Chapter 1

 

 

Yoona’s POV

 

‘ Argh~~~~my head ’ I open my eyes then I saw a blond girl sleeping next to me

 

I slowly get off the bed and put my clothes on. After wearing my clothes, I slowly get out of the room. When I’m in my car my phone rings.

 

‘ Yes Hyo ’

 

‘ Yoong, don’t forget we start school tomorrow ’

 

‘ I know, you don’t have to call me every day to remind me ’ I shake  my head

 

‘ This year is different, is our last year of university. Don’t cause any trouble ’

 

‘ Hey, I never cause trouble ’

 

‘ You flirt and slept with almost every girl in our school. ’

 

‘ Is not my fault that they give themselve to me ’

 

‘ You better listen to me or Sunny will give a big lesson ’

 

‘ Fine ’

 

‘ By the way, are you coming home? ’

 

‘ Yes, I’m driving home now ’

 

‘ Then I’ll see you later ’ then she hangs up

 

Kim Hyoyeon, one of my bestfriend. We share the same apartment with my other two best friends Kim Taeyeon and Lee Sunny. Talking about my bestfriend, their family owns Korea top 3 companies. Well you must ask, how can I be friend with those rich people, hehehe because I’m rich too but no body knows my background except them. My family owns the biggest shopping mall in Asia. My parents live in Japan and I’m studying in Korea. I don’t wanna let people know about my family background because if they know they will find a way to approach me just like her……….

 

I finally arrive home, when I open the door, I saw Sunny looking at me.

 

‘ Morning Sunny. ’ I quickly hug her

 

‘ Wae? Are you mad at me? ’ I use my ageyo

 

‘ I’m not mad at you Yoong. I just want you to make sure that you are ready for tomorrow class ’

 

‘ Of course I’m ready ’ I lie

 

‘ I’m not stupid. You better get ready for tomorrow or else I will tell auntie and uncle……. ’

 

‘ Yoong is really ready for tomorrow ’ Tae walks out from the kitchen with plates in her hands

 

‘ Tae~~~~~ ’ I hug her happily

 

‘ You better get ready before Sunny found out the truth ’ Tae whispers

 

‘ Thank you ’ I whisper back

 

‘ Since when you prepare everything? ’ Sunny didn’t buy it

 

‘ Yesterday ’

 

‘ You just come back this morning ’

 

‘ I prepared it last night before I went out ’

 

‘ You…… ’

 

‘ Yoong must be hungry, let’s eat first ’ Tae saves me again

 

‘ Tae, don’t spoil her ’ Hyo comes in

 

‘ Yoong, I heard there will be a new student in our class this year ’

 

‘ Is it a girl? ’ I ask

 

‘ Yes ’ Hyo answers

 

‘ Hmm….I wonder if she is beautiful ’

 

‘ Yah~~~~Im Yoona I told you, don’t cause trouble ’

 

I gulp ‘ I’m just kidding ’

 

‘ We heard that she is the heiress of W hotel ’ Tae said

 

‘ W hotel? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ That’s mean we are richer than her? ’ I ask

 

‘ Of course pabo ’ Sunny hit my head with her folk

 

‘ I will become stupid if you continue hitting my head ’ Yoong pouts

 

Hyo chuckles ‘ If you don’t wanna be stupid then don’t fool around ’

 

‘ Argh~~~~just leave me alone. I’m hungry, can we eat now ’ Yoong starts to eat

 

Jessica’s POV

 

I open my eye and I saw the bed side empty. I look around and all her clothes all gone.

 

Will I see her again?

 

Yuri’s POV

 

‘ Yul, are you ready for tomorrow class? ’ Hyomin asks

 

‘ Yes Hyomin-ah. Where’s Fany? ’ I aks

 

‘ She’s in her room ’

 

We walk to Tiffany’s room

 

‘ What are you doing? ’ Hyomin asks

 

‘ Some research ’ Fany’s eyes are glue on the computer screen

 

‘ What research, class starts tomorrow ’ I ask

 

‘ Finish ’ Fany said then print something

 

She shows us a list

 

‘ What’s this? ’ Hyomin asks

 

‘ Hey, I’m not rich as you two. All I want is to marry a rich guy and have a lot of money to spend ’

 

‘ Ok, then why you show us this list ’

‘ Read the name on it ’ Fany said

 

Hyomin takes the paper from me ‘ Kim Taeyeon, Lee Sunny, Kim Hyoyeon and Im Yoona ’

 

‘ What about them? ’ I ask

 

Fany shakes her head ‘ Kim Taeyeon, Lee Sunny and Kim Hyoyeon are the heiress of Korea top 5 companies heiress ’

 

‘ So? ’ Hyomin asks

 

‘ Have you listen to me ’ Fany crossed her arms

 

‘ You said all you want is getting married with rich guy ’ I answer

 

‘ Have you heard me they are the heiress of the top 5 companies in Korea that’s mean their are extremely rich especially this Kim Taeyeon. She is the heiress of the Kim’s Corporation ’ Fany said excitedly

 

‘ But she is a girl ’ Hyomin said

 

‘ I don’t mind. The most important thing is she have the money I want and she is even richer than the guy ’ Fany said

 

‘ Stop dreaming Tiffany Hwang. The campus is so big that you won’t have a chance to meet her ’ I said

 

‘ Yah~~~Can I just dream? ’

 

‘ Who is Im Yoona? ’ I ask

 

‘ Im Yoona is a big player ’

 

‘ Is she rich? ’ Hyomin asks

 

‘ No ’ Fany shrugs

 

‘ Then why her on the list ’ Hyomin asks

 

‘ Because she is Kim Taeyeon, Lee Sunny and Kim Hyoyeon best friend ’

 

‘ You said she is a player ’

 

‘ Yes, a moneyless player ’ Fany said

 

‘ I hate player ’ I said the throw the paper back to Fany

 

‘ Hey, be careful with this paper. My future depend on this paper ’ Fany said

 

‘ Whatever ’ I was about to walk out of her room then my phone rang

 

‘ Argh~~~~can he stop bothering ’ I said

 

‘ You should give a chance to Minho, he is courting you for more than two years ’ Fany teases

 

‘ Yah~~You know I don’t have feeling for him. How can I chase him away ’ I said

 

‘ Yul, just answer the phone first ’

 

‘ No ’ I press the end button

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Jessica just walk into her apartement then

 

‘ WAHHHHHHHH~~~~~~~~~SOO THERE’S A BIG SPIDER IN THE LIVING ROOM ’ I scream

 

In less than 30 seconds, Soo runs into Sica’s apartment

 

‘ Where’s is it? ’ Soo asks

 

‘ There ’ Sica points at the couch

 

Soo kills the spider

 

‘ Done ’

 

‘ I don’t know what to do without you here ’ Sica hugs Soo

 

‘ I will be always here to protect you ’ Soo said

 

‘ I know because you are my best friend in this world. I’m so happy that you bought the apartment next to me ’ Sica smiles

 

‘ I bought the apartment next to yours because I know you can take care of yourself. So instead of driving 30 minutes to come is better to just walk a few second to come here ’ Soo said

 

‘ You are so perfect, I don’t understand why you don’t have a girlfriend ’

‘ I’m not ready to be in a relationship ’ Soo said

 

‘ Why? ’ Sica asks

 

‘ Hey, where were you last night? ’ Soo changes the subject

 

‘ Soo, I need to tell you something ’ Sica drags Soo on the couch

 

Soo chuckles ‘ Don’t tell me that you are falling in love ’ Soo jokes

 

‘ How do you know? ’ Sica blushes

 

Soo smiles fades ‘ Is that true? ’

 

Sica nods

 

‘ Who is she? ’

 

‘ I don’t know ’

 

‘ What do you mean you don’t know? ’

 

‘ I met her at the club last night and we...hmm….you know ’ Sica’s face redden

 

‘ You slept with someone you don’t even know ’ Soo asks in disbelief

 

‘ Why are you so mad? ’ Sica asks

 

‘ I’m not ’

 

‘ Yes, you are ’

 

‘ Fine, I’m mad because you slept with someone you don’t know. Sica, I lo…..I mean I’m your bestfriend I don’t want you to get hurt ’

 

‘ I know you want to protect me ’ Sica cupped Soo’s face

 

‘ Bring her to me ’ Soo said

 

‘ I don’t know where she is ’ Sica looks on the floor

 

‘ What do you mean? ’

 

‘ When I woke up she’s gone ’

 

‘ YAH~~~~~~JESSICA JUNG ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND. YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH A PLAYER AND HAVE WITH HER ’ Soo yells

 

‘ Soo, what happen to you? ’

 

‘ I’M MAD BECAUSE I……BECAUSE I…….. ’

 

‘ Because you what? ’

 

‘ Nothing. I’m going back to my place ’ with this words, Soo stomps out of Sica’s apartment

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

I’m so angry to know that Sica gaves herself to a player and fall in love with her. I can’t control myself and yells at her.

 

After a stomp back in my apartment, tears fall down

 

Why you can’t see that I love you Jessica Jung? How can you fall in love so easily with a person you just met. I’m by your side all thoses years and I even give up the opportunity to work at my dream lawyer firm in L.A. just to stay with you………..Why you just consider me as your best friend……..

 

I heard the door open, I quickly wipe my tears and I feel someone backhugging me. I know is Sica

 

‘ Soo, I’m sorry. Please don’t be mad at me ’

 

I sigh

 

I love you so much that I can’t be mad at you…….

 

‘ I’m not mad at you ’ I said

 

‘ You lie ’

 

‘ I’m not ’ I said still my back facing her

 

I really wanna hug her but I don’t want her to see my swallow eyes.

 

‘ Sica, can you go back to your place I’m tired ’

 

I heard her sobbing. I turn to face her and I saw her crying. I hug her

 

‘ Shhh…….I’m sorry to yell at you. Please don’t cry ’

Please don’t cry, is hurting seeing you crying…..

 

‘ Soo, I can’t stand you be mad at me. Is the first time you raise your voice at me. I know you are very angry ’ she said while sobbing

 

‘ Sica, I’m really not mad at you. I’m mad at the person who leave you alone in the hotel. Please stop crying ’ Seeing her like this tears fall downs from my cheeks

 

Jessica’s POV

 

I’m crying in Soo’s arms because she is mad at me. Then I feel my shoulder getting wet when I look up I saw Soo crying. I know is because of me that she is like this. Soo is a though women and she never cry.

 

‘ I’m sorry Soo. I’ll stop crying please don’t cry ’ I wipe her tears

 

Soo hugs me tightly

 

‘ I’m sorry Sica for yelling at you ’

 

‘ I forgive you ’ I hug her back

 

After a while, we pull off the hug

 

‘ Sica, I’m really fine. I’ll see you tomorrow at work ’ Soo smiles but I know she is just faking a smile to make me feel better.

 

I nod

 

‘ I’ll see you tomorrow. Good night Sica ’ Soo kiss my forehead

 

‘ Good night Soo ’

 

I lay on the bed feeling bad.

 

Soo is always there for me when I need her but all I did is making her cry. I don’t know why but seeing her crying my heart hurt maybe she is my best friend…………Everytime Soo hugs me I feel safe in her arms that’s why we are best friend for all those years. I’m so happy that Soo accepted to be our lawyer, so I can see her almost every day. Well I see her every day since she is leaving next to me but just love the feeling when she is near me. I wonder if everyone have this kind of feeling when they are with their bestfriend?

 

I went out off the bed, when I look at the miror I saw the hickey on my neck. I chuckle

 

‘ Where are you right now? ’

 

Sunny’s POV

 

I was arranging my bedroom then I saw a picture of me and her. I stare at the picture then I feel someone taps my shoulder

 

‘ What are you staring at? ’ Hyo asks

 

‘ Nothing ’ I put the picture back in the drawer

 

Hyo sighs

 

‘ You are thinking about her right? ’

 

‘ No ’

 

‘ Don’t lie. Sunny, she left 8 years ago without saying a words. I remember how sad you were when we first met. Can you please move on and forget about her ’

 

‘ I tried but I can’t. She is my first love, well even if I didn’t confess ’

 

‘ What if she won’t come back? ’

 

‘ …………… ’

 

‘ Sunny, you are my best friend I just wanna see you happy and find someone who deserve you ’

 

‘ I will Hyo, just give me more time ’

 

Hyomin’s POV

 

I’m preparing my stuff for tomorrow class. I begged my parents to let me finish my study here in Korea because I need to find her. I left 8 years ago without a word because my parents have some problem with their business. Now I need to find her and tell her how I feel toward her. I just hope she will forgive me about the sudden leave.

 

* Knock *

 

‘ Come in ’

 

The door opens and Yul smiles at me

 

‘ Hyomin, what are you doing? ’

 

‘ I’m preparing my stuff for tomorrow ’ I smile

 

‘ Have you find her? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ Not yet ’

 

Yul hugs me ‘ Don’t worry, I will help you ’

 

‘ Thank you Yul ’

 

‘ What’s her name again? ’

 

‘ Lee Soon-Kyo ’
