Scenerio: You meet Junhyung at a coffee shop and fall in love
Genre: Romcom angst happy ending
Barely noticed. That’s how people people would describe the twenty years old Lee Hyesu. And to be quite honest, she enjoyed her peaceful life although there were times she wished people could notice her. But she has Kim Hyunah, her ever so noisy and loud best friend. She wouldn’t be able to experience the life of a normal college students if it weren’t for Hyunah. Hyesu knows her best friend loves her a lot and wishes nothing but the best for her. That’s probably why she stormed into her bedroom at 8 in the morning and shoved her into the bathroom to take a shower.
“Hyunah, I need more sleep.” She whined and rubbed her eyes.
The cold water doesn’t help her stay awake. And Hyesu slowly drifted back to sleep as Hyunah dried of her newly dyed hair, a result of Hyunah’s constant nagging. Hyunah clucked her tongue when she noticed Hyesu is no longer awake but continued to dry her hair before moving on to her make-up.
“Wha— Make up? HYUNAHHH.” Hyesu lazily opened her eyes and tried to escape Hyunah’s deathly grip.
“It’s only a little make up, Hyesu. Sit tight or i’ll take that book voucher of yours.” She threatened.
At the mention of her precious voucher, Hyesu stopped moving and let Hyunah do her job. 1 hour later, she was done. Her hair is in a loose braids, her face looks flawless - the result of little foundation and BB Cream- and she’s now wearing a one piece dress Hyunah brought her. A cream colored short dress that reached just above her knees and a pair of ballet shoes she bought the other day.
“Perfect.” Hyunah proudly beamed at her hard work.
“Why am I dolled up?” Hyesu asked when Hyunah rummaged through her wardrobe and took out a small black handbag and handed it to her.
“You have a blind date!” Hyunah turned around with huge smile on her face, ignoring Hyesu’s shocked face.
“WHAT?!”

Yong Junhyung woke up earlier than usual. He has been having trouble sleeping and it keeps getting worse. Ever since he broke up with Goo Hara, he hasn’t been the same. He knows he has moved on but after the stunt she pulled, junhyung wasn’t sure if he could open up to another person. It has been a year and yet he still lives his day cautiously, as if someone would suddenly comes up and break his heart all over again. He’s not going to risk that. Not after his hard work trying to put it back together again.
His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the rapid knocking on his apartment’s door. He let out a silent curse and dragged his feet towards the front door, finding his best friend Yoseob, waving at him with his usual cheerful face.
“Well, morning to you too.” Yoseob sarcastically greeted him.
“What are you doing, Yoseob?”
“Well… we kinda ran out of coffee so after a long discussion, we’re sending you to buy some coffee for us.” He grinned and shoved him a piece of paper.
“What discussion?” Junhyung grumbled.
“Dongwoon, Doojoon, Hyunseung, Kikwang and Me! You lived alone so it would take too long to wait for you.” yoseob replied.
“Fine. You guys owe me one.” Junhyung sighed and walked back to his room to get changed.

Junhyung entered the coffee shop an hour later, after taking a walk near Han River. The boys can wait, he thought as he approached the barista.
“Morning! what can I get you?” She gave him a big fake smile and Junhyung couldn’t help but to sympathize her.
The coffee shop is the only cafe that open at 6 in the morning. The only coffee shop that does that is in the next neighborhood and Junhyung can see the tiredness in her eyes even though she tried so hard to conceal it with her friendly smile.
“We’ll call your name when your order’s out.” She gave him the change and he took his coffee and sat on one of the couch at the corner of the shop while they make the rest of the coffee for take away.
This is going to take a long time, he sighed when he realized there are quite a lot of people in the shop waiting for their order. He was into 15 minutes of waiting and in the verge of dozing off when the door suddenly opened and a familiar girl entered the shop. She has platinum blond hair and is wearing punk-style clothes, which is not his style. He focused his attention on the girl when she kept standing near the entrance with her arms stretched outside as if pulling something and few minutes later, another girl entered the shop. She almost tripped as her friend pulled her inside. She has brown hair-the same tone as his- and is wearing a very feminine clothing, which caught his attention. But what made him keep staring at her is how her friend seems to be lecturing her and gave her an encouraging smile before she left her alone.
Junhyung watched her took a deep breath and look around the shop. She keeps mumbling some incoherent words before her eyes rested on him. He was taken aback by the warmth in her eyes despite her nervous expression. He stayed silent as she walked closer to him.
“Um, are you Hyunah’s friend?” She timidly asked.
Hyunah, that name ring a bell, he thought and nodded when he realized that punk girl is actually one of her former classmate kim Hyunah. The girl let out a small sigh of relief before giving him a warm smile.
“You can sit here, if you want.” Junhyung returned the smile and pushed the chair in front of him.

Hyesu was getting more nervous as they approached the coffee shop. She was sure Hyunah could feel her trembling by the look on her face and how she managed to trip over air for the nth times. Hyunah only shook her head and stopped in front of the coffee shop and turned around. She laughed at Hyesu’s nervous face and pulled her inside, which turns out to be a very hard work because scared Hyesu can be quite strong-willed. When she finally pulled her inside, she grip Hyesu’s shoulder and gave her an encouraging smile.
“What does he look like, Hyunah?” Hyesu asked.
“Brown hair like yours but short, tall, handsome and is wearing black shirt. That’s what I told him to wear. Okay, good luck, Hyesu. You deserve a good boyfriend and this man is perfect for you. Tell me about the date when you’re back!” She beamed and left her alone on the coffee shop.
Hyesu watched her best friend leave and let out a nervous sigh. Her eyes started to roam around the coffee shop, looking for the man that fits Hyunah’s descriptions. When she turned towards the last corner, she finally saw a man similar to the descriptions. She slowly walked towards him and took a deep breath before asking him if he’s Hyunah’s friend. When he finally said yes, she couldn’t help but to take in his appearance. He’s quite good looking, she thought as she watched him smiled. He definitely is Hyunah’s friend, she continued thinking as he offered her a seat, which she took almost immediately. Walking for so long can be tiring.
“My name’s Junhyung.” the man pulled out his hand and she quickly shook it due to her extreme nervousness, which caused him to chuckle.
“I’m Lee Hyesu. Um, nice to meet you.” She managed to let out a proper introduction.
Despite his bad boy exterior, Hyesu finds Junhyung to be a very nice person. She can even feel her heart beats faster when he smiled or let out a hearty laugh. She tried to shook away the thought though, since she has always thought love at first sight is ridiculous. But here she is, completely smitten by the man she just met. And she wonders if he felt the same.
The hours went by very quick. Hyesu surprised herself when she can be very talkative in front of Yong Junhyung. He made her feel comfortable and happy. And she doesn’t have to worry if he would forget about her existence when other girls passed by. Both of them only stop their conversation when they heard a man sitting behind her complained and left the coffee shop in annoyance. She made a mental note to thank Hyunah for forcing her to go to this blind date.

Lee Hyesu is an amazing woman, Junhyung concluded as he walked her back from the coffee shop. He finally realized that she was the quiet girl that has always been by Hyunah. He never really noticed her but right now, he can see how beautiful she is. Unlike his ex, who was covered in make up to look pretty, Hyesu can beat Hara even with her bare face, he thought. He saw her blush when their hands accidentally touch and the thoughts of her having the same feeling made him feel giddy inside. Her presence gives a calming feeling and he likes that.
She looked at him with her brown eyes and let out a soft yes when he did. Her lean fingers danced on the keypad as she put her number into his phone.
“Hyesu, will you go out with me again?” He asked.
His lips curved into a huge smile when she finally nodded and gave her a smile. He grinned and say his goodbyes, before walking away from her home.
He was engrossed in his daydream with his new profound love when his phone ring. He quickly answer it, thinking it was Hyesu.
“Hello?”
“WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!!!!” Yoseob shrieked from the other side of the phone.
He winced and rubbed his ear before slapping his head. He completely forgot about their coffees and left the coffee shop without taking them.
“Sorry, I met someone and forgot about it. I’ll buy you guys dinner.” He said.
“Someone? A girl?” Yoseob excitedly asked.
“No one you know. Bye.”

As expected, Hyunah was already sitting on her bed with a bright face. She gave her a smile and changed into a more comfortable clothes before plopping next to her.
“So?”
“It was great. I had a great time with him. He’s the best, Hyunah. He even asked me out again! Thank you.” Hyesu sincerely said.
“That’s awesome! I haven’t been able to reach Jiho’s number but i bet he’s as happy as you.”
The foreign name caused Hyesu to tilted her head in confusion.
“Jiho?”
“Did he say he’s Zico? He’s always like that. His name is Woo Jiho.” Hyunah waved it away.
“Um..” Hyesu’s panicked look caused her to stop texting Jiho and turned to her.
“What’s wrong?”
“I didn’t meet him. I thought his name is Yong Junhyung. He said we were schoolmates.”
Hyunah opened but no words came out when she saw her best friend’s face. She looks so happy and Hyunah doesn’t want to ruin that. So she closed and smiled.
“Yong Junhyung, huh?” She grinned and laughed as she watched Hyesu blushed.
“That’s good. If he makes you happy, I’m happy.” Hyunah smiled.
“yeah.” Hyesu grinned and both of them giggled when Hyesu’s phone beeped, signaling an incoming text from Junhyung.
