Joonmyeon spent the weekend planning the date out step by step, paying extra attention to small details, leaving no procedure unexplored. He analysed all possible outcomes from his faults to the faults of the staff. Then again, his father, Sunggyu, was in charge of the catering department of Super-Infinite enterprises and being good friends with the CEO, Ryeowook, meaning that if the staff should fail they'd probably lose their jobs. 

He'd opted to go with the classic dinner out followed by a walk around Seoul. Nothing too fancy but it was something that screamed Joonmyeon. His father was rather enthusiastic about his son's first date in a long time, and had the best seats in the restaurant where he worked the most reserved. The seats themselves were situated beside a window that overlooked the Banpo Bridge so once hearing he had aquired those seats, Joonmyeon made sure the date was set at night. He'd made the decision to have the date set on Monday and prepared himself to call Jongdae to tell him the time and place. He found himself pacing his room, hands moving in various motions as he configured a conversation to initiate. 

There was a knock at his door and his mother came in, "Honey you're pacing again, you know we have the dust problem at the moment."

Joonmyeon stopped pacing and smiled sheepishly, "Sorry mother, I'm just thinking."

"There's a first," His mother muttered under her breath, smiling once she was her son's horrified expression, "Oh Joonmyeon you know I'm joking. What're you thinking about exactly? If you're wondering about what to do for the science thing, just go and ask your father, I'm sure he knows something."

Joonmyeon laughed and dismissed the idea of asking his father for help, "No, I'm trying to figure out how to tell Jongdae about our date on Monday."

His mother's eyes perked and she smiled, "Hm. Well, when your father tried to ask me out on a date he was very awkward let me tell you."

Joonmyeon cocked his head, "How so?"

His mother stried to stifle a laugh but failed, "He just was so...awkward."

His mother coughed as she walked to the bed, flattening away any creases, "Although we were told we'd be expected to marry to expand our businesses, with him being the heir to Infinite Inc and my father's company, Park & Co becoming influential and expanding into Japan presenting their oldest daughter, me, as a potential wife to secure an alliance of sorts. It was quite lucky that we eventually fell in love and got married before Infinite Inc got bought out by Super Junior Enterprises, otherwise our marriage would've been broken off and I'd probably be married to Ryeowook. Regardless, your father mumbled all his words and from what I heard he tripped over quite a bit throughout the conversation. So I'd advise you to stay still and speak clearly."

Joonmyeon nodded as his mother walked out the door, smiling to himself when she shouted, "Jongdae's cute! You better get and keep him!"

Joonmyeon fiddled with his phone before dialling Jongdae's number in which he got after the party was over. The phone rang for a few lengthy seconds before Jongdae's voice filled up his ear, "Yoboseyo?"

Joonmyeon grinned to himself, "Jongdae-ah! I'm calling to discuss the matters of the date we discussed at the party."

Joonmyeon heard Jongdae laugh and couldn't help but think about the younger's laugh and he felt himself heat up slightly, "Hyung you're too formal."

Joonmyeon scowled and shook his head, "No I'm not!"

Jongdae rolled his eyes, "Yeah you are. But I'm not in the mood for arguing, Kibum's being a , just what about our date?"

Jongdae flushed when he said 'our date' and he couldn't help but smile and sway his body slightly. He waited for a few seconds before Joonmyeon's voice came through the line, "On Monday we're gonna go to my Dad's main restauarant that overlooks the Banpo Bridge at around 8? I'll pick you up from yours."

Jongdae nodded, "See you at school Joonmyeon-hyung."

"You too Jongdae-ah."
