Chapter 6

 

After dinner

 

‘ You are really a great cook Soo ’ Yoona smiles

 

‘ If you like, I can cook for you every day ’ Soo suddenly blurted out ‘ I mean you can come to my place so I can cook for you ’

 

‘ I really love too but you are busy person ’

 

Soo head low

 

‘ How about if you have schedule I’ll cook for you at my place and if you are free you cook for me at your place? ’

 

‘ At your place, but your wife…. ’ Soo said sadly

 

‘ Have you forget, I have my own appartment. We already talked about this matter. We will just act like a couple in front of our parents. So I don’t see the problem with me being friend with you ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Really? ’ Soo asks

 

‘ Yes ’

 

They talk for another hour

 

‘ Is late. I’m going home ’ Yoong said

 

‘ I’ll send you ’ Soo takes the car key on the table.

 

Inside the car

 

‘ Soo, I’m so happy to meet you. I know we only met yesterday but I feel like we know each other for ages. I’m so happy to have a friend like you ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Me too ’ Soo smiles

 

Soo’s car stop in front of the building.

 

‘ Soo, do you want to come in? ’

 

‘ Is late now. Maybe next time ’

 

‘ Ok, then I’ll see you in two months ’ Yoong said

 

Soo hugs Yoong ‘ Yes ’

 

‘ Don’t forget to call me ’ Yoong returns the hug

 

‘ I will ’ Soo slowly pull off the hug and give Yoong a kiss on her forehead ‘ Go inside is late ’

 

Yoong nods ‘ Have a save trip ’

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

Like always, I know Sunny is at my place right now helping me to pack some clothes. The moment I walk in I saw Sunny smiles at me

 

‘ How’s your dinner with Yoona? ’

 

‘ Great until I found out she is going to get married ’

 

‘ She is engaged? ’

 

I just nod

 

‘ What are you going to do? ’

 

‘ I won’t give up on her ’ I said

 

‘ What? Soo wake up. She is getting married. You are not a person who will break people relationship ’ Sunny said

 

‘ This time is different ’

 

‘ What do you mean? ’

 

‘ Sunny-ah, for the first time in my life I have this kind of feeling toward someone. The moment I saw her I know she is the one I want to spend my life with. I know it sound crazy because I just met her yesterday but I don’t know how to explain it to you……After I met her, all my mind is on her and I really love her ’ I said

 

‘ Soo, she is getting married. She will be someone’s wife ’

 

‘ Her marriage was arrange by her parents. She don’t love the person she will get married ’

 

‘ Are you sure? ’

 

‘ Yes. Yoona said it to me. She also told me that her so call wife already have a girlfriend so they will just pretend to be a couple in front of their parents ’

 

‘ So what are you planning to do? ’ Sunny asks

 

‘ I will confess my feeling when I come back. I will tell her that I love her and ask her to be my girlfriend ’

 

‘ Are you asking Yoona to cheat on her wife? ’ Sunny asks in disbelief

 

‘ This is not cheating. They are not in love and they are not a real married couple ’

 

‘ No matter what happen, you will have me to help you ’ Sunny pats my shoulder

 

‘ I know because you are my bestfriend ’ I smile

 

Three weeks later

 

Yoona’s POV

 

I just sit down on the couch

 

* Ding Dong *

 

I open the door

 

‘ Good afternoon. Are you miss Im? ’ the boy asks

 

‘ Yes is me ’

 

‘ You have a package ’

 

I sign and close the door. I open the box and I saw a smaller box with a few cupcakes. I look at the sender and is from Soo. My phone rang

 

‘ Hello? ’ I answer without looking at the ID

 

‘ Hey Yoong, have you receive the package I send to you? ’

 

‘ Soo, yes I just receive it. Thank you so much ’

 

‘ You’re welcome. This morning I was walk by a shop and saw those cupcake. I think you will like it so I bought it for you. I’m sure you will like it because they are delicious ’

 

‘ You already eat it without me ’ I pout

 

‘ Sorry. Are you at home? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ Then go to Skype now ’

 

I hang up and open my iPad. Soo is already online.

 

‘ Hey Soo ’ I wave happily

 

‘ Hey, now we can eat together ’ Soo shows me a cupcake in her hand

 

I chuckle and take the box of cupcake ‘ Hmm….which on should I eat? ’

 

‘ Eat the Red Velvet. I have a Red Velvet now ’

 

I take the Red Velvet and have a bit.

 

‘ How is it? ’ Soo asks while eating

 

‘ Delicious ’ I said happily

 

‘ I know ’ Soo smiles

 

‘ Soo, I really miss you ’ I said

 

‘ I miss you too. Luckily, we can still see each other via Skype everyday. ’

 

‘ I know but is still different ’

 

What I said is true, I know I only met her twice after our first meeting but I feel so connect to her. Sometimes I think if I’m not engage to Kwon Yuri then maybe I will date her.

 

‘ Just one more month then I’m coming back. I’m promise I will cook for you ’

 

‘ When is your flight? I want to pick you up ’ I ask

 

‘ Wow, you really miss me that much ’ Soo teases

 

‘ Yah~~~are you giving me or not ’ I pout

 

Soo giggles ‘ Do you have a pen and paper now? ’

 

I nod. I start to write down what Soo tells me.

 

Jessica’s POV

 

I’m at Yuri’s place tonight. Since Yuri have an important meeting tomorrow she already asleep now. I’m boring so I walk in the living room and play with my iPad.

 

It been already 3 weeks that Soo left for Japan and she just called me once. I wonder if she already forget about me. I just connect to Skype to talk with my sister then I saw Soo online. I click on her

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

I’m talking happily with Yoong then I saw Sica calling me. I really don’t wanna say goodbye to Yoong now but I don’t wanna be rude to my friend.

 

‘ I’m sorry Yoong, a friend is calling me on Skype. I’ll talk to you tomorrow ’

 

Yoong pouts

 

‘ Please don’t pout I will be all yours tomorrow ’

 

‘ Ok but don’t talk to late. You have schedule tomorrow morning ’ Yoong said

 

I chuckle ‘ Yes ma’am. See you tomorrow ’

 

I click on Sica ‘ Hey Sica ’

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Sica smiles when she saw Soo’s face on her computer.

 

‘ Hi, how are you? ’

 

‘ Great. How’s your work? ’ Soo asks

 

‘ Tiring. I’m taking pictures the whole day. How about you? ’ Sica said

 

‘ I have a few CF to shoot today, I arrive at the hotel like an hour ago ’ Soo pouts

 

‘ You must be tired. Let’s talk later ’ Sica said

 

‘ I’m fine. Is great to talk with a friend when I’m free. ’

 

‘ Just have some rest. Bye Soo ’

 

‘ Bye Sica ’

 

The next morning

 

YulSic’s POV

 

The couple is in a Starbucks have their morning coffee before going to work.

 

‘ Are you coming to my wedding next week? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ Of course I will. Don’t forget I’m the photographer for your company. Also, I can meet you wife ’ Sica smiles

 

‘ My so call wife. You know I’m just force with this marriage. ’

 

‘ I know but she is still your wife if you want it or not ’

 

‘ We already talk. We won’t bother each other after we get married ’

 

‘ Maybe you should just be friend with her even if you don’t like her ’

 

‘ Why you said the same like her? ’

 

‘ She said this too? ’

 

Yul nods ‘ By the way, Yoona will move in to my place tonight. Do you want to come and meet her before the wedding day ’

 

‘ Not tonight maybe another day. I don’t want her to feel uncomfortable ’

 

‘ OK ’

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

Yoong arrives at Yul’s appartment with a few suitcases.

 

‘ Where’s my room? ’

 

Yul walks in front of Yoong without helping her

 

‘ Hey, you are not going to help me? ’ Yoong asks

 

‘ Why should I? ’ she said then start walking follow by Yoong

 

‘ This is your room ’ Yul opens the door

 

Yoong walks in and looks around. Yul comes back with an envelop in hand

 

‘ This is for you ’ Yul said

 

‘ What’s this? ’ Yoong takes the envelop

 

Yoong opens it ‘ Divorce paper? ’

 

‘ Yes, I already sign it. So you can sign it whenever you want but just don’t take it too long ’ Yul said coldly

 

‘ We don’t even get married and you give me the divorce paper ’

 

‘ You won’t think that I will really spend my whole life with you right? ’

 

‘ O-of course not but we can’t get divorce only a few days after our wedding ’

 

‘ Then what do you propose? ’ Yul crossed her arms

 

‘ Look, how about we stay married for one year and then I sign this paper ’

 

‘ What you want me to live with a stranger for one year? ’ Yul said

 

‘ You really don’t remember who I am? We met…… ’

 

Yul cuts Yoong words ‘ Of course I know who you are, you are Im Yoona the girl that I’m force to get married. ’

 

Yoong sighs ‘ Whatever. Look I don’t wanna stay with you for one year but I do this for our parents. After one year, we can tell them that we have different personnality so we want I divorce. During these time, you can bring your girlfriend home and do whatever you want I don’t care ’

 

‘ Deal but after one year you need to sign the divorce paper ’ Yul said sternly

 

‘ Deal ’ Yoong said

 

One week later

 

YoonYulSic’s POV

 

Two days before YoonYul wedding, Yul asks Sica to sleep over at her place. Yoong just comes back from the hospital and when she walks in a blond girl is sitting on the couch.

 

‘ You must be Yoona ’ She smiles

 

‘ Yes and you are? ’

 

‘ I’m Jessica Jung, Yuri’s girlfriend ’

 

‘ Nice to meet you. I’m sorry about this arrange marriage but don’t worry I won’t steel your girlfriend ’

 

Sica chuckles ‘ Is not your fault about this marriage. I’m the one who ask her to keep secret about our relationship so I won’t blame you. For you information, Yuri’s heart is very difficult to stole ’

 

‘ What do you mean? ’

 

‘ It take me time to make her forget about her first love ’

 

‘ Her first love? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ Do you know who it is? ’

 

‘ No, she didn’t tell me ’

 

‘ You must be sad ’ Yoong said

 

‘ No, because she is honest with me. Now she is in love with me and forget her first love ’

 

‘ I’m happy for you. I promise after one year she is all yours ’

 

‘ Foods here ’ Yul comes in with two bags of foods

 

‘ Yoona, do you wanna join us for dinner ’ Sica asks

 

‘ No thanks. I’m going back to my room. ’

 

Yul didn’t ask and just walk in the kitchen

 

SooNa’s POV

 

After her bath, Yoong turns on her iPad and wait for Soo on Skype. After a few minutes

 

‘ Hey Yoong, you are early today ’ Soo smiles brightly

 

‘ Because I miss you ’ Yoong tease back

 

‘ Really? ’

 

Yoong nods

 

‘ Yoong where are you now? It doesn’t look at your room ’

 

‘ Yesterday I move in to her place. Have you forget that I told you? ’

 

‘ I didn’t forget, I just don’t know is already the date ’ Soo said slowly

 

There a silent

 

‘ Did she treat you  well? ’ Soo asks

 

‘ She is acting cold and mean with me ’

 

‘ How can she act cold toward a goddess like you. If I’m at her place I will treat you like a princess ’ Soo said angrily

 

Yoong chuckles ‘ Because my prince is in Japan so nobody is here to protect me ’

 

‘ Don’t worry, when I come back I will take care of you and protect you. I won’t let her bully you ’ Soo said in a serious tone

 

‘ Soo, I was just kidding. I’m fine. I can’t wait to see you in a month ’

 

‘ Hmm…..Yoong…… ’

 

‘ What? ’

 

‘ We have a problem with the pictures we took so I need to stay in Japan for another month ’

 

‘ You are joking right? ’

 

‘ No, I’m serious ’

 

‘ Then you will comes back in two month ’

 

Soo nods

 

‘ Is ok Soo, just tell me when you will come back and I will go pick you up ’

 

‘ Are you upset? ’

 

‘ A little but this is your work. I just miss spending time with you ’

 

‘ Hmm…..how about I take a few weeks off after I come back to spend so time with you ’

 

‘ But I have work I can’t have a few weeks off ’ Yoong said

 

‘ You don’t take a few weeks off. I will go see you at your office and we can meet at your appartment or mine after you finish your work ’

 

‘ Are you sure you can do this? ’

 

‘ Of course I can. I’m Choi Sooyoung ’

 

‘ I’m so glad that I met you that day. You are such a great friend ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Meeting you is the best thing that happen in my life. ’ Soo said

 

‘ Then don’t forget my gift when you come back ’

 

Soo chuckles ‘ I won’t. What do you want? ’

 

‘ Hmm….the cupcakes you bought to me they are so delicious ’

 

‘ I will send some to you tomorrow ’

 

‘ No, I want to eat it with you in person ’

 

‘ Ok, I will buy you cupcakes. And? ’

 

‘ That’s it ’

 

‘ Then I will try to buy you something special ’

 

They continue their chat for another hour before saying goodbye to each other.
