hug

Then the day came that I was waiting for a long time, he still keep his promise, he will come back and he will marry me, tiffany accompany me to the hotel ; as we  arrived I saw Siwon, who become our close friend for these past few years, he protected and took care of us, we three are like the best of friends. He was too invited, I wonder why? 

“let’s go my pretty partners…” he said as he made my arms tugged in his right while tiffany was in his right

The receptionist assisted us to our assigned seats; it was just beside form another table near the stage, I looked around and I saw some familiar faces, my clients before and some are hallyu stars that are married under my supervision as a wedding planner, they are happy and contented to have each other, my eyes roamed around the place’s interior; it was so elegant, I wonder what is this event all about.

Visitors are busy chit-chatting when the lights turn off and only a spot light lit the stage and two figures walk out from the dim part of the stage, their hands were intertwine and it fits perfectly

“Dong….DongHae…..” I stuttered while still trying to absorb what am I seeing right now

“Sica?” Tiffany aid as she rubs my back for comfort

Then the MC handed the microphone  to him

“good evening everyone…” he greeted

I was just dumbfounded and dead in my place at that time

“as you know, my Yoona here and I are getting married this winter and we are back to celebrate it with you… I am lucky to have Yoona as my girlfriend and soon to be other half….” He stated happily as he wrapped his arms around her

“enjoy the night everyone….” He finished and everyone applauded to the couple

They both went off the stage and it hurts me to see how he care and assisted Yoona to go down and in my surprised they are slowly making their way to us, I sighed deeply and tried to control my emotions

“Jessica…” he called that made me stood up and face them

“Hae….” I said hiding my sadness

“hi tiffany and Siwon….” He greeted them happily and the two just smile

“anyway, Yoona I like you to meet my Best Friend Jessica….” He said as he pinched my cheeks like what he always did before

“oh, hi…. I heard a lot about you… I’m Yoona…” she said as she gives me a light hug

“nice to meet you, Yoona…” I said as I replied to her hug, I looked at Hae who was standing behind Yoona smiling to me

then we broke the hug as she excuse herself to attend to their other guests, then we sat back in our table and DongHae joined to us, I was just silent all the time, not looking to him

“so, how are you, guys? It’s been years since we saw each other!!!” he exclaimed happily

“I’m fine…” Tiffany answered

“wow, Fany! You become more gorgeous, I bet a lot of guys are drooling over you…” he joked

“DongHae oppa, you are still the same… always teasing me…” Tiffany tried to answered in an awkward manner

“how about you bro?” he now turned his attention to Siwon

“I’m good….” He answered shortly before he sips hi liquor

“ I see…” he said then I can sense he was looking at me

“Sica~” he called my attention

“how are you?” he asked me while smiling to me and it hurts me seeing happy not because of me

“oppa~ I need to go… I’m not feeling well, nice to see you again…” I said as I stood up and bowed

Then our eyes met, it’s been a while since I saw those beautiful eyes of him, then I turned around and was about to walk away

“I’ll take you home…” he said as he grabbed my wrist and make me faced him

I was about to refuse but he cut me off

“I’ll just tell Yoona and get my keys, wait for me here…” he said before he went out of the hall

After a few minutes he comeback and I saw him approached Yoona and whisper something, then all I saw was Yoona wrapped her arms around DongHae’s neck and they kissed passionately before they let go, then all of a sudden they both looked at my direction and Yoona waved and mouthed “Thank you for coming…” and I just smiled and nodded but deep inside I was about to collapsed, I felt defeated, then he went to us and bid goodbye to Tiffany and Siwon and DongHae harshly pulled me out

Our trip way back to OUR MY home, I was just silent, until he decided to broke it

“how are you?” he asked again

….

“how’s work?” he still pursued

….

“do you have a boyfriend now?”

….

Then he stopped the car and banged the steering wheel

“WHAT’S YOUR DAMN PROBLEM? WHY ARE OU NOT ANSWERING ME!!!” he shouted to me, he used English this time

I looked at him with my sorrowful eyes and I started to tear up

“omo~ you are still such a cry baby…” he saidas he tried to pull me into a hug, he was so insensitive

“DongHae…. You’d change… please leave me alone…” I said as I pushed him and went down the car

“hey!!! What’s with you? I’m back…” he said as he pulled me to face him

SLAPPED!!!

“did you forget me? Did you forget your promise? Marrying me?” I said as I pulled my arms back

“Jessica… everything change? I didn’t expect to fall in love with someone else…” he finally admitted

“it’s okay… go on with your life…I’ll go with mine… be happy…” I retorted back

“but I want us to be friends, I want you to be our brides maid” he had the guts to invite me

“you didn’t get it, don’t you?” I asked him again

“I’m sorry…” he only muttered

“DongHae… I just want to tell that I love….” I said but I was cut off when he answered his phone

“oh, okay… I’ll be back…. I love you…” he said to the person who was in the other line, and It’s Yoona

DongHae’s POV

After I talked to Yoona, and turned my attention to Sica again, I saw her walking away, I want to hug and stop her from leaving but I love Yoona now

Jessica’s POV

As I walked and think about what had just happened to me and DongHae oppa, I tripped and my heels are broken

“DAMN!!!!” I shouted in the silence of the night in the park

I sat down on a bench and took my heels off and stared to it for a while, and then I cried with all my might

“hey, are you okay?” someone asked me while offering  his hanky to me

I looked up and a young man was in my front, he looked rich, I just ignored him by looking away

“tsk… some girls thought that they look cute when they cry, but in your case ms., I don’t know? He teased me

“leave me alone…” I said as I stood up and walk away from that stranger

I was walking fast just to get away from him and I felt someone grabbed me from my waist and slid his other arms under my legs and brought me into princess style

“WAHH!!!” I shouted

“your feet are sore and I don’t want your feet to get dirty…” he said with care as he look at me in my eyes

I wrapped my arms around his neck and rested my head on the crook of his neck and cried like a baby in his arms

“I’m here to listen… just cry… I won’t go…” he said as he walked to his car
