Yuri stayed with Seohyun a little longer because Seohyun’s mother said that she needed to overtime.

“Hyunnie”

“Yes, unnie?”

“Are you hungry?”

“I am”

“I’ll cook dinner. Do you want to help me?”

“Sure”

The two went to kitchen. Yuri rummaged the refrigerator for ingredients.

“Hyunnie, do you want a beef stew?”

“Beef stew? Sure sure”

While Yuri is preparing the ingredients, Seohyun is watching her.

“Yuri unnie”

“Hmm?”

“Can you teach me how to cook?”

“Teach you how to cook? Sure but I’ll tell you this, auntie is much greater cook than I am”

“Umma?” Yuri nodded.

“There was one time when I was young; hmm…maybe the same age as yours now, auntie taught me how to cook. I learned many things from her.”

“Really? Then, one day, I’ll ask umma to teach me”

While eating, Yuri told Seohyun about her precious memories when she’s still at the latter’s age.

“Wow, many amazing things happened during your childhood, unnie”

“Thinking back the old days make me wish that I’m a little child again”

“I want to have fun experiences, unnie”

“Hahaha! You’ll have many as time passed by or you can join me and your Yoona unnie. Just call us”

“Speaking of call unnie, can I get your number?”

“Huh? Number?”

“Your mobile number, unnie”

“Why? You already have a phone?”

“I do” Seohyun ran towards her room then immediately went back to show Yuri her phone.

“Whoa, when did you get that?”

“Last month. Umma bought it” Seohyun handed to Yuri her phone.

“Looks cool.Okay, let me save mine and my parents numbers” Yuri typed and saved their numbers. “Here” She handed it back to Seohyun.

“Thank you, unnie”

“Oh wait, I forgot to save one contact. Let me borrow your phone again” Seohyun gave Yuri her phone.

“Whose number did you forget unnie?”

“Yoona’s” At the mentioned of the older girl’s name, Seohyun quickly snatched her phone from Yuri.

“Hey, why did you do that?”

“N – No need to save Yoona unnie’s number?”

“Huh? Why?” Seohyun didn’t answer. “Ah, I see. You’re the one who is going to ask for her number. Sorry, I almost ruined your plan”

“N – No!” Seohyun shouted very loud that it surprise Yuri very much.

“Okay, okay. I won’t tease you anymore. Sorry. Okay. To lighten your mood, let’s play”

“What would we play?”

“Anything that you want” Seohyun quickly ran towards the rack beside the TV then ran back to Yuri.

“How about this?” Seohyun showed Yuri a dance video game.

“Sure” Seohyun handed Yuri the game and the latter prepare the console and  they started playing.

 

“Hi girls”

“Ah umma!” Seohyun run towards her mom whom just arrived.

“Good evening, auntie. We didn’t notice you already arrived”

“Yeah, you two are completely lost in your own world.”

“Umma look. Yuri unnie and I are playing the video game you just bought”

“Ah, really? That’s good. Did you have fun?” Seohyun nodded.

“Oh, it’s already late. I need to go home now, auntie”

“Is that so? Well then you better go now before your mother gets worried.”

“You’re already leaving, unnie?”

“Sorry, Hyunnie but it’s already late. I promise next time that we will play, we’ll make it longer”

“That’s a promise”

“I promise. Well, I better go now. Bye auntie, bye Hyunnie”

“Now, let’s pack things up and get you ready for bed”

It didn’t take long for Yuri to arrive at her house. After entering, she greeted her parents and went to her room. She took a quick shower before reading the notes that she wrote earlier that day.

Yuri accepted the call.

“Hello?”

“Yul”

“Oh, Yoong. What is it?”

“Did I disturb you or something?”

“Not really. I’m just reading today’s notes.”

“I see. Oh yeah, did you the two of you arrive home safely?”

“Of course, you wouldn’t be talking to me if we didn’t get home safely anyway what’s up?”

“Well, I’m going to have a small party at the house for my birthday”

“Okay. Why do you sound troubled? I’m perfectly sure that I’m going”

“Not you. Of course I know that you will go”

“Then who?”

“Seohyun”

“Seohyun? You mean Hyunnie?”

“Yes. I was wondering if auntie Seo will let her come”

“Why don’t you invite Hyunnie then she will be the one to ask auntie”

“That’s a good idea”

“Go contact her now”

“Huh?”

“Through you”

“Why me? Go call her or text her”

“Call or text? She has a phone?”

“Yep. Wait. I’ll text you her number” Yuri put Yoona on hold and sent her the little girl’s number. “There I already sent it”

“Thank you, buddy.”

“No problem”

“I probably should hang up now. I won’t disturb you anymore. I know you’re in your nerd mode”

“Tsk. I’m just still not sleepy”

“And why is that?”

“I...I…You already know it”

“Yes. Your cousin”

“Well, I’m apologizing in behalf of her for her rudeness”

“No need. Maybe I did something to her before to make her mad at me”

“But that’s the only reason in my head. You know what? Let’s stop this. Go contact Hyunnie now. She might go to sleep anytime now. She’s still a growing child”

Right after their call ended, Yoona saved Seohyun’s number in her contacts and texted her.

On the other side, Seohyun, who is about to go to sleep heard her phone vibrated. She looked at her phone and saw a message.

“Who is this? Wait, only Yoona unnie calls me Seohyun.”

 

Yoona’s phone vibrated. She looked at the message and smiled.

“Oh yeah, I didn’t introduce myself.

“It is indeed Yoona unnie but how did she get my number? Must be from Yuri unnie”
